Gaia Benamati
I am currently a research fellow in “Greek Language and Literature” (SSD HELL-01/B [formerly L-FIL-LET/02]) at the University of Trento, within the Department of Humanities. My research forms part of the project Il dialogo tragico: funzioni, tradizione, ricezione ("The Tragic Dialogue: Functions, Tradition, Reception"). This is one of the units of the broader PRIN 2022 project Dialogue in the Classical Age between Scene and Literature: Forms, History, Echoes, Reception (acronym DiC, 2022S87K4F – CUP E53D23022220006), which involves the Universities of Trento (tragic dialogue), Bari (comic dialogue), and Pisa (philosophical dialogue).
Following my MA in Philology and Literary Criticism (curriculum: History of the Classical and Mediaeval Tradition) at the University of Trento, I completed my PhD in “Letters, Languages, and Arts” (curriculum: Literatures and Philology) at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”.
