Two Presence Switzerland projects have recently received international recognition. We are proud that two of our recent platforms showcasing Switzerland abroad have been honoured with major international awards. 🏆 Swiss Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka received the iF Design Award 2026, one of the world's most prestigious design awards. 🏆 Maison Suisse Paris, Switzerland's official hospitality house during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, received the German Brand Award 2026 in the Brand Communication, Fairs & Exhibitions category, recognising excellence in brand communication and exhibition design. These distinctions reflect the creativity, expertise and dedication of the many architects, designers, agencies, partners and colleagues who contributed to bringing these projects to life. 🇨🇭 Switzerland will take part in Expo 2030 Riyadh! At Expo 2030, taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia under the theme “Foresight for Tomorrow”, the Swiss pavilion will position the country as a trustworthy and high-performing partner in business, innovation and global governance. How is Switzerland 🇨🇭 seen abroad? What shaped global headlines in 2025? Our latest analysis shows a balanced and nuanced picture of Switzerland’s image in international media. No single narrative dominated, coverage ranged from somewhat critical to clearly positive depending on the topic. Two developments drew particular attention worldwide. The debate around exceptionally high US tariffs on Swiss imports generated months of coverage, portraying Switzerland both as economically exposed and as a pragmatic problem-solver. The Blatten landslide also attracted significant international media attention. Despite these moments of scrutiny, Switzerland’s reputation remains very strong. In the Anholt Nation Brands Index, a global survey measuring how countries are perceived by the public abroad, Switzerland ranked among the five best-rated nations worldwide, with particularly high scores for governance, political stability and quality of life. The House of Switzerland in #MilanoCortina2026 will close its doors on Sunday, following the end of the Games.
