The last 2 weeks have been the equivalent of downing 3 coffees, opening 47 tabs & saying YES to everything. Somehow, in the space of 14 days Pimentae Drinks have... 🏎️ Poured at F1 🎾 Wimbledon ⚽ Tottenham Hotspur's 🏉 Twickenham Stadium 📰 Landed a full-page Forbes spread (still… what??) 🍻 Won 23 permanent listings & tap installs in the Trade 🎤 Pitched to a room of 100 very exciting people 🌴Photo shoot in Ibiza 🌶️ Launched our Spicy Mezcal Marg X Ojo de Dios Mezcal 📽️ Filmed our most exciting campaign to DATE I spend a lot of time preaching that “no” is the most defining word an entrepreneur can say. Obv, ignored our own advice and said YES to all of the above. Turns out marg time runs on Love Island physics... Nobody knows what day it is. New bombshells arrive daily. You wake up with one plan & by 6pm you’re in an entirely different storyline. Fear not, the chaos was very much present behind the scenes. Delayed deliveries landing on event days. Being wildly over forecast because apparently the UK’s bloodstream is now 99% marg. Emergency production runs. The usual entrepreneurial assault course we love to play in. Eat. Sleep. Build Marg empire. Repeat.

Well, that's a wrap on Taste of London Festival. We went through 5,000 margaritas. A number that sounds completely ridiculous until you spend four days watching them fly across the bar. Somewhere between the queues, the cocktails and the chaos, we managed to get our first ever full team photo together, a rare moment of stillness in four days that felt anything but. Heart is full. Feet are sore. Voice is gone. See you next year. 

This is one I’m super proud of!! The Brew York x Pimentae Drinks Lagerita collab is live 🍸🍺 Our second collab in 2.5 years at Pimentae, so this one feels a bit special. It started, like a lot of good things do, as something slightly unofficial 👀 Katie Arabella Ward and I have been making Lagerita slushies at trade shows for years. Not because they were part of the plan… but because we couldn’t resist them. Every time we’d pour one, it just worked. People loved them. We loved them. It became a bit of a running joke. So when Tyler called back in December about doing a second collab, it didn’t take long for us to land on the idea. We went up a couple of weeks ago to the brewery to finalise the recipe. Plenty of iterations, plenty of tasting, and that familiar moment of “this is actually dangerously good, isn’t it”. And now it’s out in the world for everyone to try. Big thanks to Tyler Kiley, Yousef Doubooni, Lee Grabham, Wayne Smith, Pete English and the whole Brew York team for making this such a fun one to build together and for another proper full-circle moment. How many times were we told “margaritas at the rugby? No one’s going to go for that.” Well last weekend, being part of the Pimentae Drinks team at the Big Summer Kick Off at Allianz Stadium felt like a bit of a full-circle moment for me, equal parts margarita enthusiast and rugby fan. And safe to say, we proved that statement wrong.🏉🌶️ Now for a quick story that made my day: I got chatting to two lovely gentleman on the train up to the game. They asked why I was heading there and I explained that, for once, I wasn’t going as a fan, I was there pouring margs and grabbing content. They were confused but intrigued. “Think we’ll stick to pints… but maybe we’ll come find you later.” Fast forward a few hours and I spot them at the bar, huge smiles on their faces: “We found the margaritas… and we’re coming back at half time for a couple more.” Before the game even began, people were pre-ordering margaritas to avoid the long queues at half-time… This just reinforced something I already believed to be true: 🍸Margaritas are for everyone and they absolutely do have a place at the rugby.🍸
