WEDC Secretary John Miller Discusses Wisconsin Innovation Ecosystem

WEDC Secretary John W. Miller to discuss Wisconsin's innovation ecosystem at Aug. 19 luncheon Wisconsin's innovation economy, entrepreneurial ecosystem and economic development priorities will take center stage during a fireside chat featuring Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) secretary and chief executive officer John W. Miller on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at the Madison Club.    Hosted by the Wisconsin Technology Council and WisPolitics of State Affairs as part of Madison's annual The Forward Festival, the luncheon will feature a discussion between Miller and Wisconsin Technology Council president Maggie Brickerman on Wisconsin's evolving innovation landscape and WEDC's role in supporting entrepreneurs, startups, investors and technology-driven businesses.    The discussion will explore WEDC's work to strengthen Wisconsin's innovation ecosystem through startup support, access to capital, commercialization, regional economic development and other initiatives designed to help businesses launch, grow and compete. Miller will also discuss how entrepreneurs, innovators and technology companies can partner with WEDC and take advantage of the agency's programs and resources.
