When evaluating a solar solution, most people focus on the number of solar panels being installed. In reality, system performance depends on the relationship between three critical components: Solar Array Capacity (kWp): Determines how much energy can be generated during daylight hours. On-grid solar is easy. Power cuts are where the real conversation begins. For a factory or commercial facility, installing solar doesn't automatically answer one important question: What happens when the grid goes down? There are two common approaches 1.
