Anger Management

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of self-awareness skills and Anger Management on Teenagers Aggression. The research method was quasi experimental with pre test-post test design and control group. The experimental groups received training program in 6 sessions (each one hour), all participants answered the questionnaire in post test. Finally, questionnaires data and Demographic information have been used for analysis and Hypothesises were tested by co-variance (ANCVOVA) analysis. Results indicated that the post-test values have been affected by the independent variables (F=154/662, P<0.05). Results showed that self-awareness skills and Anger Management had a positive effect on Teenagers Aggression.

Social media trending lists have become central infrastructures through which collective attention is algorithmically organized and hierarchically structured. While existing research has predominantly focused on Western platforms, far less is known about how algorithmic visibility operates across Asian digital publics, where platform penetration, entertainment-driven attention, and competitive ranking dynamics are particularly pronounced. Drawing on minute-level trending-list data collected from major social media platforms across Asia between 2020 and 2021, this study examines the temporal dynamics of algorithmic attention and introduces the concept of attention lifecycle stratification to capture systematic differences in visibility duration, rhythm, and decay. Using Functional Principal Component Analysis (FPCA) combined with time-series clustering, we identify five distinct attention trajectory typologies: Sudden Dominance, Late Bloomer, Middle-of-the-Road, Flash in the Pan, and Low-Ranking Lingering. Objective  To evaluate the extent to which anger management training provided within a learning disabilities day service generalizes to residential settings.Method  Eleven day‐service users participated in one of two anger management groups. Treatment was delivered by day‐service staff and an assistant psychologist, using a standard cognitive‐behavioural therapy (CBT) package shown to be effective in earlier studies. Bu çalışmada, Ordu ilinde destekleme ve yetiştirme kurslarında görevli öğretmenlerin kurslara yönelik öz algı düzeyleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yaklaşımlarından betimsel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin destekleme ve yetiştirme kurslarına yönelik öz algı düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla Uğurlu ve Aylar (2017) tarafından geliştirilen, 36 madde ve 4 alt boyuttan oluşan "Destekleme ve Yetiştirme Kurslarına Dönük Öğretmen Öz Algı Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Bu ölçek, 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılında Ordu merkez ve ilçelerinde görev yapıp ortaokul ve liselerde açılan destekleme ve yetiştirme kurslarında ders veren farklı branşlardaki öğretmenlerden oluşan evrenden küme örneklem seçimi yöntemiyle belirlenen 416 öğretmene uygulanmıştır. Veriler SPSS ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde Bağımsız Örneklemler t-Testi, ANOVA, Levene Testi ve Kruskal Wallis H Testi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre, öğretmenlerin destekleme ve yetiştirme kurslarına dönük öz algı düzeylerinin cinsiyete, mesleki kıdeme, okul türüne ve yerleşim birimine göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık göstermediği, alt boyutlara göre ise öğretmenlerin "Katılıyorum" düzeyinde öz algıya sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin kurslara ilişkin öz algılarının en yüksek düzeyde akademik katkı, en düşük düzeyde ise sosyal olumsuzluk boyutlarında olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu durum öğretmenlerin akademik katkı boyutunda çok yüksek öz algılara sahip olduklarını, buna karşın sosyal olumsuzluk boyutunda kısmen düzeyinde öz algılara sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda destekleme ve yetiştirme kurslarının zaman zaman öğretmen ve öğrencileri yorgunluğa ve motivasyon kaybına sevk etmesinden dolayı kursların sosyal, kültürel ve sportif etkinliklerle zenginleştirilerek davamın arttırılmasının önemli olduğu gözlemlenmiştir.

Researchers have demonstrated that cognitive-behavioral intervention strategiessuch as social problem solvingprovided in school settings can help ameliorate the developmental risk for emotional and behavioral difficulties. In this study, we report the results of a randomized controlled trial of Tools for Getting Along (TFGA), a social problem-solving universally delivered curriculum designed to reduce the developmental risk for serious emotional or behavioral problems among upper elementary grade students. We analyzed pre-intervention and post-intervention teacher-report and student self-report data from 14 schools, 87 classrooms, and a total of 1296 students using multilevel modeling. Results (effect sizes calculated using Hedges' g) indicated that students who were taught TFGA had a more positive approach to problem solving (g= .11) and a more rational problem-solving style (g= .16). Treated students with relatively poor baseline scores benefited from TFGA on (a) problem-solving knowledge (g= 1.54); (b) teacher-rated executive functioning (g=.35 for Behavior Regulation and .32 for Metacognition), and proactive aggression (g= .20); and (c) self-reported trait anger (g= .17) and anger expression (g= .21). Thus, TFGA may reduce risk for emotional and behavioral difficulties by improving students' cognitive and emotional self-regulation and increasing their pro-social choices.

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the coach's communication skills according to the perceptions of combat sports athletes and the constant anger-anger expression style in the athlete. A total of 277 athletes, 114 (41.2%) women and 163 (58.8%) men, voluntarily participated in the study. Personal information form prepared by the researcher, Coach Communication Skills Scale According to Athlete Perception created by Abakay and Kuru (2009), and State-Traıt Anger Expressıon Style Of The Athlete Scale developed by Spielberger et al. (1988) and adapted to Turkish by Özer (1994) were used to collect the data. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, One Sample T Test, Anova and Pearson Correlation test in SPSS 24.0 package program. The significance level was set at 0.05 in all analyses. According to the findings obtained, a significant relationship was found between the coach's communication skill scale according to athlete perception and gender, age, marital status, nationality status and education status variables, while no significant relationship was found in terms of income level and sports year variables. A significant difference was found between all variables and the continuous anger sub-dimension, which is one of the sub-dimensions of the constant anger-anger expression style scale. Also, a non-significant negative relationship was found between the total score of the coach communication skills scale according to athlete perception and the continuous anger sub-dimension of the constant anger-anger expression style scale, between the anger inside sub-dimension, between the anger outside sub-dimension, between the anger control sub-dimension. As a result, the findings expressed show that coaches' communication skills play an important role in athletes' anger control and expression styles. Therefore, it has been concluded that coaches' communication skills need to be developed to encourage better management of anger and more effective expression of anger.

This article argues that the first and most pervasive injury of war is not always material destruction but the erosion of the sense of security that makes ordinary life appear continuous, inhabitable, and predictable. Focusing on the contemporary Iran–US–Israel war, it examines the conflict through the analytical lens of the history of emotions and contends that war must be understood not only in terms of strategy, military capability, and geopolitical calculation, but also through the emotional conditions under which societies endure and interpret violence. Fear, anticipation, humiliation, grief, endurance, and wounded dignity are treated here not as secondary reactions to political events, but as constitutive forces in the making of collective life under conditions of conflict. The article further shows that the destabilization of security exceeds the battlefield by reshaping everyday temporality, social perception, and even economic behavior, since markets, expectations, and risk regimes are inseparable from confidence and insecurity. By foregrounding the corrosion of trust and the vulnerability of the ordinary, the study proposes that war enters social existence before it reaches its fullest material devastation. In this sense, the first casualty of war is the emotional infrastructure of collective life: the sense of protected continuity through which societies imagine tomorrow.

An examination of the influence of self-efficacy regarding anger management on psychological and physical dating aggression using an agentic perspective of individual functioning. The investigation applied both the individual perspective (Study 1) and the interactional perspective (Study 2). This article argues that the contemporary crisis of capitalism can no longer be understood only through the classical model of material overproduction. Drawing on the Marxist theory of crisis, especially the framework associated with P. K. Figurnov, it proposes that digital capitalism has displaced the contradiction of overproduction from the factory to language itself. In the age of artificial intelligence and large language models, words, narratives, arguments, and symbolic forms are produced at near-zero marginal cost and on an effectively unlimited scale. What follows is not an expansion of meaning, but its devaluation. As commodities once lost exchange-value when they could not be sold, language now loses meaning-value when it can no longer be absorbed, interpreted, or distinguished within an oversaturated symbolic market. The article develops this claim across four movements: the transformation of classical overproduction into linguistic overproduction; the collapse of intellectual value under AI automation; the need to oppose planned obsolescence with civilisational durability; and the ideological failure of accelerationist fantasies that confuse energy, speed, and scale with historical direction. It concludes that the deepest crisis of late capitalism is not simply economic, but superstructural: a breakdown of meaning, legitimacy, continuity, and symbolic order. Within this condition, Ayolov's work is presented as one of the few contemporary attempts to map the totality of a decaying superstructure and the obscure emergence of a new one.

İnsanoğlunun yaşamında önemli kavramlardan biri duygulardır. Sevinç, umut, iyimserlik ve coşku gibi olumlu duyguların yanı sıra korku, üzüntü, acı ve hayal kırıklığı gibi olumsuz duygular, insan yaşamının bir parçasıdır. Olumlu duyguların veya olumsuz duyguların yaşanması gayet doğaldır. Önemli olan duygusal durumlarda verilen tepkilerin ne kadar sağlıklı olduğudur. Duygular yerinde, zamanında ve ölçülü bir biçimde yaşandığı zaman zararsızdır. Böyle durumlarda duygular sağlıklı bir biçimde düzenlenmiş olur. Ancak duygularla sağlıklı bir biçimde baş edilemediğinde, bireyde birtakım problemler ortaya çıkar. Yapılan çalışmalar, duygu düzenlemede yaşanan güçlüklerin ruhsal bozuklukların etiyolojilerinde önemli roller oynadığını ortaya koymaktadır. Bazı bireyler yaşadıkları duygular karşısında, sahip oldukları becerilerle bu durumun üstesinden gelirken, bazıları bu becerilerden yoksun olduklarından dolayı bu zorlukları daha ağır yaşarlar. Duygu düzenleme güçlükleri kişiyi mevcut durumun altından kalkmak için irrasyonel yollara sevk eder. Bu yollardan biri de bağımlılıktır. Yapılan çalışmalar, duygu düzenleme güçlüklerinin bağımlılıklara yol açtığını ve duygu düzenleme beceri eğitimi alan bireylerin bağımlılıklarla daha iyi baş ettiğini ortaya koymuştur. Bu makalenin amacı, bağımlılıkla mücadelede duygu düzenleme becerilerinin önemi konusunda farkındalık oluşturmak ve koruyucu ve önleyici ruh sağlığı hizmetlerine katkıda bulunmaktır.

There is a moment that most people recognise but rarely name it.
It happens quickly. So quickly that it often escapes memory. A teacher corrects you in front of the class. A supervisor dismisses your idea with a wave of the hand. A group laughs and you realise the laughter is about you.
Nothing has struck your body.
Yet something inside you drops, as if a floorboard has suddenly given way.
Power has left the room.
Not physical power. You can still walk, still lift, still run. What vanishes is the invisible sense that you are able to shape events. For a few seconds, you feel reduced from an actor to an object.
Psychological aggression is born in this precise interval.

Son yıllarda toplumsal şiddet olaylarındaki artış, bireylerin şiddete ilişkin düşünce, duygu ve davranış biçimlerini sistematik olarak değerlendirebilecek geçerli ve güvenilir ölçme araçlarına duyulan ihtiyacı artırmıştır. Bu nedenle, yetişkin bireylerin şiddete yönelik tutumlarını Türk kültürel bağlamında bütüncül biçimde değerlendirebilecek yeni bir ölçek geliştirilmesi gerekli görülmüştür. Çalışmada, 18 yaş üstü bireylerin şiddete yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla SİSİVET Şiddet Tutum Ölçeği'nin Türk kültüründe geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizlerinin yapılması hedeflenmiştir. Ölçeğin geliştirilme süreci; kapsam geçerliği, yapı geçerliği, benzeşim ve ayrışım geçerliği, güvenirlik çalışmaları ve elde edilen yapının doğrulanması aşamalarını içermektedir. Veri toplama süreci, Google Forms aracılığıyla ulaşılan 634 katılımcıyla (AFA:322, DFA:312) gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ölçek 4 faktör (Otoriterlik, Saldırganlık, Ayrımcılık, Meşrulaştırma) ve 16 maddeden oluşan beşli Likert tipi bir ölçüm aracıdır. Ölçeğin açıkladığı toplam varyans %76 olup, genel Cronbach's α güvenirlik katsayısı .96'dır. Tüm maddelerden alınan puanların toplanmasıyla ölçek toplam puanı elde edilir ve ham puan 0 ile 64 arasında değişmektedir. Bu puanın yönergeye uygun şekilde 100 puana standardize edilmesi önerilmektedir. Puanın artması, bireyin şiddete yönelik tutumunun daha yüksek olduğunu göstermektedir.

Amaç: Sonuçları bakımından hem birey hem de örgüt için önemli bir kavram olan duygusal emeğin çeşitli değişkenlerle ilişkisi geçmişte yapılan çalışmalarda ortaya konulmuştur. Bununla birlikte, duygusal emek ve kişilik ilişkisini inceleyen araştırmacılar daha çok dışa dönüklük ve nevrotiklik boyutlarına odaklanmışlardır. Bu çalışmada ise, duygusal emeğin beş faktör kişilik özellikleriyle ilişkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Çalışmaya 275 akademisyen (137 kadın, 138 erkek) katılmıştır. Ölçüm aracı olarak Duygusal Emek Ölçeği ve Beş Faktör Kişilik Envanteri kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Yapılan analizlerde duygusal emeğin boyutlarından yüzeysel davranış ile dışa dönüklük, uyumluluk ve sorumluluk boyutları arasında olumsuz yönde ilişki bulunmuştur. Duygusal emeğin diğer boyutu olan derin davranış ile dışa dönüklük, uyumluluk, sorumluluk ve deneyime açıklık boyutları arasında olumlu yönde, nevrotiklik boyutuyla arasında olumsuz yönde ilişki bulunmuştur. Tartışma: Sonuç olarak, çalışmanın hipotezlerini destekler biçimde, beş faktör kişilik özelliklerinin duygusal emeğin her iki boyutuyla anlamlı ilişkilere sahip olduğu görülmüştür. The Perverse Language is the fourth part and last of Volume I in THE MISCOMMUNICATION TRILOGY and serves as the culminating movement of the first volume’s inquiry into linguistic decay, distortion, and miscommunication. While the earlier parts examine the planned obsolescence of language, the conspiratorial nature of speech, and the rise of anti-languages, this book confronts the most troubling dimension of communication: its perversion. Language here is not merely fragmented or manipulated; it becomes structurally inverted, detached from truth, sincerity, and shared reality.
The book opens with the concept of mass miscommunication. Misunderstanding is no longer treated as accidental or episodic but as systemic. In contemporary societies, speech circulates at unprecedented speed, yet clarity diminishes. Biased language, ideological framing, and algorithmic amplification create environments in which distortion stabilises itself. The “miscommunication axiom” suggests that the more communication expands without shared interpretative frameworks, the more entropy increases. Communication multiplies; understanding contracts.
A central section of the book is devoted to lying. Rather than moralising deception as purely individual failure, Ayolov analyses the linguistics of lying as a social practice. Why do people lie? Because language permits strategic ambiguity, selective emphasis, and contextual framing. Conspicuous dishonesty, however, often signals something deeper: a cultural shift in which truth becomes negotiable. The line between error, manipulation, and narrative construction blurs.
The analysis of hypocrisy advances this diagnosis. Hypocrisy thrives not in silence but in hyper-articulation. Public actors proclaim virtue while engaging in contradictory practices. Organised hypocrisy emerges when institutions maintain symbolic commitments that diverge from operational realities. The paradox lies in the fact that hypocrisy can stabilise social systems; it allows moral language to persist even when behaviour deviates. Language preserves legitimacy while action undermines it.
Deception, in Ayolov’s account, is both art and science. The book explores the aesthetics of deception — how persuasive narratives captivate audiences — and the institutionalisation of deception within scientific fraud, media manipulation, and political propaganda. The concept of “overproduction of truth” captures a distinctive modern condition: rather than censorship through silence, societies face saturation through competing truths. When everything claims validity, discernment weakens.
The hermeneutic section addresses interpretation as both remedy and risk. Understanding depends on interpretation, yet interpretative frameworks are themselves shaped by bias and ideology. Typology and categorisation organise perception but also limit it. The book argues that miscommunication is not solved by multiplying interpretations; it requires reflexivity about the frameworks guiding interpretation.
A particularly striking chapter examines obfuscation. Grammaticalisation and lexical inflation transform simple realities into complex abstractions. Bureaucratic language, academic jargon, and managerial vocabulary obscure agency and responsibility. The limits of words become visible not because language fails, but because it is stretched beyond clarity. Obfuscation does not eliminate meaning; it multiplies it to the point of opacity.
The final section introduces the concept of hypernormalisation. Distorted communication becomes normalised through repetition. Citizens recognise inconsistencies between words and reality yet continue to participate in the linguistic performance. The “language of names” reveals how labels can dehumanise, reducing individuals to categories. Once categorisation hardens, empathy weakens. Language becomes an instrument of distance.
The concluding movement toward “discommunication” suggests that breakdown is not merely communicative failure but structural inversion. Lingua perversa is a condition in which words no longer mediate shared understanding but reinforce fragmentation. Sanity itself becomes entangled with linguistic stability. When language detaches from coherent reference, psychological and social equilibrium destabilise.
Yet The Perverse Language does not culminate in despair. By exposing the mechanisms of lying, hypocrisy, deception, obfuscation, and hypernormalisation, the book invites awareness. Perversion is not inevitable; it is produced. Recognising distorted patterns enables resistance. Communication can be recalibrated through sincerity, clarity, and reflexive listening.
As the final part of Volume I in THE MISCOMMUNICATION TRILOGY, The Perverse Language synthesises the trilogy’s foundational concerns. It demonstrates that linguistic decay is not simply about simplification or fragmentation but about inversion — the transformation of language from a medium of mutual understanding into a mechanism of systemic distortion. The task that remains is not to abandon language but to confront its perverse tendencies with disciplined attention and ethical responsibility.

In a world where so many people are facing difficult circumstances, what can they do to overcome negative emotions and find happiness? For decades psychologists have been identifying key factors associated with happiness and with depression. However, researchers have rarely looked for a comprehensive formula that can predict happiness and depression accurately. In my study of 3,446 people I discovered a formula I call our Happiness Quotient (HQ) that could predict people's happiness with 75% accuracy. 1 This degree of predictive power is unusually high for this type of research. The HQ formula is based upon three types of internal personal factors-our ultimate values, core beliefs and fears, and life skills. Since learning can change all these factors, people can improve their HQ and their chances of being happy. This research also supports the idea that a person with internal strength can overcome difficult circumstances to be happy. The Success and Happiness Questionnaire (SHAQ) is a unique questionnaire that asks questions about beliefs, skills, and habits that are much more specific than other questionnaires. It is easy for users to relate the questions to their own thoughts and behaviors in ways most questionnaires don't. The results of our research show that these specific factors add up to be powerful correlates of happiness and other life success outcomes. The good news for users is that they can use these results to get clear feedback about which beliefs, skills, and habits they need to modify to improve their happiness and life success. What are these HQ factors? The first HQ factor type is what we value most in our lives. My research showed that "time-honored, internally centered values are among the most important contributors to happiness. The more people valued mental or internally centered values such as happiness and health for self and others; loving all people unconditionally; contributing to the world; integrity; self-development; seeking truth and knowledge; mental challenge; living a balanced life; and loving God (or a Higher Power), the happier and more successful they tended to be." Other values such as social and family values and accomplishment were also positive factors. The second factor type is best described as our core beliefs and fears. The core belief scales most strongly associated with happiness and low depression were Positive World View (optimism), Self-Worth, Internal Control, and Low Greatest Fears. In other words, having core positive beliefs about the world, other people, and oneself; believing in the unconditional value of everyone; and having beliefs that support internal control over one's life (as opposed to believing you are controlled by fate, your environment, or other people) were powerful factors associated with happiness and low depression. People's greatest fears are often the flip side of their top values and beliefs, and having low fears of death, poverty, rejection, failure, and illness are good predictors of happiness. The third factor type, life skill areas, was also highly associated with people's happiness. The first area, selforiented skills, included skills like life planning, time-management, emotional coping, self-motivation, and learning. Interpersonal skills, especially skills like intimacy, conflict resolution, collaborative, and assertive skills were associated with interpersonal success, happiness, and low depression. Self-confidence in one's skills in key life areas was also a strong predictor of happiness and low depression. What was actually being measured in this study? Questions on the Overall Happiness Scale asked users to rate "Overall happiness during the past year" and happiness in the different life areas such as career, self, romantic relationship, family, friendships, spiritual life, and recreation. The Depression Scale questions were based upon the official psychiatric definition of clinical depression. The HQ formula also successfully predicted how much medication and treatment people had used for depression. In addition to its success predicting happiness and depression, the HQ formula also was a good predictor of people's overall anxiety, anger and aggression, relationship success, health, and even their income. I designed SHAQ and this study to test ideas in my book, You Can Choose To Be Happy: "Rise Above" Anxiety, Anger, and Depression. The revised book provides a detailed examination of these HQ factors, describes how the reader can self-develop them, and provides a layman's summary of the SHAQ research results. It is based upon 30+ years of personal and clinical experience seeing people overcome negative emotions by modifying these HQ factors. For example people can usually overcome their worst fears by exploring them and developing plans for internally or externally coping with them. This is the final report to Phyllis Wheatley Community Center (PWCC) on assessing outcomes in its Family Services Program (FSP). The project was conducted from June 18 to August 25 2007 as a 50% summer student research project, which was funded by the Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA), University of Minnesota and the PWCC in Minneapolis. As proposed by Mr. Gustafson, the goal of this research project was to produce a cost-benefit analysis of the PWCC&#39;s Family Service Program. He stated to the author that &#39;we believe there is a need to determine what, if any, return on investment there is for programs that provide family stability services including anger management, domestic violence prevention, self-sufficiency planning, and effective parenting for high risk populations.&#39;

Academic stress is a widespread problem that affects many students, causing psychological distress. The primary purpose of this study was to find out the mediating role of the classroom environment between social skills and academic stress among the college students. This research utilized a quantitative non-experimental descriptive-correlational research design that suggests mediation analysis in the analysis of the relationships and mediating influence of the classroom environment on the relation between social skills and academic stress among college students. The respondents of this study were 353 college students. Stratified random sampling procedure was utilized to select respondents from the students of the Local College in the Municipality of Sto.

This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) in reducing anger and improving emotional regulation among Nigerian adolescents in Ikeja LGA. It adopts a quasiexperimental pretest-posttest design with a control group to assess changes in anger, regulation, and related behaviors following a culturally adapted REBT intervention. Participants were [N] adolescents (aged [11-17]) from [number] secondary schools in Ikeja LGA, randomly assigned to an intervention group (n = [x]) or a wait-list control group (n = [y]). Baseline and post-intervention assessments used validated measures of anger (e.g., Nigerian-adapted State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory), emotional regulation, and behavior (peer relations, school engagement). The intervention comprised [number] weekly sessions (each [duration]) delivered by trained school counselors using REBT techniques-activating events, belief challenging, and disputation to reduce anger and cognitive distortions. The control group received standard school counseling and later participated in the program. Data analysis involved ANCOVA to compare posttest scores between groups, controlling for baseline values, with effect sizes reported as Cohen's d. Process measures included adherence, satisfaction, and teacher observations. Results are anticipated to show significant reductions in anger intensity and frequency and improvements in emotional regulation in the REBT group versus control, with moderate-to-large effects, with gains expected to persist at a brief 3-month follow-up. Implications suggest REBT could be a feasible, scalable component of Nigerian school mental health services, informing policy and practitioner training in Lagos State.

Şiddet, agresyon ve saldırganlık geçmişten günümüze araştırmacıların dikkatini çeken kavramlardır. Bu kavramlar çoğunlukla birbirlerinin yerine ve yanlış kullanılmaktadır. Şiddet, agresyon ve saldırganlık; ilişkileri, türleri açısından kafa karışıklığına neden olmaktadır. Bu kavramsal kargaşanın yanı sıra, psikolojik bozukluklar, özelinde de duygu durum bozuklukları ile ilişkisi konusunda tartışmalar hala devam etmekte ve araştırmacılar çeşitli bulgular elde etmektedirler. Bazı görüşler psikolojik bozukluğu olan kişilerin saldırgan olduğu yönünde veri sunarken bazıları ise psikolojik bozuklukların şiddet ve saldırganlık için bir kanıt oluşturmadığını göstermektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, duygu durum ve duygu durumun şiddet ile ilişkisini araştıran güncel araştırmaları derlemek ve verileri sunmaktır. Bu makalede birçok farklı örneklem grubuyla yapılmış olan araştırmalar incelenmiştir. İncelenen bu makaleler sonucunda şiddet davranışını göstermede duygu durum bozukluğu yaşayan kişilerin sahip oldukları eş tanıların ve hastalığın yakın geçmişte başlamasının, şiddet davranışını artıran önemli faktörler arasında olduğunu göstermektedir. Tüm bunlara ek olarak şiddet davranışı ile madde ve alkol bağımlılığının anlamlı ölçüde ilişkili olduğu görülmüştür.

Contemporary leadership discourse has largely prioritised performance, strategy, authority, and influence while neglecting the moral atmosphere leaders create within cultural systems. This paper formally establishes Conscious Leadership Culture Literature as a philosophical framework that reconceptualises leadership as ethical presence and cultural responsibility. At its core is Moral Cultural Leadership, a model positioning authority as a disciplined moral force shaping organisational dignity, psychological climate, and systemic fairness. The paper introduces the 25 Commitments as a structural ethical architecture translating philosophy into principled leadership practice. Together, the philosophical foundation and the 25 Commitments form a constitutional framework for leadership grounded in awareness, accountability, and moral consequence.

School violence is a critical issue in various education systems, including Timor-Leste, where teachers' choice of physical and verbal aggression undermines the well-being of students and their academic performance. This qualitative case study examined how anger control and zero-violence training can be applied to teaching methods and improve the school climate in basic education schools. Semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions were used to gather data on 32 teachers in a primary school that had already attended the training, and a thematic analysis was used. Four themes were identified, including the difficulty of teachers regulating their emotions and dealing with the aggression of students, adopting restorative and student-centred approaches, attitude and professional identity changes, and suggestions on how to maintain the effects of training. The results indicate that training improved the emotional awareness of teachers and decreased the use of punitive discipline, but success would be greater in the long term with systemic support from schools and parents. The study helps address the existing gap in the literature on teacher emotional competencies in Timor-Leste. It proposes that anger management and zero-violence training be incorporated into pre-service and in-service teacher training as a way of ensuring safe, supportive, and inclusive classrooms.

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of peer guidance strategies to improved emotional literacy in adolescents. The study used an experimental research type with two groups, pretest-posttest, with control group design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and random assignment. The experimental group and the control group each consisted of two groups, each consisting of five participants. The study used an emotional literacy questionnaire to determine the level of emotional literacy in adolescents. The data analysis technique used the Mann Whitney U Test. The study results showed that the story writing technique is effective in improving adolescents&#39; emotional literacy. Counselors can use study results to help adolescents improve emotional literacy through peer guidance strategies.

AIM: To identify factors associated with trait anger and anger expression style in adolescents with chronic disease. METHODS: The study was included 68 adolescents aged between 10-19 years, who were admitted to the clinic in a university hospital in 2008 after being diagnosed with diabetes, leukemia and chronic kidney failure. As a means of pooling data, “Demographic Questionnaire” and “The State-Trait Anger Scale” were used. RESULTS: Of 68 adolescents participating into the research, 33 were early adolescents (48.5%), 23 were middle adolescents (33.8%) and 12 were late adolescents (17.6%). Mean scores were calculated as 23.1±7.2 for trait anger, as 15.9±5.1 for anger kept-in, as 17.0±5.8 for anger kept-out, and as 19.6±5.9 for anger control. There were significant relationships between the anger status of adolescents, and attitude of parent, employment of the adolescent, knowledge level of the adolescents about the treatment of their diseases and school performance level.
