From June 22–25, our team Björn Peters Jonathon Fendelman Kalpana Ramakrishnan will be in San Diego for the BIO International Convention, connecting with partners, peers and innovators across the global biotech community. This year’s BIO theme, Driven by Purpose, feels especially relevant in rare diseases, where progress depends on shared commitment, focused science and the right partnerships. For us, collaboration isn’t a step in the process. It is the process — helping bring together the expertise, experience and purpose needed to address some of the toughest rare disease challenges. Interested in partnering with us? Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/egqZpPUe See you in San Diego! #BIO2026

Listening is not optional in rare disease innovation and care. Behind every diagnosis is more than most people see: unanswered questions, missed signals, and too often, time patients and families cannot afford to lose. In his article for The Medicine Maker, our CEO Fabrice Chouraqui explores why patient voices must form the basis of rare disease innovation, from diagnosis and clinical development to access and policy. At Pharming, we believe progress matters only when it reaches patients – and that starts by listening to the people living the journey every day. Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/edPsN6PC
I recently had the opportunity to contribute an article to The Medicine Maker, where I explore why progress in rare disease starts with listening not only to data, but to the voices of those living with rare diseases every day. That means embedding patient voices across the journey: from diagnosis and trial design to acess and policy. It means solving challenges with patients, not for them. This is how science gets sharper, access gets faster, and and innovation has a greater chance of changing lives sooner.. Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/g8_rxp36

What does tax leadership look like in a more fragmented world? Last week, our Director Tax, Verena Soignon, attended the EY Tax Leadership Summit as a panelist, joining around 200 tax, finance and business leaders to explore that question. The discussion reflected on the realities facing tax teams today: shifting geopolitics, rapid technological change, evolving global tax rules, greater regulatory scrutiny and rising expectations from stakeholders. For Pharming, conversations like these matter. Responsible leadership across every function helps us stay focused, resilient and ready to deliver long-term value as we continue working to serve people living with rare diseases. Thank you to EY for bringing people together to discuss these important topics, and to moderator Laura Mair, and fellow panel members Jennifer Korpinen, Alistair Collins and Joana Dermendjieva, for an engaging discussion.

In rare disease, progress isn’t defined by a single moment. It's built over time. The experiences of patients, families and colleagues help keep our work anchored in what matters most. They remind us why listening matters, why innovation must be purposeful, and why continued progress is critical for people who often have nowhere else to turn.
