In this Context, Employer Branding has been a strategic reaction towards attracting prospective employees and retaining them, through managing ‘Employee Value Proposition’ (EVP). This study aimed to develop a conceptual model to show how EVP contributes to employees’ Intention to Retention (IR) through Employer Brand Equity (EBE) in leading empirical research. A targeted literature review was used as the methodology. As findings, this study established relationships between the EVP and the EBE, EBE, and IR, and EVP and IR, with the consideration of demographic factors as moderators. The findings implicate in conducting empirical research that contributes to explain reasons for higher-level employee turnover and find effective solutions. It is recommended to implement solutions for higher employee turnover issues in the apparel manufacturing sector in Sri Lanka, not just based on monetary rewards, but the overall value proposition, that employees expect, based on scientific research.

To measure such skills, eleven different soft skill evaluation methods were found out. Another eight problems and challenges in the soft skills evaluation were also identified. As implications, Researchers highlighted tendencies to recognise soft skills training, increasing emphasising on soft skills evaluations and perceived risk of hindering the soft skills evaluation process due to the challenges, can be sated. Therefore, it is recommended to strategically approach for soft skills training as a serious HRM agenda. Finally, the model, developed can be used as a framework for IT related competency development, and educating and training IT professionals at institutional levels.

Following trade literature, a conventional export demand equation is specified for jute export demand of Bangladesh. GDP of trade partner country and Export Unit Value Index (EVI) of Bangladesh are considered as income and price variables respectively. For estimating purposes we only considered five top countries, USA, UK, Belgium, Germany and Australia, where Bangladesh exports more. The regression result shows that income of USA and Australia are only significant determinant of Bangladeshi jute exports. Moreover, export price is also not found significant determinant in case of Bangladeshi jute goods export. Policy implication of these findings are Bangladeshi exporters should not rely on to the traditional markets only. Government should come forward and disseminate information to exporters about market, barriers to be faced and advantages in a particular market.

An in-depth literature review was conducted of the current COVID-19 crisis, along with similar pandemics in recent history, and the effect of such events on global employment, unemployment, and economic activities. The research focus is primarily on the impact of COVID-19 from January to May 2020 , i.e. the first months of global awareness of the threat posed by the virus In January 2020, the increasing number of COVID-19 infections resulted in orders to stay-at-home or observe social and physical distancing restrictions, which subsequently led to the shutdown of industrial production, financial markets, corporate offices, businesses, events, and different operation management activities in order to minimize the transmission of the virus. The findings suggest that the increasing number of lockdowns and restrictions on national and international travel by air, land, or sea, as well as the shutdown of production, operation, and marketing activities jeopardized and even collapsed some economic sectors and systems. Consequently, worldwide unemployment increased drastically, in regions like the United States, Europe, and the Arab States. A sudden rise in worker migration further aggravated the situation and placed an additional burden on state government entities. It is likely that it will take years for the global economy to recover from the economic and employment challenges brought about by this crisis.

Monthly data has been collected for 11 years from January 2007 to December 2017 for all the variables considered; ASPI, nominal exchange rate (EXR), total imports (IMP), 3-months T-Bill rate (TBR) and wholesale price index (WPI). Unit root test confirmed all the variables are not stationary at levels thus integrated of order one. Granger causality test resulted with one bidirectional causality between IMP and ASPI variables at 5% level of significance. Despite of having strong correlation with ASPI, EXR and TBR variables indicate unidirectional relationships with the share market index of Sri Lanka. However, availability of bidirectional causal relations violates the efficient market hypothesis assumed by Fama (1970) since it enables investors to develop profitable trading rules to predict future stock prices. Therefore, it is concluded that Sri Lankan stock market fails to maintain informational efficiency as observed by many of the related studies. Mainly, the focus is upon the announcement and the disclosure of the results of these cost management tools in the financial reports. Within the current work, we tried to discriminate between the earlier attempts, which aimed at achieving some sorts of convergence between the cost management tools and the financial accounting and our objective during the current work, either to achieve the approval or the inclusion within the financial reports, i.e. the disclosure of the results of applying the cost management tools, either compulsory or amendatory disclosure. The convergence process has shown a little bit of cooperation, but after all, nothing was positively achieved. The idea of the current work is mostly suggested from the concern that cost accounting and managerial accounting were modified and unionized their objectives under the new approach, the cost management approach. Different attempts were drawn currently, to, at least find a bridge to connect cost management and financial accounting, either through the main objective of this work or according to the nature of the different cost tools. Despite the different promising attempts drawn within this work, the problem and objective of the current work still too large, and further work still required.

Perception is that a country's health infrastructure greatly impacts its ability to contain the spread of various diseases. But is it so? This study aims to identify the role of health infrastructure in creating a variation in the impact of the Coronavirus across countries. The main objective of our study is to identify any relations between the pandemic related fatality rate and health infrastructure of a country as the usual stigma is. Methodology: In this study, a few key components of health infrastructure were identified and a suitable criterion for the selection of 12 nations for this study was followed. The data metrics, such as population density, deaths, cases, hospital beds, nurses, physicians, tests and current expenditure on health, were extrapolated through linear regression and an aggregate score of the health infrastructure of each country was arrived at using a formula based on WHO standards of a particular data metrics. The countries were grouped into different categories through the use of a matrix on basis of their respective scores and case-fatality rates. Results: Results show that highly developed countries like the USA and Australia have very good health infrastructures whereas Russia, though not so developed, stands amongst them in terms of infrastructure. On the other hand, India, which is still a developing country, has a poor infrastructure. All the European nations, studied here, have a moderate infrastructure. There is no definite relationship of this classification on the corona-case-fatality rate. India, apart from having poor infrastructure, has a lower fatality rate and Canada, despite great infrastructure has a high fatality rate. Conclusion: All the analysis points towards the stigma being wrong and tells us that there is no whatsoever correlation between Health infrastructure and Corona fatality rate. Also, the scope of this study limits itself to comparative analysis of the data collected and further extrapolated. Health infrastructure is not the sole factor in Abstract Key words: covid-19, coronavirus, health infrastructure, population density, case-fatality rate.

Human Resource Development is concerned with developing skills, knowledge & competencies of the people. It is people-oriented concept. Human Resource Development can be applied both at the national & organizational level. In society, people need competencies such as knowledge, attitude, values, and skills to perform various tasks. Higher degree and quality of performance of tasks requires higher level of knowledge & skills. Without continuous development of competencies in people an organization and also the country is not likely to achieve its goals. Increasing collaborative ventures between India and foreign corporations, the import and export of technology and other resources, and importance for effective partnerships increases the concerns about human resources management and development in other countries.
In the development of the country various organizations play vital role. Among these NGO is one of the important types of organization. NGOs are components of social movements. NGOs works in many different fields, but it is generally associated with those seeking social transformation and improvements in quality of life.
