Love seeing Carolyn Levy ICD.D talk about this…verification isn’t a compliance checkbox at the end, it’s part of how we build trust from the first resume that hits the funnel. Worth a listen if you’re thinking about workforce risk differently. 🎧

Trust isn't a checkbox. It's infrastructure. That's the thread running through my conversation with HRO Today CEO Elliot Clark on the Beyond Background Checks episode. We got into why one-time verification isn't enough anymore, and what it looks like to evaluate trust continuously across the whole hiring lifecycle, especially as supplier ecosystems get more layered and fraud gets more sophisticated. We're re-architecting how Procom evaluates trust across the entire talent supply chain, not just at the point of hire, so our clients have continuous visibility into who they're actually bringing into their workforce. This is a great morning commute piece. Please share your thoughts! Listen here: https://lnkd.in/gNDgZ7mP #WorkforceTrust #HRTech #FutureOfWork #ConsultingServices

One of the hardest things to do as a brokerage leader is say "no" to an agent who wants to join you but doesn't quite match your culture or standard. I recently had an excellent conversation with Kyle Zene-Moore on the Brokerkit Podcast that perfectly illustrated this challenge. Kyle pointed out that recruitment clarity requires two things: deeply understanding your own Unique Value Proposition (UVP), and strictly defining your ideal agent avatar. His advice? Don't negotiate, and don't waver. When we lower the bar to hit a headcount goal, we inherit operational friction that slows us down down the road. True scale comes from consistency, not compromise. Appreciate you dropping these gems, Kyle! 🔗 Watch our full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/e_nNaeCp

Day 4 of the daily video challenge using told-by 🎬. Today’s story comes from Max Schoening on Lenny's Podcast. He talks about a realization that changes how you see your work: the world around you is built by people who are no smarter than you. He explains why having "agency"—the belief that you can just change things and build from scratch—matters more than job titles or specific skills 🛠️. It is a very grounded perspective. I used told-by to animate this exact moment using a Disney style 🏰. 🔗 Here is the full interview: https://lnkd.in/eusHD6VA What do you think of this idea? 👇

This week we have Spencer from Art and Science on the Happy Teams podcast. His team told him something during the pandemic that changed how the agency operates. "Somebody told me, Spence, every time you use that emoji, it terrifies us. Apparently that indicated a certain level of sarcasm or passive aggressiveness." "People's interpretation of feedback or interpersonal communications didn't match the intention." That moment led to an 18th rule being added to Art and Science's culture: be human. "We've moved from a world where a client asks us to find someone, to one where we already have people in our family." In this episode of the Make it Work podcast from Magnet.me with Laurens van Nues, our CEO Sander van 't Noordende reflects on how hiring is evolving from reactive recruitment to building long-term relationships with talent 🤝 Staying connected with people over time can help organizations respond faster to changing talent needs and to the ever-evolving labor market. 🎙️ Listen to the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/eHXsTEmz

If you've been contacted for an interview, whether it was for a podcast or an article, what helps the pitch stand out and more importantly, worth your time? I haven't been this excited about a project in a long time but I am now at the stage where I need to actually do outreach. The imposter syndrome is real. I have a couple of ideas for personalization and once I announce the project, I will share the BTS process. (Hopefully it'll be a success story!)
