We were proud to join public leaders, planners, engineers, and resiliency professionals at the TBRPC Resiliency Summit in Tampa Bay last week exploring the future of infrastructure, sustainability, and community resilience. One takeaway stood out: sustainability and resilience are not costs to manage, they are drivers of long-term value. As energy and climate modelling become central to real estate decisions, the case for smarter, greener buildings has never been clearer. Grateful to have been part of these conversations. Workplace typology drives both fit-out cost and ROI. Open-plan collaboration, private focus zones, or hybrid flex space? These choices shape project costs by 10–30% and determine whether your office supports or hinders how people work. The right typology aligns space with workforce needs. The wrong one creates expensive misalignment. JLL's Global Office Fit-Out Costs Guide 2026 provides the frameworks to connect workspace strategy with financial outcomes.
