She also sits on the board of The Association of Dental Groups, helping shape policy across the sector.   She still practises dentistry herself and stays hands-on with every major decision at Damira. Terry Jermy MP visited our brand new practice in Thetford this week 💫 Access to NHS dentistry is a challenge across Norfolk, and Thetford is one of the towns where more capacity is needed. This is our third site in the county, and it has opened with room to take on new patients. Anushika Brogan, our CEO and Founder, welcomed him alongside Tom Simons, our Operations Director, and Ella Allen Bulow, our Regional Manager. The conversation was about NHS access and what is standing in the way of it. Visa processing times at the Home Office and the limited number of ORE places each year hold up dentists who are qualified and ready to work. A shortage of NHS mentorship placements adds further delay. Every one of those points slows down how quickly a patient can be seen. We are now welcoming Associate Dentists and mentees to Thetford. Summer holidays might be here, but we are absolutely not slowing down! ☀️ A child's early experiences with the dentist can shape how they feel about their oral health for years to come. That's why our teams take such care with every young patient, always friendly and always aiming for a smile at the end of the visit. That's also why we're running kids' open days across our practices this summer, so little ones can get comfortable with us early on. The schools are out, but we are very much in! 💜

Well done to the Hays team, who took on the EveryYouth Hadrian's Wall Challenge over the weekend. They walked up to 26 miles across Northumberland to help young people facing homelessness build a path towards independence 🥾 What an achievement! We were pleased to support their fundraising by donating teeth whitening treatment to the raffle, helping the team get closer to their goal. A brilliant effort for a brilliant cause!

Our marketing team took CEO Anushika Brogan along to @MADFEST 2026 this month 🌸   Dental conferences teach us plenty about clinical care and running strong practices. MADFEST added something different: a packed day watching how other industries talk to their audiences, hold attention, and build brands people remember.   We sat in on some amazing talks along the way, from cultural relevance to building human brands, and caught headliner sessions from Louis Theroux and Dr Julia Shaw.   Now the fun part: working out which of those ideas fit Damira and bringing them into how we speak to our patients.
