Earlier this month, we spent a full day recruiting in Charlotte- excited to finally share a few highlights (better late than never) 📸 We had the opportunity to meet with and interview graduating students interested in starting their careers in the multifamily industry, then wrapped up the day at a career fair hosted by one of our valued partners, Entryway NC. Experiences like this validate why I always stress the importance of maintaining an “always be recruiting” mindset. Being intentional about showing up and engaging with talent makes a difference. It was an exciting and busy week from the start! The GCAAEF BOD met to discuss our strategic plan and our impact to the future of our association. Honored to serve with Liz Newkirk, CLMS-B and Nathan Sedlak and continue to advocate for the EF. Thursday was a hit with the Window Hero Charlotte team for the Entryway Top Golf tournament. Thank you Adam A. for the invite. It was great to catch up with all of my industry colleagues and several people I’ve had the pleasure of working with and represent and introduce Kairoi Residential. Friday ended with one of my favorite events, the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association Charity Golf Tournament. A great evening for Smart Build at the Entryway NC event at Topgolf Charlotte. We were proud to have Genevieve Van Duyne representing Smart Build at the event, reconnecting with existing partners and building new relationships with operators across the industry.
