About the Role

Danone is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Regulatory Affairs Manager to join the Benelux team on an interim basis, covering maternity leave.

In this impactful role, you will act as a strategic business partner, ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting innovation and growth across key portfolios including Dairy, Waters, and Plant-Based products.

Working from Rijswijk and in close collaboration with colleagues in Brussels, you will engage with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, R&I, Quality, Nutrition, Sustainability, and Public Affairs.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of product composition and communication with NL & BE regulations and Danone standards
• Review and approve consumer, HCP, and sales communication materials across all channels
• Provide regulatory expertise to innovation and product development projects
• Validate labelling documentation and artwork for market readiness
• Oversee and execute product notification processes across the Benelux region
• Translate complex legislation into clear business recommendations
• Support decision-making through risk assessment and mitigation strategies

About You

Experience & Knowledge

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, or Law
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Regulatory Affairs (industry or consultancy)
• Strong understanding of Benelux food regulations
• Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
