What a week! It’s been an busy week for Quminex. My co-founder Alan Baxter and I just wrapped up a week with QAI Ventures having super interesting mentor sessions, and now I am just about to board a flight again. Am Dienstag, den 02.06. haben wir unser Matching Event II 2026 veranstaltet und konnten die Räumlichkeiten der Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein (IB.SH) nutzen. Und ehrlich gesagt: Die StartUps haben uns diesmal wirklich unter Druck gesetzt. 🙌 Normalerweise pitchen bei uns 6 Teams. Diesmal haben wir eine Ausnahme gemacht. 7 StartUps haben es auf die Bühne geschafft – weil wir schlichtweg nicht in der Lage waren, noch weiter auszusortieren. Und das ist ein gutes Zeichen. Von Salz aus Pflanzen über einen digitalen Co-Piloten für LKW-Fahrer, KI-gestützte Industriesicherheit bis hin zur Schatzsuche nach kritischen Mineralien – die Bandbreite an Ideen, Technologien und Gründerpersönlichkeiten war beeindruckend. Jedes Team hatte seine eigene Geschichte, seinen eigenen Markt, seine eigene Überzeugung. Und jedes Team hat Fragen bekommen, die saßen. Die Teams des Abends:  🌿 Plantsalt – Kaliumchlorid aus Pflanzen statt aus Minen, für salzreduzierte Lebensmittel 🚛 cargovibe – digitaler Co-Pilot für LKW-Fahrer 🔬 Cellbox Solutions– Transport lebender Zellen unter physiologischen Bedingungen für neue Zelltherapien 🤖 SyncroBot – KI-Software für mobile Lager- und Transportroboter ohne komplexe IT-Integration 💚 Spring Longevity – KI-gestützter Longevity-Companion für Menschen 60+ 👁️ intuvis ai – bestehende Überwachungskameras werden zu KI-basierten Echtzeit-Sicherheitssystemen ⛏️ Quminex – KI und Geologie-Expertise für die Entdeckung kritischer Mineralvorkommen Was uns besonders gefreut hat: Der Raum war voll, viele Gäste haben es zu unserem Event geschafft. Die Gespräche danach beim Get Together waren lebendig. Man hat gemerkt, dass hier Menschen zusammenkommen, die wirklich etwas bewegen wollen – auf beiden Seiten des Tisches. Quminex is excited to be part of Batch 5 with QAI Ventures! Over the past two weeks, Taha Rouabah and I had the opportunity to spend time in beautiful Basel as part of the QAI Venture Acceleration Program.
