96% of senior living residents participate in fewer than one meaningful event per day. The calendar is far from empty. It's just filled with generic activities, not ones your residents would actively participate in. Most operators are measuring the wrong thing. Counting events offered tells you nothing about whether residents are showing up, or whether what they attend actually matters to them. The gap between programming and participation is where quality of life quietly erodes. The stakes are high: each one-point improvement in quality of life corresponds to roughly 85 additional days of length of stay. We unpack all of this in our latest blog post, including what it takes to close that participation gap with intention and data. What happens when a private club realizes that sometimes the best member experiences are also the simplest? The Country Club of Virginia in Richmond listened to member feedback and created Sunset Sips, a complimentary outdoor social series built around casual conversation, live music and a welcoming atmosphere. As Ashley Payne, communications director at The Country Club of Virginia, explained, "The intent was more about member connection and was a direct response to member feedback for a more casual, low-cost opportunity to connect with fellow members outside of traditional club events." The success of Sunset Sips reminds clubs that listening to members, embracing simplicity and creating opportunities for authentic connection can have a lasting impact on club culture. It's a great example of how thoughtful programming can strengthen member engagement by focusing on what members value most: spending time together. Tuesdays and Wednesdays shouldn’t be the quietest days on your calendar. Most venues struggle to fill midweek gaps, but those open dates are actually prime opportunities for culinary pop-ups. Partnering with local chefs for a ticketed dinner series is a brilliant way to generate steady revenue and introduce new crowds to your space. The real hurdle is often the administrative heavy lifting. Venue Builder simplifies this by using AI to instantly draft professional outreach emails to local chefs and craft engaging social media posts to drive ticket sales. You get to keep your calendar full without the marketing burnout. It’s about working smarter to ensure your venue is a community hub every day of the week. Ready to turn those quiet nights into your most talked-about events? Visit venuebuilder.io to start filling your midweek gaps today. #VenueManagement #EventProfs #VenueMarketing #ChefPopUp

There's a $175B industry getting rebuilt from the ground up. And it's nightlife. For decades, the after-hours economy has relied on manual workflows, fragmented communication, and opaque operations. We’re changing that. CLUB YOU isn’t just an app; it’s the infrastructure layer. We provide the cloud-based system that allows venues, hosts, and nightlife professionals to operate with corporate-level precision. By integrating guest funnels, staff management, and real-time analytics into a single dashboard, we’ve automated the chaos. It’s the difference between hoping for a crowd and engineering an experience. The system is here: - Hosts: Access a professional toolkit to build and monetize events. - Venues: Fill spaces through data-driven partnerships and guaranteed traffic. - Professionals: Join a marketplace built for performance and efficiency. The manual era of nightlife is closing. The systematic era has begun. Welcome to the infrastructure of the after-hours. #NightlifeTech #HospitalityInnovation #ClubYou #EventManagement

Stop being a guest. Start being the Architect. In the old model of nightlife, you hope for a good vibe. In the new model, you build it. Hosting is the ultimate social currency. It’s the transition from attendee to operator. When you curate the environment, you aren't just throwing a party: you are building a network, a reputation, and personal capital. CLUB YOU provides the infrastructure to turn your vision into a professional-grade experience. While others wait in lines, the Architect manages the system: - Dedicated Dashboards: Full control over guest lists and ticketing. - On-Demand Staff: Instant access to vetted DJs, bartenders, and security. - Curated Venues: From rooftops to private lounges, the setting is yours. - Optimized Funnels: Turn social gatherings into strategic networking opportunities. Most people see a night out. You see a workflow. By leveraging our marketplace, you eliminate the logistical friction and focus entirely on the output: a high-tier atmosphere that positions you at the center of the room. Stop settling for random crowds. Start scaling your social influence. Build your first event at clubyou.us #ClubYou #SocialCurrency #NightlifeSystem #PrivateHosting

Start treating your Zoom meetings like a house party instead of a presentation. Think about what great house party hosts do: 🎉 They greet people by name on the porch... before they are even inside! 💻 On Zoom, that means smiling and ready BEFORE you turn the camera on. No one likes to be greeted by a stressed out host who can't figure out why their second screen isn't working. 🎉 They warm people up, give them a hug, show them around, before getting on the dance floor. 💻 On Zoom, that means asking an easy question in the first minute. ☀️ What's your favorite summer drink? 🚰 Did you drink from the hose as a kid? 🏖️ Beach or mountains? Then respond to what people share. Reward them for taking the risk with you. 🎉 House parties have a DJ! They watch the room, shift the vibes, they don't just play a Spotify list. 💻 On Zoom, this means paying attention to your audience. Your audience is giving you that same information in the chat. If one topic lights people up, stay there a little longer. If something falls flat, move on - do not fall victim to "come on guys, someone share..." ⭐ Here's what I'm really saying... the best virtual presenters create an experience with people - even through a screen, even when you are standing alone in a room staring at a camera. It's a choice to show up this way and it's a LOT MORE FUN once you get going. So tell us, what do you do to make your Zooms like a house party?!

Most events are forgotten by Monday. Not because the venue was wrong, or the food was bad. Because the energy was never intentional. Nobody was responsible for the room. A great event has a quiet architect behind it. Someone tracking the crowd before the crowd knows what it needs. Watching for the moment energy shifts. Adjusting. Holding the pace together from setup through the last song. That's not a DJ skill. That's a production mindset. I've worked with companies, nonprofits, and families who planned every detail of their event except the atmosphere. They booked a DJ as an afterthought, the way you'd book a rental chair. And the event was fine. But fine isn't what people talk about the next morning. The organizations that consistently produce memorable experiences treat atmosphere as a budget line, not a bonus. They think about sound design, energy pacing, and room psychology the same way they think about catering and decor. That shift in thinking is what separates an event people tolerate from one they remember. If you're planning something this fall for your company, organization, or community and you want the room to actually feel like something, I'd love to connect.

Wowow. Since posting the initial Lifecycle Supper Club seating chart last week, the community has already more than doubled in reservations. 🤯 We’re now at 100 members across 26 groups that are officially matched! This is quickly turning into a real strong community of lifecycle marketers across different cities, teams, levels, and backgrounds. Updated matched seating chart is attached. I’ve also been reading through all of the feedback, and one thing came through very clearly: people want a way to stay connected beyond the in-person meetups. A lot of folks mentioned Slack or WhatsApp to keep the conversations going, share resources, coordinate future meetups, and stay connected with their table or local city. I love that idea, but I also want to be thoughtful about it. The goal is not to create another Slack you join, forget about, and eventually mute. The goal is to create something useful, a place to coordinate with your matched group, connect with your local chapter, and keep the community moving in a way that feels lightweight and actually valuable. So I’ll be setting that up and starting to invite folks in soon. Behind the scenes, I’m still working through some the group matching and budgeting as new reservations come through, but please keep an eye out for intro emails to your group and slack community this week. And if you haven’t signed up yet, reservations are still open! The more people who join in each city, the more likely we can turn those cities into real in-person tables. 👉 Sign up here: https://lnkd.in/g_EadqFu
