Across the Group, we're continuing to invest in high-quality, affordable homes that help people put down roots, feel secure and become part of thriving communities. Every development is delivered through collaboration with partners, contractors and local stakeholders, with the shared goal of creating homes that will make a lasting difference of generations to come. We're proud to be investing not only in new homes, but in stronger communities across the North West.

Numbers matter. But it's what happens after you collect them that really counts. Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) aren't just a reporting exercise, they're any opportunity to listen, learn and improve. At Progress Housing Group, tenant feedback helps us shape the decisions we make and the services we deliver every day. Our latest TSMs show where we're performing well and, just as importantly, where we can continue to improve. You can explore the full results here: https://lnkd.in/ecm4qZTJ

“Helping to establish the Tenant Committee has been a real highlight for me, encouraging and recruiting tenants to be part of a new committee where we are all learning together. “From the work of the committee, we can see that the tenant voice has been listened to and acted upon, which is what the committee is all about. I am proud to have been part of the success and I wish them all the best in the future as they continue to champion tenants.” Thank you to Chair of our Tenant Committee, Neil Townsend, who marked his final meeting last week as he continues his passion for social housing at another organisation. Neil has made a significant contribution to the Tenant Committee and to Progress more widely. His leadership, commitment and passion for improving services for tenants have helped shape the committee into the strong tenant voice it is today. We are extremely grateful for everything he has given and wish him all the very best for the future. https://lnkd.in/e_Jd9tgg

A great employee experience starts before the job really begins 👏 At Progress, we're committed to giving every new colleague the best possible start. That's why we've introduced a new Manager Induction Toolkit, helping managers create structured, tailored induction plans that support new starters from day one. The toolkit brings together everything managers need in one place, including induction schedules, key contacts, mandatory learning, policy checklists and practical guidance to help colleagues settle in, build confidence and feel part of the team. Because when people feel supported from the start, they're set up to succeed. If you're looking for an organisation that invests in its people from the very beginning, we'd love to hear from you. 💚 Thank you Thursday to this week’s amazing supporters 🏃 Key Charity and Progress Housing Group for nominating us as one of their charities of the year for their 2026 Big Team Challenge. Their teams took on a virtual 484-mile journey through Denmark, clocking up the distance through walking, running and any activity that counted towards their step total. We even bumped into them and their brilliant mascot at Leyland Festival! Thank you for having us as part of your challenge. 🥁 Croston Scout Band raised £495 for the hospice while taking part in the Croston Coffee Day parade. The band was formed decades ago by Billy, whose care at St Catherine's inspired a lasting connection with the hospice. It's so special to see that support continuing all these years later. Thank you to everyone involved. 🎪 Lancashire Festival 26 has chosen St Catherine's Hospice as its nominated charity for this Saturday's event. They're also donating all gate ticket sales between 12pm and 1pm directly to the hospice. If you're heading along, you'll be able to enjoy an afternoon of family-friendly entertainment while helping support local hospice care. Thank you to every person, group and organisation that chooses to support St Catherine's Hospice. We couldn't do what we do without you!

Investing in the next generation starts with giving people the right opportunities...and the right tools 🔨 At Progress Housing Group, we're committed to developing the skilled workforce of the future, and last week we celebrated an important milestone for 12 of our apprentices. Having successfully passed their probation, each apprentice received a professional starter toolkit, generously donated by our long-standing partner, C&W Berry Ltd. The toolkits will support them as they continue to develop their skills and build their careers, while reflecting our shared commitment to investing in future talent and addressing the construction industry's skills shortage. A huge thank you to C&W Berry for their continued partnership and support, and congratulations to all 12 apprentices on this fantastic achievement. 🎥Here from Andy Baldwin, Senior Repairs and Maintenance Manager, and David Berry, Managing Director at C&W Berry.

From October 2026, a new national Competence and Conduct Standard will apply to people working in social housing. At Progress Housing Group, we reinforce the values, skills and behaviours that already underpin the services we provide to our tenants and communities. Zoe McEvoy, Director of People & Culture at Progress Housing Group, said: “The Government’s Competence and Conduct Standard coming into force in October 2026 is an important step in strengthening professionalism across the social housing sector. By providing a clear framework for skills, knowledge and behaviours, it reinforces Progress Housing Group’s longstanding commitment to supporting colleagues to deliver high-quality services that reflect our social purpose. ''We welcome the transition period ahead of implementation in October, giving housing providers time to review the guidance and ensure existing approaches continue to align with the new requirements. We will continue to use this time to evolve our approach with tenants and colleagues, building on the way we already work with tenants to shape standards and expectations across the Group. ''At Progress Housing Group, investing in our people has always been a priority. We are committed to providing colleagues with access to learning, professional development and the support they need to thrive throughout their careers. We believe the new standard will help strengthen consistency across the sector while recognising the professionalism, expertise and dedication already demonstrated by housing colleagues every day.”

Collaboration is key to delivering more high-quality supported housing 🏘️ We're pleased to see the RWP (Reside With Progress) team featured by Assisted Living Project, highlighting the importance of partnership working in creating specialist homes for people who need them most. By working alongside organisations such as Assisted Living Project and TAO Complex Care, we're helping to deliver homes that provide both security and the right support, enabling people to live as independently as possible.
The scale of this challenge means no one can deliver it alone. Les Warren, Assisted Living Operator with RWP (Reside With Progress), is clear about what strong partnerships in the supported housing sector actually look like. It is not a transactional mindset. It is a long-term commitment to people, to standards that go beyond the minimum, and to the kind of flexibility that only comes when both sides are truly invested. Because these are not just properties. They are lifetime homes. At Assisted Living Project, that is exactly the kind of partnership we are built for. Shared purpose, shared standards, and a genuine commitment to getting it right for the people who need it most. #SupportedLiving #SocialCare #SpecialistHousing #AssistedLiving #assistedlivingproject
