What an incredible day in the Mountain West Division at our 2026 Safeway Media and Associate Bagging Challenge in Denver, Colorado.   We were proud to bring together our associates, media partners, and nonprofit organizations for an event that celebrated teamwork, inclusion, and a little friendly competition.   A huge thank you to our Special Olympics Colorado athletes and Safeway associates who showed their skill, speed, and dedication in every heat. You continue to inspire us and our communities every day.   We are also grateful to our media partners Denver7 (KMGH-TV), KUSA-TV, 9NEWS FOX31 KDVR / Channel 2 KWGN, CBS News Colorado, & iHeartMedia who joined the fun and brought great energy to the event. And thank you to Food Bank of the Rockies for partnering with us to distribute the food we bagged up!   Because of the generosity of our customers and associates, we are thrilled to share that together we raised over $382,000 to support organizations that create opportunities for people with disabilities.
