Method used for manufacturing spherical pressure vessel include explosive forming, Blow forming, Hydro-bulging process, Die forming and Hydroforming process. Spherical vessel for large thickness is difficult to fabricate from single piece die so Spherical vessel fabricated in forming industries are in from two piece of hemispherical shape and multiple pieces having shape of trapezoidal, hexagonal, rectangular petals, which are welded together. The complete procedure for designing is provided by ASME code, In Section 8 Div. 1. When spherical vessel with very large diameter is difficult to manufacturing in two piece. In present work the various literature surveys conducted on design and fabrication of spherical vessel also complete design procedure of spherical vessel and FE simulation of single piece hemispherical dish end is carried out validate with case study given in literature. Also, FE simulation spherical pressure vessel carried out, based on this thinning analysis, further analysis is carried out for different number of petal with and without consideration of crown. Furthermore, we derived the analytical equation for determining the parameter of the crown and petal, and we had done number of analysis for different number of petal and crown, By doing FE simulation we can predict the percentage of thinning for vessel which can extremely supportive for spherical vessel manufacturing industries at early stage in calculating thinning allowance of vessel and optimum value of petals for minimizing total cost is obtained.

Exponential growth is taking place in Wi-Fi connections and data transfer now a days. The 5G technology for data transfer, Li-Fi(Light Fidelity) invented by Prof. Harald Haas in 2011 is a wireless networking technology by means of LED light using the principle of Visible Light Communication. Recent research shows that by 2022, 74zetta bytes of data will be generated. As data volume goes up exponentially and generating demand for electromagnetic spectrum, which will cause damage to human as well as animal health. In such situations, Li-Fi performs well to get data quickly and the applications of Li-Fi include hospitals, under water communication, Schools, Military operations, Business and many more. Also the situations where transmission of radio frequencies is hazardous such as chemical plants or petroleum plants, data transmission can be replaced by Li-Fi technology instead of using Wi-Fi. This paper reviews the Li-Fi technology and lists out the advantages and limitations which will help for further research.

In countries like India we generally can find a mixed traffic i.e. a traffic flow constituting of... more In countries like India we generally can find a mixed traffic i.e. a traffic flow constituting of all type of vehicles like cycle, rickshaw, car, bus etc. In Indian cities the share of nonmotorized vehicles at peak hours is too high. In every public transport, mode of transport involves access trips by nonmotorised vehicles at each end. Non-motorised vehicles provide door to door service in congested parts of cities. Thus, non-motorized mode of traffic plays a very important role in meeting travel demand in countries like India. To design a traffic facility it is necessary to understand the behavior of traffic stream. Understanding the behavior of a traffic stream with mixed traffic is quite complex. In this work an attempt has been made to study the effect of non-motorized vehicle on mixed traffic movement. Traffic volume data was collected from Majri Crossing and Zirakur-Patiala Crossing for 30 minutes. This data was then analysed with the help of fundamental diagrams. It was seen that with increase in percentage of non-motorised vehicles the flow, density and speed are adversely affected. Density decreases at a particular flow rate when percentage of non-motorised vehicles increases. It was seen that with increase non-motorised vehicles adversely affects the capacity of the road. Along with this, a study on pattern of vehicular occupancy of nonmotorised vehicles and motorised vehicles was done.

This paper explore the comparative analysis of the efficiencies of ground water produced by k Rec... more This paper explore the comparative analysis of the efficiencies of ground water produced by k Rectangular Solar still by altering different heat absorbing materials such as Glass balls, Gravels, pebbles and Nano-material. The experiment was conducted at Tirunelveli Region (9˚11' N 77˚52' E) , Tamilnadu, South India, getting average rainfall of 1158 mm / year and the average annual temperature is 27.70C. Results exposed the distillated output of the solar still varies with heat absorbing materials. The glass ball gives minimum day yield of 1.120 L /m2/day and the minimum yield efficiency of solar still is 1.7 %. The Nano material (Al2O3) gives more production rate with maximum yield of 2.130 L /m2/day and the maximum yield efficiency of solar still is 4.1 %.

A substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavitybacked slot Ku-band antennas using shorting vias is ... more A substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavitybacked slot Ku-band antennas using shorting vias is presented in this paper. The antenna has wide bandwidth and low profiles. By loading the SIW cavity with shorting vias and substrate value and material is changed. So as a result, a wide bandwidth with cavity-backed slot antenna is achieved. Based on the similar principle, a cavity-backed slot antenna having an even wider bandwidth is also developed. Prototypes of the antenna is measured. With a low profile of 0.03λ (wavelength in free space), the cavity-backed slot antenna design has a bandwidth efficiency of 21.04% and a peak gain of 6.884dBi.

Reading important and interesting news is useful to users, but it is also time consuming since they would have to read all the news items. Therefore, a news classification method for receiving the relevant information quickly seems to be essential. Many researchers have allocated much work to the automation of news classification in order to develop such a text classification system. In a classification process, text analysis is an important preprocessing steps that leads to good features and then to finally building a good classifier. It is obvious that different text types need certain fine tuning to achieve better classification results. In this work, inter and intra news classification has been explored and multi-feature based news classification system has been proposed based on BBC news dataset. Sports category has been selected for intra class classification whereas technology, business, sports, politics and entertainment are used for inter class classification. At first, pre-processing has been carried out in which special characters, numbers etc. has been eradicated from each news sample from different news categories. Further feature extraction has been carried out in which TF-IDF of unigram, bigram and trigram word tokens has been used as concatenated feature vector. For classification different classifiers has been explored but decision tree gives more effective results than the others. Experiment results shows that proposed system gives about 96% accuracy in intra news classification. For inter class classification, about 98% accuracy has been achieved in true identification of tested news dataset.

All the above circuits are implemented using 180nm and 90nm CMOS technology using a supply voltage of 1.8v and 1.1v in TANNER EDA TOOL.

Stuck-at-fault is one of the fault detection technique, the stuck-at-fault is an logical type detection. This paper attempts to reduce the soft error from circuit. The Proposed technique is based on stuck-at-fault in NOR gate for two condition's i.e stuck-at-0 and stuck-at-1 in circuit.

Ethanol and aqueous extract of Tulsi leaves were prepared and the objective of study was to evaluate antibacterial and antifungal activity against bacterial strains Escherichia coli (Gram negative), Staphylococcus aureus(Gram positive) and fungal strain Aspergillus niger. Ethanol and aqueous extracts of different concentrations were prepared and tested against test microorganisms using agar well diffusion method. Phytochemical analysis showed the presence of reducing sugars, saponins, tannins,proteins, flavonoids,phenols. The Zone of inhibition showed efficiency of plant extract.The results showed that E.coli showed highest antibacterial activity of 18mm Zone of inhibition at 9% concentration as compared with activity against S.aureus of 19mm Zone of inhibition at 9% concentration. Antifungal activity against A.niger showed highest Zone of inhibition of 17mm at 9% concentration of aqueous extracts.Antibiotics such as gentamicin, penicillin and antifungicides such as clotrimazole were tested against human pathogens as positive control. The antimicrobial activity of Tulsi leaves extract have been confirmed experimentally. The results therefore confirmed the traditional use of Tulsi for its antimicrobial properties and curing diseases.

To study the load growth rate of both locations by considering the past 3 years load and weather data. Using linear regression analysis target values for next 3 years are determined. Considering the target values, past load data and weather data the load forecasting will be carried out in MALAB using Neural Network (NN) tool This gives load forecasts for next 3 years.

Today's heat exchangers must meet a variety of highly demanding requirements. In terms of performance, they have to ensure maximum heat transfer while keeping size to a minimum. Furthermore, the durability of heat exchangers must be extremely high, providing trouble-free performance throughout its service life at low manufacturing costs. The obvious advantage of an air cooler is that it does not require water, which means that equipment requiring cooling need not be near a supply of cooling water. In addition, the problems associated with treatment and disposal of water have become more costly with government regulations and environmental concerns. The air-cooled heat exchanger provides a means of transferring the heat from the fluid or gas into ambient air, without environmental concerns, or without great ongoing cost. This is made possible by the large variety of aluminum-based materials and product forms that empower system designers and manufacturers with multiple options for significant design improvement and cost reduction. Aluminum, in its various forms, offers clear possibilities to achieve these goals and is also well positioned to meet the challenges of the increasing market demands for cost effective, energy-efficient products and new customized, innovative applications.

The choice of the welding depends on several factors; primarily among them are the compositional range of the material to be welded, the thickness of the base materials and type of current. GTAW is the most popular gas shielding arc welding process used in many industrial fields like Aircraft industries, Farm Machineries etc. Other arc welding processes have limited quality when they are compared to TIG welding processes. However, TIG welding also needs improvements regarding spatter reduction and weld quality of the bead. Shielding gas in TIG welding is desirable for protection of atmospheric contamination. TIG welding process has the possibility of becoming a new welding process giving high quality and provides relatively pollution free. This paper reviews the introduction of GTAW, various gases used in GTAW, Application of GTAW and its process parameters for joining alluminium alloy.

The proposed system is basically developed to implement an agricultural production. This type of system is very useful in agriculture field where we need to spray the pesticide to different crops. This system automatically sense crop of both sides by using ultra-Sonic sensor. Embedded Chip ARM 7 LPC2148is heart of this work and the system and KEIL C software is used to code the algorithm.

Nevertheless, the development of effective image editing tools that effortlessly change the image contents without leaving any visible indications of such alterations makes the genuineness of the digital image suffer from dangerous threats. This has led to demonstration and proposal of various methods to check that the digital images are genuine. To detect the digital image forgery, active methods require pre-embedding of a digital signature or watermark. Generally, all digital cameras can embed such watermark or signature and thus the need of passive methods that depend completely on the features of the digital image were required. There are various passive techniques that exist and meet these difficulties, but there are no satisfactory solutions so far. This paper proposes a passive technique for Image Forgery Detection system that is designed to detect the most common types of forgery like, splicing and copy-move. Image splicing is most common type of forgery, in which forgery is carried out through copying a small part from one base image and pasting to some other image. Whereas in copy-move forgery, copied part is pasted somewhere else in the same base image to either hide or add objects. The proposed system in this work is established on Local Binary Pattern (LBP) and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). Firstly, the chrominance component of original input image is divided up into overlapping blocks. After that, for each block, Local Binary Pattern (LBP) is computed and modified into frequency domain using 2 Dimensional Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT). At last, Standard Deviations are computed for frequency coefficients of all blocks respectively and hence used as the features. A Support Vector Machine (SVM) is utilized for classification. Experimental results of different benchmark image forgery databases demonstrate that the detection accuracy of proposed technique in this work is up to 89%. MATLAB R2014b tool is used to implement the proposed system.

The basic principle of dynamic voltage restorer is to inject the voltage of required magnitude and frequency, so that it can restore the load side voltage to the desired amplitude and waveform. The most occurrence power quality issue "voltages sag and voltage swell" can be mitigated by using custom power device (DVR) which employs compact controller and harmonic filter. The proposed DVR system includes the energy Storage device (Fuel Cell), PWM inverter, harmonic filter. The overall system is developed and Mitigated using in MATLAB Simulink tool.
