We are pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Garner as CFO of PLATFORM_. Matt brings a wealth of financial experience from his 13 years of real estate CFO roles. As part of the executive team, he will support the continued growth of the business as we deliver our development pipeline, acquire new opportunities, and grow our management services. Matt succeeds Jonathan Rae who is leaving PLATFORM_ after 8 years to take up the role of CFO at Grosvenor Property UK. We’re thrilled that Bristol City Council has approved our 352-home Build to Rent development, a major step in the Frome Gateway regeneration. The highlights: 🏠 Homes for all: 20% at Local Housing Allowance rents, 10% wheelchair accessible. 🌿 Riverside Park & public spaces: Reconnecting the city with the River Frome for the first time in generations. 🎨 Community & culture: Early events with Alfresco Disco and The Jam Jar have already brought thousands of people together. 🌱 Sustainability & design: EPC B homes, BREEAM Excellent commercial/community spaces, extensive greenery, and rooftop terraces. PLATFORM_ Submits Application for Next Phase of Sweetfields BTR in Leeds    This milestone advances Sweetfields, a 1.3 million sq ft neighbourhood at the heart of the South Bank regeneration area, and follows the successful topping out of Phase 1 which is delivering 451 new BTR homes.   Phase 2 will add a further 541 high-quality BTR apartments across two signature buildings ranging from 8 to 23 stories.   Key highlights of the submission: 🌆 Elevated Amenities: Residents will benefit from expansive social spaces including resident lounges, a state-of-the-art gym, co-working facilities, private dining rooms, and elevated external terraces boasting city views. ♻️ Sustainable Design: The scheme targets EPC B ratings for all homes and incorporates significant sustainability features, including green roof space, PV panels for on-site renewable energy, and extensive landscaping. 🏡 Commitment to Leeds: Progressing this 1.3 million sq ft masterplan reaffirms PLATFORM_'s long-term commitment to creating a thriving, inclusive neighbourhood in one of the UK’s most ambitious city centre transformation projects.
