This paper argues that the healing ministry of Yahusha is not primarily a series of compassion demonstrations or power exhibitions. It is a sequence of multi-layer covenant restoration events, each of which simultaneously activates multiple structural layers of the Seven-Layer Covenant Architecture: Temple Pattern, Moedim Cycle, Sinai Lawsuit, Eden Arc, Jubilee Release Pattern, Covenant Pulse Mathematics, and Codex Axes.

The paper establishes this claim in four moves. First, it shows that the Levitical purity system that classified the conditions Yahusha healed was itself a covenant-architectural system, not a mere hygienic or religious code. Second, it analyzes seven specific healing accounts through all seven architectural layers simultaneously, demonstrating that each healing is a complete multi-layer covenant transaction. Third, it addresses the Sabbath healings specifically, arguing that they are Moedim-layer declarations rather than Sabbath violations. Fourth, it draws the Christological implication: the healing accounts are not merely evidence of Yahusha's power but evidence of his direct operational access to the covenant architecture itself.

The paper concludes that no prior reading framework has produced this level of structural analysis of the healing accounts because no prior framework possessed the multi-layer covenant architecture required to see what the accounts are actually doing.

The "Silent Savior Fallacy" is the mistaken idea that if Jesus did not explicitly mention a sin in the Gospels, then that sin cannot be considered sinful. This article argues that such reasoning is flawed because it misunderstands how the Gospels function, how Jesus relates to the Old Testament, and how Scripture presents moral truth as a whole. It shows that the issue is not only sexual immorality, but a broader attitude toward all sin, including pride, greed, hypocrisy, lust, anger, deceit, and selfrighteousness. By reading Jesus in his proper Jewish and biblical context, the article demonstrates that His silence on a specific issue does not imply approval. Instead, Jesus consistently affirms God's moral order, exposes sin at the level of the heart, and calls all people to repentance, obedience, and faith.

This paper presents a constraint-based classification framework for biblical symbolism derived from the covenant architecture of the Hebrew Scriptures. Its central claim is that biblical symbols are not flexible metaphors whose meaning shifts with reader context or interpretive tradition. They are covenant-legal instruments whose functions are established at their first canonical establishment: the first load-bearing occurrence in which the covenant architecture explicitly assigns a function that all subsequent texts demonstrably inherit. That established function is then carried consistently across Torah, Prophets, Writings, Gospels, and Apostolic literature. The framework identifies eight symbol categories, each governed by a formal principle: Authority and Governance, Communication and Decree, Presence and Divine Interaction, People and Covenant Status, Judgment and Transition, Movement and Change, Deception and False Systems, and Time and Completion Markers. Five interpretive rules govern all symbol reading. The paper demonstrates the framework across five literary genres and presents the implications of constraint-based symbolism for biblical interpretation. The paper is accompanied by a complete Core Symbol Masterlist as an appendix, providing a reference table of all primary symbols, their covenant functions, canonical establishment texts, and interpretive notes.

The analysis contrasts the Sanhedrin’s hostile response to truth with examples of religious resistance, marginalization, and suppression of biblical correction. This paper examines the essential relationship between spiritual knowledge and godly love through an exegetical and pastoral analysis of 1 Corinthians 8, with supporting attention to Romans 14–15, Philippians 1:9–10, Hosea 4:6, and John 4:24. Using Paul’s discussion of meat offered to idols as the controlling case study, the paper argues that Christian ethical judgment cannot always be reduced to rigid categories of inherently right or wrong conduct, but must often account for circumstance, conscience, spiritual maturity, and the effect of one believer’s liberty upon another. The author contends that Paul does not depreciate knowledge itself, since biblical knowledge is necessary, liberating, and commanded; rather, Paul warns against knowledge severed from charity, which produces arrogance, harshness, and spiritual injury. Conversely, the paper also critiques love detached from doctrinal truth, arguing that sentimental or emotionally defined love may lead churches away from scriptural fidelity and spiritual discernment. It is a striking fact of church history that, for nearly two thousand years, the ordination of women and the practice of women teaching men in public worship were rarely questioned among orthodox Christians. It was not until 1969 that this debate emerged forcefully within Western Christianity. This timing is significant, as it coincided with the rapid rise of the women’s liberation movement. Soon after, a wave of books and articles advocating for women in pastoral leadership began to appear.

Among the numerous examples of medieval Latin biblical versification is the anonymous Liber Regum, a rewriting of the four Books of Kings preserved in Paris, BNF, lat. 14758. Research on the text and its sources was greatly aided by Latin databases such as Corpus Corporum, Musisque Deoque, and Brepols' CDS, which proved crucial for identifying textual echoes and reconstructing the "intertextual constellation" linking the Liber to authors active in northern France between the late eleventh and twelfth centuries. A particularly noteworthy case is the relationship between the Liber Regum and Peter Riga's Aurora: the analysis of significant correspondences and patterns of imitation indicates that the anonymous Liber influenced Riga's poem. This evidence allows the Liber Regum to be dated, setting the period 1170/1200 as a terminus ante quem. Overall, the use of these databases demonstrates their effectiveness in situating medieval Latin poetic texts within their compositional context and in supporting their chronological and geographical localization.

This paper examines the theological richness and lexical complexity of the Hebrew term chesed (חֶסֶד), emphasizing its central role in expressing the character, covenant faithfulness, mercy, kindness, goodness, and steadfast love of God. The author argues that chesed resists simple English definition, as evidenced by its wide range of translations across English Bible versions, including “mercy,” “kindness,” “goodness,” and “lovingkindness.” Special attention is given to key Old Testament passages such as Exodus 34:6–7, Psalm 89, Psalm 119, Psalm 136, Psalm 103, and Lamentations 3:22–23, where chesed functions as a primary revelation of God’s nature, covenant loyalty, and sustaining compassion toward His people. The paper further considers possible New Testament conceptual parallels, particularly in Titus 3:4 and the combined theological force of grace and mercy. Ultimately, the study concludes that the fullest expression of God’s chesed is revealed in Jesus Christ, whose redemptive work embodies the mercy, goodness, covenant love, and faithfulness of God in their highest and most personal form.

This is a devotional I gave for the UMJC (Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations) Tikkun Leil Shavuot on zoom. It's one of a series of bible studies that I'm writing to go into the second volume of my book, "Beauty for Ashes: Understanding the Israel-Hamas War" (2024) which offers a biblical metanarrative opposing the Islamist contextualization of the war to justify Hamas' Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel. The second volume will be subtitled "The Way of Light" which will trace the path of the God-fearers who have followed the God of Israel since Pentecost. In the Christian liturgical calendar "Ordinary Time"--Between Easter and Pentecost--parallels the time of the Counting of the Omer between Pesach (Passover) and Shavuot (the Feast of Weeks). This special time is the key to understanding the history of the Age of Salvation. In Volume One I proposed "a generous theology of history" to explain how we ought to understanding world history. In Volume Two I will drill down into world history to trace the ancient faith from the Middle East to the rest of the world.

Rick Howard’s Paul’s Friends and Co-Workers List by Name with Added Comments and Scriptures presents a comprehensive prosopographical study of the individuals associated with the Apostle Paul throughout his epistles and the Book of Acts. The document systematically catalogs more than ninety companions, converts, ministers, supporters, opponents, and fellow laborers connected to Paul’s missionary efforts, while providing exegetical commentary, historical observations, and theological reflections concerning their roles within early Christianity.

The study emphasizes the relational and collaborative nature of Pauline ministry, demonstrating that the spread of early Christianity depended not merely upon apostolic leadership, but upon a broad network of men and women who contributed through hospitality, teaching, financial support, evangelism, pastoral care, sacrificial service, and personal loyalty. Special attention is given to prominent ministry teams such as Priscilla and Aquila, faithful associates such as Timothy, Titus, and Luke, and influential women including Phoebe, Lydia, and Euodia and Syntyche. The paper also highlights examples of doctrinal failure and apostasy, particularly through discussions of figures such as Demas, Hymenaeus, and Alexander the Coppersmith.

Jeff C. Barger’s paper, How in the World Did This Happen? It Happened Because No One Dared to Say Anything, examines the gradual doctrinal drift of churches from a historically Baptist “local church only” ecclesiology toward a blended universal-local church position. The author argues that such transitions rarely occur abruptly, but instead emerge incrementally through theological accommodation, leadership influence, emotionalized worship practices, and the progressive weakening of biblical conviction within congregational life.

Central to the paper is the contention that New Testament ecclesiology defines the church exclusively as a local, visible assembly of scripturally baptized believers gathered in covenant obedience to Christ. The author critiques the adoption of a universal church framework, asserting that it minimizes doctrinal distinctions concerning baptism, church authority, and scriptural accountability. Particular emphasis is placed upon how emotional pressures, desires for inclusivity, and resistance to perceived doctrinal narrowness can motivate ecclesiological compromise.

Barger contends that many spiritually discerning members recognize problematic developments but fail to voice opposition, thereby allowing unscriptural teachings and practices to become institutionalized. The paper concludes by emphasizing the responsibility of church members to hold pastors and teachers accountable to Scripture and warns that churches unwilling to confront doctrinal compromise may eventually cross a “line of no return” from which recovery becomes increasingly unlikely.

In the frenzy of technological advances and the massive capabilities of social media, it turns out that there is a dangerous space that this generation often doesn't realize, namely loneliness. Since the discovery of internet technology, lonely sufferers have experienced a spike among digital people. They often feel lonely and seemingly asymptomatic. If pastoral stewardship does not address this problem, the digital generation is bound to feel lonely and depressed, which can lead to suicide. They experience a decreased quality of life despite being in the church and parental care. The question is, what are the causes and effects of this problem of loneliness? What practical steps can shepherds take? And what kind of pastoral strategy is there to tackle the loneliness epidemic ravaging the digital generation? The purpose of this study is [1] to describe the causes and adverse effects of loneliness problems. [2] Describe simply practical steps a shepherd can take in dealing with loneliness. [3] Describe her pastoral and stewardship strategies that a solution to the problem of loneliness among this digital generation. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) for journal papers published in 2016-2021. Contribution of this research ; [1] For spiritual practitioners and educators who are directly related to recovery from the loneliness of the digital generation, [2] as a reference for pastoral teams and pastoral candidates in local church stewardship, [3] practical steps for parents in overcoming loneliness problems digital child they experienced.

We were made to worship. This is not simply a religious idea; it speaks to the very foundation of human existence. Every person, whether they acknowledge God or not, arranges their life around something they treasure most, something they trust to give life meaning and security. This is what the Bible calls the heart, and whatever captures the heart is, in reality, what a person worships.

The real question is not whether you will worship, but whom you will worship. The God of the Bible does not present worship as just one option among many. He commands it because he alone is worthy, and because we become like whatever we worship. To worship the living God in spirit and truth is to be shaped by Him, to be drawn out of us and into something far greater and more beautiful than anything the world can offer.

Drawing from key passages in Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, 2 Thessalonians, Revelation, and related texts, the study identifies recurring themes of self-exaltation, blasphemy, deception, unlawful ambition, pride, counterfeit righteousness, and ultimate divine judgment. The paper argues that the Antichrist does not emerge independently, but rather operates according to “the working of Satan,” embodying the same rebellious disposition and opposition to the authority of God. The paper further emphasizes the shared destiny of both Satan and the Antichrist—their destruction and eternal judgment in the lake of fire—thereby reinforcing the biblical theme of divine sovereignty and ultimate justice over all evil powers.

Along with the presence of the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, the quality of standard and religious human civilization has eroded. Verbal communication, civilized human communities, and spiritual life turn to virtual space, virtual communication, and applications. This paper aims to explain the role of theologians in providing the basis for the humanization of biblical civilization in the era of society 5.0. The research method with a qualitative approach and data collection with a literature study. The construction is that theologians play a part in fundamental biblical teaching and practice on humanizing civilization and building full human development locally and globally. The conclusion is that the role and steps of the theologian have a significant influence on the fundamental teaching of biblical human civilization amid a new civilization in the era of society 5.0 by maximizing the mix of methods in service and preaching.

The article analyzes the iconography of small-scale art objects from the Predynastic and Early Dynastic periods as a source for understanding the principles behind the formation of Ancient Egypt’s calendar-astronomical system. The research aims to identify the connection between the subjects found in small-scale art (knife handles, combs, palettes) and early concepts of the celestial sphere and festive culture. The author argues that hunting and battle scenes, as well as sequential rows of animals on these objects, served as markers of the annual cycle: they recorded the vernal equinox, the heliacal rising of Sirius, the summer solstice, and the Nile inundation. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the revelation and decoding of calendar-astronomical meanings integrated into the Ancient Egyptian visual canon of the preliterate period. The study establishes that the development of iconography (themes of hunting, battles, and animal predation scenes) was based on a strict synchronization of earthly rituals with observations of the constellations Taurus, Leo, Canis Major, and Orion. In the Archaic era, the ruler’s triumph over the forces of chaos was interpreted as a guarantee of maintaining cosmic order and the timely arrival of the flood. Comparing these subjects with the astral motifs of the Pyramid Texts, the Coffin Texts, and New Kingdom star maps allows these archaic monuments to be viewed as the oldest astronomical documents in Egyptian history.

This paper examines the foundational Old Testament framework necessary for a comprehensive understanding of Acts chapter 2 and the Pentecost event. Rather than approaching Acts 2 exclusively through a New Testament lens, the study argues that the theological, covenantal, and prophetic foundations of Pentecost are deeply rooted in the Hebrew Scriptures, particularly in the prophetic literature concerning the outpouring of the Spirit and the establishment of the New Covenant.

The paper demonstrates that the Apostle Peter’s sermon in Acts 2 is fundamentally interpretive and exegetical in nature, being constructed upon major Old Testament texts including Joel 2:28–32, Psalm 16:8–11, and Psalm 110:1. These passages collectively establish the prophetic expectation of the Messiah’s resurrection, exaltation, and the eschatological outpouring of the Spirit. Furthermore, the study identifies a broad network of interconnected Old Testament passages from Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Joel, and Malachi that collectively unify the themes of Spirit outpouring, covenant renewal, national restoration, and redemptive fulfillment.

Special attention is given to the theological relationship between Israel and the Church within redemptive history. The paper proposes that Pentecost functioned as an arrabon event—an earnest, guarantee, or partial fulfillment—wherein the blessings promised to Israel were inaugurated within the Church while awaiting their ultimate consummation in the future restoration and regeneration of national Israel at the return of Christ. This “already/not yet” framework provides an interpretive bridge between Old Testament prophecy, the Gospel narratives, Acts 2, and Paul’s olive tree imagery in Romans 11.

Ultimately, the paper contends that Acts 2 cannot be fully understood apart from its Old Testament foundations and covenantal context. By tracing the continuity between the prophetic promises to Israel and their inaugurated fulfillment at Pentecost, the study highlights the unified progression of God’s redemptive program through the Spirit, the New Covenant, the Church, and the future restoration of Israel.

Il presente saggio prova a rintracciare una forma embrionale di Esistenzialismo nella vita e nell'arte di Vittorio Alfieri, sia ricostruendone la figura storica e poetica, sia focalizzandosi sul capolavoro del 1782. A dispetto della cruda degenerazione politica, religiosa e sociale che caratterizzano il Saul biblico (con cui pure viene operato un confronto), quello alfieriano vive la sofferenza interiore provocata dalla mancata accettazione di se stesso e della realtà. Nel "Saul" Alfieri opera una personale catarsi sfuggendo alla propria distruzione e sopravvivendo al suo personaggio più amato, profilato come suo alter. L'"esistenzialismo alfieriano" non sarebbe quindi il frutto di una maturata riflessione filosofica, ma la testimonianza di un'esperienza drammatica in cui la vita interiore mostra il suo volto di lotta infinita tra opposti che cercano una sintesi.

This paper examines the historical and theological foundations of water baptism and Spirit baptism within the Old Testament, arguing that both doctrines possess substantial antecedent revelation prior to their fuller manifestation within the New Testament era. Contrary to the common assumption that baptismal concepts originated exclusively within the apostolic period, the study demonstrates that the foundational imagery, language, ceremonial patterns, and prophetic expectations associated with both water and Spirit baptism are deeply rooted within the Hebrew Scriptures.

The paper first explores the concept of mikvah—the ceremonial whole-body washing associated with priestly consecration and purification rituals in the Mosaic system. Special attention is given to Leviticus 8:6–35, wherein Aaron and his sons underwent ritual washing and consecration prior to entering priestly service, and to Numbers 19:19, which further establishes purification through water as part of covenantal ceremonial cleansing. The author argues that these Old Testament purification rites serve as typological and theological precedents for New Testament water baptism, particularly in relation to the believer’s entrance into the corporate assembly (ekklesia) and participation in a “holy priesthood” and “royal priesthood” as described in 1 Peter 2:5 and 2:9.

The paper ultimately concludes that both water baptism and Spirit baptism are best understood within a unified biblical-theological framework in which Old Testament typology, prophetic expectation, and New Testament fulfillment together reveal the continuity of God’s redemptive purposes concerning consecration, empowerment, covenant identity, and participation within the people of God.

A key gap concerns how gender discourses can be traced across the Hebrew Bible's reception history-including translations and interpretive traditions-and how they shape interpretation and theology.
