  • Solar panels are designed to generate power for decades - but their output gradually declines over time. This is known as module degradation. The rate of degradation can be influenced by factors such as: 👉 Module technology 👉 Heat and humidity 👉 Installation quality 👉 System design and maintenance That’s why evaluating a solar project should go beyond its Day 1 generation. The more important question is: How will the system perform over its entire operating life? At PowerMore, we design C&I solar projects with long-term performance and project economics in mind. #CommercialSolar #IndustrialSolar #SolarEPC #SolarForBusiness #PowerMore #SolarMaintenance

  • You’ve installed the solar plant. Now who’s maintaining it? A solar AMC isn’t just a contract for cleaning your panels. It’s about regular inspections, preventive maintenance, monitoring plant performance, identifying faults and fixing issues before they turn into bigger problems. Because even a small issue - dust accumulation, a loose connection, inverter fault or abnormal generation - can affect your plant’s performance. And if no one is monitoring it regularly, you may only notice when the savings start falling. That’s why a good solar AMC is about protecting the performance of your solar investment over the long term. Before you sign off on your solar installation, ask one more question: “What happens after commissioning?” At PowerMore, we help businesses plan for what comes after installation too - with solar maintenance and AMC support focused on keeping your plant performing. Because installing solar is only the beginning. Keeping it performing is what protects your returns. • The true measure of a solar project isn't the day it's commissioned. It's the confidence it gives the customer long after installation. We're proud to share the experience of Mehra Mac Industries following the successful commissioning of their 100 kW rooftop solar project. At PowerMore, every project begins with understanding the customer's energy requirements and ends with delivering a solution engineered for long-term performance. Thank you, Mehra Mac Industries, for your trust and partnership. We look forward to helping more businesses make informed, long-term energy decisions. #CustomerTestimonial #CommercialSolar #IndustrialSolar #SolarProjects #PowerMore

  • Project Spotlight 📍 Virsa Knits Every commercial solar project presents a unique set of engineering and operational considerations. From understanding the site's energy consumption to designing a system that delivers long-term performance, every decision matters. We're proud to add another successful project to our growing portfolio and thank Virsa Knits for trusting PowerMore as their solar partner. Looking forward to enabling more businesses to make the transition to reliable, cost-effective solar energy. #CommercialSolar #IndustrialSolar #SolarEPC #PowerMore

  • Bifacial solar modules can generate electricity from both sides of the panel. But the additional energy yield is not automatic. The actual bifacial gain depends on factors such as: ➡️Surface reflectivity ➡️Panel height ➡️Row spacing ➡️Shading ➡️Site layout and system design A highly reflective surface and well-designed layout can help the rear side receive more reflected sunlight. But if the site conditions are not suitable, the additional gain may be limited. So the question isn't simply: “Are bifacial modules better?” It's: “Will bifacial technology deliver better returns for this specific project?” At PowerMore, we evaluate the site, system design, and project economics before selecting the right solar technology. The right technology is the one that performs best for your project. #Powermore #SolarPanels #BifacialSolarPanels #RenewableEnergy

  • On-grid solar is easy. Power cuts are where the real conversation begins. For a factory or commercial facility, installing solar doesn't automatically answer one important question: What happens when the grid goes down? There are two common approaches 1. Solar + DG Sync 👉🏻 A practical solution when power cuts are relatively short. Your solar system can work alongside the DG, helping reduce diesel consumption during backup operation. 2. Solar + BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) 👉🏻 A stronger option when backup requirements are longer or when a business wants to reduce its dependence on diesel over the long term. But choosing between DG Sync vs BESS isn't a one-size-fits-all decision. It depends on: ➡️ Power-cut frequency and duration ➡️ Load profile ➡️ Day vs night consumption ➡️ Existing DG capacity ➡️ Solar generation ➡️ Backup requirements ➡️ Long-term energy strategy At Powermore, we don't recommend DG Sync or BESS simply because one is the latest technology. We look at the site, understand the energy requirement, and then recommend what makes commercial and operational sense. If you're evaluating industrial solar, rooftop solar, solar + DG sync, or solar battery storage for your factory or commercial facility — let's discuss what would work for your business. #SolarEnergy #IndustrialSolar #CommercialSolar #SolarEPC #OnGridSolar #DGSync #BESS #BatteryEnergyStorage #EnergyStorage #SolarForFactories #SolarForBusiness #RooftopSolar #RenewableEnergy #EnergyManagement #DieselGenerator #SolarIndia #IndustrialEnergy #Powermore

  • Your solar panels may be capable of producing more power than your inverter can convert. When the DC output from the panels exceeds the inverter's AC capacity, the inverter reaches its maximum output limit. The excess potential generation is known as clipping loss. But clipping isn't necessarily a problem. A carefully designed DC/AC ratio can help improve overall annual generation, even if some clipping occurs during periods of peak solar production. The goal isn't to eliminate clipping completely. The goal is to find the right balance between panel capacity, inverter capacity, expected generation, and project economics. At PowerMore, we engineer solar systems around the performance and economics of the specific project. #SolarEngineering #CommercialSolar #SolarEPC #SolarTechnology #SolarIndia #RenewableEnergy #PowerMore

  • We have a 30,000 sq. ft. roof. How much solar can we install? It’s one of the most common questions we receive from industrial businesses. The answer is rarely as simple as multiplying roof area by a number. A solar plant’s capacity depends on several engineering considerations, including: 👉 Usable roof layout 👉 Shadow-free area 👉 Structural loading capacity 👉 Equipment placement 👉 Mandatory safety clearances This is why two factories with nearly identical roof sizes can require completely different solar system designs. We’ve created this visual guide to help businesses understand the approximate roof area required for different commercial solar plant capacities and why a professional site assessment is always the final step. If you’re evaluating rooftop solar for your factory or warehouse, this carousel will give you a practical starting point. Question for facility managers and business owners: What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced while evaluating rooftop solar - roof space, structural concerns, budget, or approvals? Let’s discuss in the comments. #CommercialSolar #IndustrialSolar #SolarEnergy #Manufacturing #Factories #EnergyManagement #RenewableEnergy #PowerMore

  • A solar plant’s performance cannot be measured by generation alone. Two plants can generate the same amount of electricity and still have very different performance levels, depending on: 👉their capacity, 👉the solar energy available, 👉and how consistently they remain operational. That’s why metrics like Specific Yield, Performance Ratio, and Plant Availability matter. They help answer the questions that generation data alone cannot: ⚡How much energy is the plant generating per kW? ⚡How efficiently is it converting available sunlight? ⚡How often is the plant actually operational? Because the real value of a solar plant lies not just in how much power it generates, but in how efficiently and consistently it performs. • A solar proposal can look complete and still leave important questions unanswered. For a commercial or industrial business, choosing an EPC is not just about comparing the final price. It is about understanding what is being proposed: 👉 What technology is being used? 👉 How has the system been designed? 👉 What components are being installed? 👉 How is the plant being protected? 👉 What happens after commissioning? These details often determine the difference between a solar plant that simply gets installed and one that is designed to perform over the long term. That is why, before signing a solar EPC proposal, asking the right questions matters. At PowerMore we believe a business should not need to be an engineer to understand what it is investing in. A good proposal should make the important decisions clear. #CommercialSolar #IndustrialSolar #SolarEPC #SolarForBusiness #PowerMore
