Founders. CEOs. Every CPG business hits a moment where the choice isn’t obvious. You can protect the quarter… or protect the brand. You can move faster… or move right. At Voodoo Brands, we’ve seen this moment play out hundreds of times. And the pattern is clear: Ethical decisions aren’t a side conversation. They are a growth decision. They show up as real trade‑offs: > Margin vs. ingredient integrity > Clever claims vs. earned trust > Speed to scale vs. values‑aligned partners Most brands don’t lose because of one big mistake. They lose by making a series of “reasonable” shortcuts that quietly erode trust. In our latest leadership piece on Voodoo University, we break down: > Why compliance isn’t the same as integrity > Why ethics fails when it lives in marketing instead of operations > And how consistency has become a true competitive advantage in modern CPG If you’re navigating a launch, a pivot, or a scaling decision—and the stakes feel real—this is for you. Read the full piece on Voodoo University: https://lnkd.in/gjh858dY Subscribe for thinking designed for operators, not observershttps://lnkd.in/gTGdUwsy This is the work that builds brands investors back, retailers trust, and consumers stay loyal to. #CPGLeadership #BrandStrategy #ConsumerBrands #BusinessEthics #GrowthStrategy #BrandTrust #ExecutiveLeadership #BrandBuilding #InnovationStrategy

#TGIF Sharing - Business Ethics and Leadership In leadership session yesterday, we discussed about Leaders versus ethical decisions. We have been focusing on these for 8 weeks now, yet everyone’s arguments still revolve around "it depends on the situation." It made me feels like maybe we have fallen into the initial narrative that was established at the very beginning of the class. So yesterday, this was my p.o.v. in the class: "From the perspective of human nature, the reason we find decision making difficult is because, unconsciously, the benchmark to measure ethical standards has always existed within ourselves. And often time, we keep convincing ourselves that “I am an ethical leader/person.” But if we look at it from another perception, the moment you are in a dilemma, to some extent, you have already started turning toward the unethical direction. What actually traps us in the dilemmas is the mindset of wanting everything. Like the saying of "既要,又要,还要" (I want this, I want that, and I still want more), along with the unwillingness to scarifies. The greed, is the true core of the dilemma. If there is a willingness to let go of those already shaken/fragile perception, many decisions actually become much simpler. Looking at it from yet another perspective: When a decision requires us to consider too many factors simultaneously, we may never truly be able to make a decision. Therefore, sometimes what really needed is to "solve one problem at a time". What are we truly in dilemma of? Being unethical, or losing everything you wish to have at the same time?" Case study that started our discussion: Your product is launching tomorrow. Only then you were informed that a serious bug has been discovered. What would you do? Would you choose to proceed with the launch while fixing the issues along the way, or uphold the so-called highest ethical standards and cancel the launch entirely until every problem has been resolved, even at the risk of affecting your company's financial performance? *Picture generated by AI #Rephrased #OrganizationalLeadership #BusinessEthics

What does “responsible tech” actually look like in real life? A recent panel at Baruch College, organized by the Technology Leadership Development Program, brought together tech professionals to discuss AI, ethics, transparency and the real-world impact of technology. In a recent article for The Ticker, I cover the “Careers in Responsible Tech” panel and the conversations surrounding online safety, ethical decision-making and accountability in tech. One idea kept coming up throughout the discussion: Responsibility isn’t tied to one role, company or major. It’s about asking better questions while building technology and thinking beyond just growth or engagement. One quote that really stuck with me: “Responsibility is not a job title but a mindset.” As AI and technology continue to grow fast, conversations like these feel more important than ever. 25+ countries together … AI adoption. Davos just reminded us what actually matters. At the Davos Communications Summit 2026, leaders from 25+ countries landed on one shared truth: in an AI-driven world, trust is the new KPI! A few things that stuck with me: → AI makes content easier to produce. That’s exactly why authenticity is now the differentiator. → Facts and truth aren’t enough anymore. Trust has to be actively earned — especially from the people least inclined to give it. → Real value isn’t in what you produce. It’s in the outcomes you create and the impact you can actually prove. We’re entering a phase where the volume of AI-generated content is infinite. What’s scarce is credibility! The companies that get this right won’t just have better tools. They’ll have better reputations. https://lnkd.in/e3GF_cf2 #AI #Trust #Leadership #AIStrategy #FutureOfWork

The ultimate test of an executive is what they do when the data is inconclusive. AI hates inconclusiveness; it will always provide a confidence score. But 70% confidence is just a fancy way of saying "I don't know." In that 30% gap lies the entirety of your value as a leader. That gap is where your courage, your ethics, and your experience live. That gap is the only reason you have the job. The Judgment Line™ Where computation ends. And accountability begins. Let's lead! 💥 #1099ImpactStreet #LeadershipDevelopment #AIGovernance #ExecutiveLeadership
