Over 10,000 physics research abstracts were submitted to the APS Global Physics Summit, ranging from quantum physics to soft condensed matter, and astrophysics to gravitational waves.

Sorting categories
The sorting categories for the APS Global Physics Summit include those typically associated with the March Meeting and April Meeting and the sponsoring units for March Meeting and April Meeting. They also include new categories that merge topics from both meetings.
Types of abstracts
To further the reach of science, the APS Global Physics Summit will have in-person and virtual presentation options. APS members who wish to present may submit contributed abstracts for oral or poster presentations.
Individuals may also be invited to speak by the APS Program Committee. Invited speakers must still submit an abstract for their presentation.
