I am interested in the application of computational techniques to challenges in inter-disciplinary domains. I believe this holds immense potential for paving the way forward towards development of new and novel approaches to tackling existing issues.
My work in the Human Brain Project (HBP/EBRAINS) involved the design and development of a model validation framework for neuroscience, as well as other tools to assist reproducible science. I have collaborated closely with several research groups, and developed validation test suites focusing on systematic assessment and benchmarking of models developed via their existing workflows.
On the modeling front, I am adept with the NEURON simulator, and have practical knowledge of others such as Brian2, NEST and PyNN. I am proficient in Python, and also have experience with several other programming/scripting languages. I have been the lead designer & developer for various web-based tools, and therefore have ample experience with web development.
