History

Raymond Carver published his short stories collection Cathedral in 1983. The stories of Cathedral are different from Carver’s earlier minimalistic works. The improvement of author’s livelihood urged him to regulate the writing of his short stories. His characters—the common people—gradually escape from despair and depression and are displayed in a more hopeful light. Moreover, his style of writing tends to be richer. Carver’s new style not only made great achievements in its realism, it also portrays the social life of its characters and is sensitive to the era in which they live. These are the unique innovations that characterize Raymond Carver’s later works.

This 30th anniversary of Save Bukit Cina Campaign review shows Democratic Action Party of Malaysia success in saving Bukit China from being demolished by the then BN state government in 1984 ,remind us the importance of preserving important cultural and historical heritage over development projects for the sake of private gain.
DAP has been proven their great contribution for saving Bukit Cina and it is naive,ignorant and irrespect for those who denied the history facts and tend to wipe out the "political"part of the events.

The purpose of this dissertation is not only to understand the importance of a certain historical figure in decision-making of historical events, but also the complicated historical background of an era. For example, during the Republican era, China was often faced with tremendous internal and external problems, success or failure in diplomatic affairs would frequently affects the nation’s approach in the future, including diplomats’ personal circumstances and their own prestige.
Through Tcheng-Loh, a diplomat who had been forgotten, neglected, and a longtime stigmatized historical figure, this dissertation is not only intended to complete and to amend his lifetime information, but also profoundly explore the participation of his important diplomatic achievements and influences. At the same time, I am looking forward that this research could provide a different perspective from the past experiences, in order to understand and restoring the objective of China's modern diplomatic history, which was disengaged from political constraints.

Abstract:
T h is  paper  makes  a  comparative  discussion  on  the  problems 
of  modern  "Tuogu"  (Expressing  modern  affairs  in  ancient  form)  and  "retro"  from  the origin of Mencius' "well-field" thought, combined  with  the  origin  and  context  of  Western "Utopia" thought, and roughly discusses  the  “Tuogu”  reform  and  Utopian  traditional ideas, and the feasibility of  the  modern  state  construction  and  reform  process.

An article published in an on going biographical history monthly- Biography Literature magazine （傳記文學）from Taiwan,about the origins and process of Outer Mongolian Independent movement raging since Revolution of China 1911,which interfered from time to time by several different Russian political entity:Tsarist Russian, Transbaikal Cossacks,White movement and Soviet's Far Eastern Republic,eventually resulting to the independence of Outer Mongolia as a sovereignty state divided from the China.
