  • Women make up 51% of the population but have been historically underserved in health research, investment, and care delivery, and this collaboration is doing something about it. At HLTH Europe, Paula Bellostas Muguerza, Senior Partner and Global Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice Leader at Kearney and Elena Bonfiglioli, General Manager, Global Health & Life Sciences, Microsoft announced a Women's Health Tech Manifesto grounded in the belief that data and AI can accelerate access and care delivery. ✅ Medical education reform. ✅ More representative clinical trials. ✅ Better tools for clinicians. ✅ Real action on endometriosis, menopause, and cardiovascular health. This is what meaningful collaboration in healthcare looks like. 💜 #HLTHEurope

  • "Every euro you spend on prevention saves you four euros on care." That's the case EU Health Commissioner Olivér Várhelyi made on the HLTH Europe stage on why health is Europe's strongest strategic asset, alongside Siemens Healthineers’ CEO Bernd Montag. Europe's healthcare budgets currently spend just 3% to 6% on prevention, against 80% on care, even as cardiovascular disease alone costs the continent 282 billion euros and 1.7 million lives a year, nearly 80% of which is preventable. Bernd Montag sees Europe's real advantage elsewhere: strong science and rich health data, turned into care that reaches patients faster than anywhere else in the world. The Commissioner closed with a promise, a Europe wide screening day this September, checking blood pressure, blood sugar, and the basics most people don't even know about themselves. 🎥 Hear the full exchange: https://lnkd.in/ehvAiWPF 👉 Register your interest for HLTH Europe 2027: https://lnkd.in/e26R7SRP

HLTH Europe 2026 is a wrap, and what an experience it was. For the first time, HLTH Europe launched HealthRad, and we were honored and pleased to be there. Over the course of the event, we talked AI in radiology, foundation models, 5T imaging and what it takes to scale healthcare innovation across so many different regulations. We saw the unseen and experienced a real shift in the room: radiologists moving toward supervising AI. Our foundation models are already advancing toward multi-indication generalist models, supporting clinicians and patients in achieving better care. It was busy. It was vibrant. And the conversations went deep. We walked away having exchanged great information with the radiology and innovation community. It was clear that United Imaging belongs to this stage. As one of our colleagues put it: "Amazing to see and just realize how fast, how quickly things are changing." We believe we are extremely well-positioned to drive that change. Thank you to everyone who visited, to all members of the United Imaging team who made this happen, and to HLTH Europe for hosting us. We can't wait to be back for HLTH 2027. #UnitedImaging #UnitedImagingHealthcare #MedicalInnovation #EqualHealthcareForAll #PassionForChange #HLTH2026 #HLTHrad Gona Aziz, Fernando J. We could tell you why you should sponsor HLTH Europe. Or we could let the people who were there do it instead. 👇 "It's the highlight of the year." "The right mix of business and craziness." "It's the only conference where I hear anyone talk about FOMO." The #HLTHEurope27 show floor is open for booking. And if 2026 taught us anything, don't leave it too late. 🔒 Secure your place for 2027: https://lnkd.in/dx_97Pc3

HLTH Europe 2026 was everything I had hoped for. World-class speakers. Outstanding innovations. Meaningful conversations. But above all... people. After a few days in Amsterdam, I came back with one strong conviction. The biggest challenge in healthcare is no longer technology. Technology is advancing faster than ever. The real challenge today is bringing together people, organizations and sectors that, until recently, operated separately. This aftermovie captures only a small part of that story. Over the coming days, I'll be sharing full story and conversations with: 🎙️ Prof. Paweł Ptaszyński, 🎙️ Magdalena Jander, PhD, 🎙️ Piotr Orzechowski, …and many more guests. That's exactly why we launched the 'Polish Health Innovation Mission at HLTH Europe'. Not simply to promote individual companies or institutions, but above all to present Poland as one connected health innovation ecosystem - one that can build the future of healthcare together and benefit from the power of collaboration. This was only the beginning. Not every organization and expert was able to join us in Amsterdam. In some cases, I simply reached out too late; in others, there wasn't enough time to make the decision. That's one of the biggest lessons I'm taking with me as we prepare for the next chapter. I hope we'll meet in an even bigger group at HLTH USA in Las Vegas (November 15–18). More details coming soon! Speaking of people, I'd like to use this post to thank a few of them: Tomasz Maciejewski, Łukasz Sosnowski, Karolina Tądel - from the Polish Ministry of Health, Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka, Michał Lukas, Waldemar Wiśniewski, Marta Gryglewicz & Emilia Hahn, Karolina Mackiewicz, Diana Żochowska & Karolina Świdrak, Grzegorz Sadowski & Kuba Dobroszek, Darek Ambroziak, Magdalena Pielesiak, Rich Scarfo, Matt B., Robbie Dorius, Jagoda Konarska - for their help, trust, openness and belief that Poland is stronger when presented as one connected health innovation ecosystem. More 'thank-yous' and stories from some truly inspiring conversations - are coming soon. Otherwise, LinkedIn's algorithm would probably block me for mentioning you all. 😉 And one final thought. Technology is changing the world. But behind every technology are people. And the people who know how to build bridges will shape the future. And that's exactly what we started together in Amsterdam. Who's ready to continue or start the journey in Las Vegas? 🇵🇱🌍🚀

  • Every two minutes, someone is diagnosed with melanoma. Every ten minutes, someone dies from it. At HLTH Europe 2026, Skin Analytics CEO Neil Daly took the stage with news that could change that. DermZero: the world's first Class III autonomous skin cancer assessment that runs on a standard smartphone. No dermatoscope. No specialist equipment. Just the phone already in your pocket. Six years of evidence, 230,000+ patients, 20,000+ cancers found, and now a pathway to catching melanoma at the stage where survival rates are at their highest. This is the kind of breakthrough that gets announced at HLTH Europe. Catch it live at #HLTHEurope27, 21 - 24 June in Amsterdam. 🎥 Watch the full session: https://lnkd.in/eAw9gFbM 💜 Register your interest for HLTH Europe 2027: https://lnkd.in/eJ3X4r9e

Three of the most credible voices in global health. One brutally honest question. Is AI in healthcare delivering hype, hope, or hard ROI? Bringing two health system leaders together on stage at HLTH Europe, Deloitte's Global Health Care Sector Leader Sara Siegel pushed both past the buzzwords. Charité's CEO Heyo K. Kroemer didn't sugarcoat it. Germany will lose 30% of its healthcare workforce in the next decade, and there's no next generation coming to replace them. AI isn't a nice to have anymore. It's survival. Sharing the stage at HLTH Europe, Mayo Clinic's President & CEO Gianrico Farrugia, M.D. brought the receipts: Nearly 500 AI algorithms already in practice, governance centralised, and a 15 fold drop in the time it takes to introduce something new into practice. Two health systems, two very different starting points, one shared conclusion: the AI conversation has moved past the hype. We'll be picking this thread back up in Amsterdam at #HLTHEurope27. 21 - 24 June. Don't miss it. 🎥 Watch the full session: https://lnkd.in/eRYPYMup 👉 Register your interest for HLTH Europe 2027: https://lnkd.in/ep4kbEur
