The aim of this study was to evaluate HPA axis suppression, efficacy, and safety of clobetasol propionate (0.025%, formulation 5 and 13) versus currently marketed 0.05% cream in Indian patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis. Methods: In this phase 2a investigator-blinded study, patients aged C 18 years with moderateto-severe psoriasis were randomized 1:1:1 to receive clobetasol propionate 0.025% formulation 5, or 13, or 0.05% cream; twice daily for 28 days. Safety endpoints included adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) test results at day 28 (primary), and local tolerability at each visit (burning/stinging/pruritus, secondary). Efficacy endpoints included Psoriasis Global Assessment (PGA) score. Results: Overall, 88 patients received clobetasol propionate 0.025% formulation 5 and 13 (n = 29 for both) and 0.05% cream (n = 30). At day 28, the proportion of patients with an abnormal ACTH stimulation test (cortisol levels B 18 lg/dl) was numerically lower in 0.025% formulations: 5 (20.7%) and 13 (17.2%) compared with 0.05% cream (30.0%), (p = 0.320). Decrease in burning/stinging /pruritus scores were comparable in all treatment groups and PGA success rates were higher with 0.025% formulations: 5 (38.9%) and 13 (36.8%) compared with 0.05% cream (30.8%). Conclusion: Clobetasol propionate 0.025% could be an effective treatment for moderate-tosevere psoriasis compared with 0.05% cream,

Rig Veda is known as the book of knowledge. This knowledge deals with facts, measurement, and evidence. It is also the Sanathan Dharma = Everlasting or Ancient Knowledge of Eternal Nature. The composed Sooktha’s of this ancient manuscript delves in various aspects of mother nature – Earth, Sky and Space. Reading of Sookthas composed on; “Agni” the deity of Fire, Indra the deity of Rain, Maruths the Rainy Clouds, Vayu deity of Wind, Aditya the Sun, “Rudra” an Earth related deity and other deities. Non-deities like the Asura’s: the Volcano’s viz. Vritha, Pani, Arbudha, Pishachi et al; provides lot of natural and authentic inputs in poetic style.
First: Agni (the deity of Fire); Second: the deity of Rains - Indra (the Rain God): Third: human related deity Rudra: Fourth: Rain related deity Maruth’s (the Rainy Clouds); Rishi VishwaMitra Ghathinaha, creator of “Gayatri Mantra” on “Savitra” (Early Morning Sun) of Autumn, Winter and Spring. Deities like Vayu (Wind), Ushas (Dawn), Ashwins (the Twin’s/Second Monsoon) were also praised in Sooktha’s. There is also mention of eclipse of Aditya (Sun). However, the influence of deities as individual entities is only informative but all the deities are natural and are inter-related.
Second: the deity of Rains - Indra (the Rain God): about fourteen Rishi’s composed the Sooktahas on Indra and combination of Indr(a)gni, Indra-Maruths. In the Ric’s of composed Sookthas; the composer’s praise Indra (the Rain God) as their protector from Asura’s (Volcano’s - Vrita, Vala, Pani, Shambara, Arbhudha.. et.al as Aasuras) in Himalaya and in plains of Sindhu-Saraswathi River System.
Third: human related deity Rudra: five Rishis composed Sooktha’s on Rudra. First indication is, Rudra and his Gana (Group) has come from cloudy mountains (Himalayan Mountains) in to the settlements of Sindhu-Saraswathi River System, North-Western part of Indian sub-continent. Rishi Medhathi Kanwa in his Sooktha RVM1.18.1-9 Devatha: Brahmansapathi: At 1.18.1 he mentions, aged Yajaman (Head of the Settlement) Rishi Kakshivan Oshijaha requests “Brahmansapathe” (Rudra ) to make him a notable Yagnakartha. Rishi Grutsmada composed Ric’s on Rudra, Rig Veda Mandala 2.23.1 mentions: Gananam (Group of people), (Tva) you Ganapathim (Leader of the group) HavaMahe (we invite you); Kavim Kavinaam (Gifted poet of poets) Upama Shravastamam (desirous of praise smilingly listen to) Jyessttha-Rajam Brahmannaam (most excellent leader / Head of the Settlement / Yajaman / Brihaspathi); as Brahmannaspata Aa (you as Hotru/Priest) Nah Shrnnvan-Uutibhih Siida Saadanam (demonstrate your proven resources in realisation of Yagna results). (Rudra as an illustrious convener, protector as Brahmanaspata, conducted Yagna on behalf of “Bramha” here Rishi Kakshivan Oshijaha (Yajaman or Head of the settlement or Prajapathi or Bruhaspathi).
Fourth: Rain related deity Maruth’s (the Rainy Clouds); Six Rishis composed Ric’s on the friendly army of Indra (the Rain God): Origin of Maruths (Rainy Clouds). Sayana Bhasya give indication on the assumption of Adithi – mother of godly deities – benefactors for mankind - viz. Indra (the Rain God), Agni (Fire), Vayu (Wind/Air), Maruths (Rainy Clouds) et.al; Diti – mother of Asura’s (Volcano’s - Non Human Oppressors) – Vrita, Vala, Pani, Shambara, Arbudha, et.al. Diti wanted to have a child to contain Indra (the Rain God), she became pregnant; Indra enters the womb of Diti, using his weapon thunderbolt cuts the embryo in to seven pieces and further in to 49 pieces, (49 types of clouds). Fifth Deity Adithya (Surya/Sun) and Vishnu (Universe), Aho-Ratra (Day and Night): Ric’s mentions; Since Sanath (Ancient Times) many coloured Yuvathi’s (Maidens) born again and again on Diva-Bhuma (Space-Earth) and move graciously one behind the other; Aktha (Night) in Dark Coloured, Ushas (Dawn) in bright radiance move one behind the other.
Rishi VishwaMitra Ghathinaha, creator of “Gayatri Mantra” on “Savitra” (Early Morning Sun) of Autumn, Winter and Spring. GAYATRI MANTRA, Rishi VishwaMitra Ghathinaha mentions; “Bhu Bhuvaha Sva (Part of AUMkar) Mahaha Tat Savita (Early Morning Sun) Varenyam Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi, Diyo Yonaha Prachodayath; meaning that liberal one, who inspires us, that Venerable “Savita” (“Early Morning Sun”) his splendour, we meditate upon. The Hiranya (Golden Colour) Splendour of rising Sun (Winter/Spring) is being meditated upon. Kannada RVM3 V17 P553-637 gives excellent introduction on Savaita (Early Morning Sun).
Deities like Vayu (Wind), Ushas (Dawn), Ashwins (the Twin’s OR Second Monsoon) were also praised in Sooktha’s. There is also mention of eclipse of Aditya (Sun). However, the influence of deities as individual entities is only informative but all the deities are natural and are inter-related.
My experience in reading, understanding and noting of important points mentioned in Rig Veda Mandala One, Two & Three is; the required information on deities do not appear at one place as the modern day researchers desire. Each Rig Veda Sooktha Composer put forward his; most likely praise or request or need or describe a particular Deity (God); which is explained in summary and general summary by the Bhashyakar’s, other interpreters, English translations and other links. The supporting Bhashya and links must be read and re-read to feel the actual meaning of composed Ric’s. In all fronts, all mandala’s of Rig Veda requires in depth study to un-earth the hidden scientific, and technical treasure.
