As we celebrates 50 years, we're excited to share the stories, experiences, and perspectives of the people who make our organization what it is. Today we're featuring Dale Bowen, Director of Member Services for the Public Technology Institute (PTI). Dale works with PTI’s leadership, member officials, private sector and other non-profit partner organizations to develop content to help local government managers and leaders better understand the tech, service delivery and management issues impacting local government. With thirty-five years of experience in the local government association community, Dale develops collaborative approaches and programs that provide insight and value to member and customer audiences. 1️⃣ If you had to describe Fusion in three words, what would they be? "Collaborative, Community, and Nimble" 2️⃣ When you think about your experience with Fusion, what moment stands out the most and why? “Probably my first GovIT Leadership Summit & Symposium where I was actively involved. Taking the escalator up to the main level and seeing hundreds of people moving about; seeing some familiar faces and lots of new faces. My thought was ‘this is pretty awesome.’” 3️⃣ What makes Fusion different from other organizations in this space?  "Commitment to public sector and non-profit communities and wanting to bring together organizations and individuals around common areas of interest, while being flexible to identify new opportunities for growth and collaboration.” 4️⃣ Looking ahead, what excites you most about where Fusion is going? “Expanding reach/customer base and recognition as a national organization that provides quality programming.” #50Stories #Fusion50 #Team
