Basically, the earliest available teachings of the Buddha are to be found in Pli literature and belong to the school of Therav da Buddhism. We can define the term ‘elephant’ in Pli such as “ Hatthi -a male elephant, Hatth n -a female elephant”respectively”. In Buddhism, a white elephant is considered particularly auspicious, and is associated with the birth of the Buddha. The Vinaya Laws are similar in certain respects to other ecclesiastical law, but it differs fundamentally in itsstructure, jurisprudence and application from the latter. The laws of Vinaya are more distinct and better codified than any other the contemporary law-codes. The Buddhist Vinaya is based on celibacy, moral precepts and doctrinal ideals. The Buddha not only codified the ascetic principles but also improved them in changing its aim, scope and nature. Elephant's forms are an important part of Hindu Buddhist and other myths. Basically, the earliest available teachings of the Buddha are to be found in Pali literature and belong to the school of Theravada Buddhism. Historical documents and archaeological evidence were used. The resultindicated that: When Buddhism was spread into the Suvarnabhumi region during the 3rd century AD, there was a devotee anddedication to create art related to Buddhism. Thus, this art is called Buddhist art. Among all the important civilizations in thisworld, the Khmer civilization, which is one of the important civilizations in Southeast Asia. The forms of Khmer architecture orLopburi architecture can be divided into 3 types: (1) Devalai or temple (2) Dhammasala, accommodation for travelers, or houseswith lights (3) Arogayasala (Chapel of the hospital). Surin province is located in the northeast of Thailand. There are a largenumber of Khmer castles. In this province, the castles of Brahmanism and Buddhism had been settled. The Buddhist arts hadreflected through architecture. It was indicated that this area used to have Mahayana Buddhism. Although the Buddhist Mahayanasect at present has deteriorated. This relies on the main source of data used in the documentary research. The methodology adopted in the study is of a critical and investigative approach to the analysis of data gathered from documentary sources. The result indicated that: The Phanom Dong Rak, which is used in the Thai language. It is a mountain located in the southeastern part of Thailand as the border between Thailand and Cambodia, starting from the Khorat Plateau, stretching to the east to the Prasat Wat Phu in Champasak, Laos. On both sides of Phanom Dong Rak, shows signs of embarrassment that have existed in the past 3,000 years ago, and there are still many ethnic groups inhabiting the particles of the Phanom Dong Mountains.
