This week, Thriveworks rolled out its Patient Referral Dashboard, the latest technology we've built to support truly integrated care delivery. While it's clear physicians and other referring partners understand the benefits of behavioral health as part of the overall health picture, historically, their line of sight ends after handoff. So understanding if their patient engaged, their clinical progress and whether any medications were prescribed all went into a black box. The Patient Referral Dashboard is designed to keep these partners in the loop on their patients' progress so they can make better, more collaborative clinical decisions. This isn't a standalone product launch. It's an important layer of the connected care infrastructure we're building at Thriveworks. Because we believe better behavioral healthcare isn't just about connecting patients to the right care, it's helping their entire care team work together once they're there. I'm pleased to share a few insights from my recent interview for the Lifepoint Health Blog: "Overcoming Post-Acute Hurdles: Ask the Expert." __________________________________________________________________________ Q: Why is rehabilitation such a vital piece of a healthcare organization’s care continuum, and how do shared mission and values factor into choosing the right partner? Amy: For me, the true value of rehab is deeply personal. I still remember the very first patient I transitioned to acute rehab when I was a clinical liaison in Washington, D.C. Seeing that patient at the bedside right after a stroke and then watching them walk down the hallway of the rehab unit just a week or so later, I couldn’t believe it! The rehab team literally gave that patient their life and hope back. I knew right then that I had rehab in my heart. Because rehabilitation has such a profound, life-changing impact, alignment on mission and values is everything when evaluating a partner. You aren't just outsourcing a service; you are extending your care continuum. The right partner will always keep the patient at the very center of every clinical and operational decision. We are in service to our hospital partners, and our shared goal must always be about helping them better serve and heal their communities.

Brandon Goode and Dr. Mark Horowitz, co-founders of Outro Health, a Hannah Grey VC portfolio company, were recently featured in Inc. Magazine. Their company is addressing one of healthcare's most overlooked challenges: helping patients safely taper off psychiatric medications under clinical supervision. As Brandon discusses his personal story in the article, healthcare has built extensive infrastructure around prescribing medications, but far less around helping patients discontinue them safely when appropriate. That gap has left millions of patients searching for guidance on their own.
