“It’s guys that look like me saying that SEO is dead,” said the Danish CEO. “I’m here to tell you, it’s not. Those headlines are simply click-bait” I had the absolute pleasure of participating in two sessions, one live and one virtual, this week regarding the evolution of search in the age of LLMs. Anders Lykke and Alexander Borgvall Bjork from Precis hosted "The B2B AI Search Shift" with one of their partners from Peec AI. They shared that 82% of buyers choose their product from their initial “day one” research list. And currently, many are initiating that search in generative AI chatbots like Claude, Perplexity, ChatGPT, Copilot. What do these models prioritize? Authority. Research. Trust. The top of the funnel. Your brand. Yet what are growth marketers being pushed to optimize for? The lower funnel. Leads. Leads. And more leads. Malte Landwehr, CPO & CMO of PeecAI, led a fascinating session hosted by Goldcast, “Marketing to Machines: GEO & the Rise of Agentic Buyers.” Another astounding statistic was that while organic search clicks have declined significantly, the conversion rate of an AI initiated search can be 4-20X. So what to do? Focus on the long game. Become the authority in your space. Write content that is worthy of citations. Tinker with the mechanics of your website so that LLMs can easily access that content. And - if you're looking for marketing support or visibility into how your brand is showing up in LLMS, reach out to Precis or Peec AI. Ultimately, create a brand that is not only known, it’s loved, and trusted.

Your buyers aren't Googling anymore. They're asking AI. And if your brand isn't optimized for machine evaluation, you're not even in the room when the shortlist gets made. That's why we're talking about Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — and what it actually means for marketing leaders navigating the agentic economy. Join us together with Malte Landwehr of Peec AI on April 28 at 1PM EST to cover: → How AI agents are reshaping vendor discovery and purchase decisions → What GEO means at a strategic (not just tactical) level → How to adapt your content, data, and measurement frameworks — now This one's for the CMOs and senior marketers who want to get ahead of it, not catch up to it. 🔗 sign up: https://lnkd.in/erSUScRe

At Peec AI, one of the first customer segments where we saw real traction was B2B SaaS. Why? • Long sales cycles. • A lot of product comparison. • Manually created shortlists. • Obfuscated pricing. ➡️ The buyer journey was ripe for AI disruption! Today we have multiple SaaS clients that get 20%+ of their new leads from LLMs. Next Tuesday I am running a webinar on what this shift means strategically - and what Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) actually looks like when autonomous agents start doing the evaluating. Three things we will cover: • How the buyer journey changes when the first 80% happens inside an LLM and humans only make the final decision. • What GEO is at a strategic level - not a list of tactics, but how to position a brand for inclusion and favorable evaluation by machines. • How to adapt content, data, and measurement so you stay visible in the agentic economy. No fluff. No "AI will change everything" slides. Concrete frameworks and metrics from someone who has been an outcome-focused practitioner for 20+ years. 🗓 April 28, 7:00 - 8:00 PM CEST 🔗 Registration link in the comments If you are responsible for SEO, content, or demand gen and you are still reporting only on rankings and sessions - this one is for you.
