Today we're celebrating 18 years with Erich Boileau! 🎉 As a partner at Boileau & Co., Erich helps clients bring clarity and understanding to complex stories. He's a strategic thinker, a natural coach and someone who genuinely cares about seeing people grow. His journey to partner included stints as a coffee runner, web developer and Director of Web Services, plus nearly a decade of nonprofit leadership abroad in Morocco and Japan. And yes, he really can fix your computer just by standing near it. We're so grateful for all that he brings to our team!

We get to dabble in a lot of industries. Automation is among our favorites because well... there are robots. This week our video team made the trip to Automate Show 2026 in Chicago — North America's largest robotics and automation show — to see what's new and bring some of that back for the manufacturers we work with. Today we're celebrating 2 years with Magdalen Heerspink! Happy Magdalenniversary! 🎉 If you've ever walked into our office to find fresh snacks in the kitchen, a beautifully decorated space for a team celebration or a thriving jungle of greenery lining our walkway, you have Magdalen to thank. Behind the scenes, she's also the one keeping us on track: managing weekly reports, productivity data and billing so our team can do its best work. Whether she's crunching numbers, prepping for a team outing or tending to her plant babies, Magdalen brings warmth and thoughtfulness to everything she does. We're so grateful for all that she brings to our team!

In the age of perhaps criminal levels applicant AI-filtering, job fairs are making a come-back! Candidates are looking for opportunities to stand out. Congratulations again to this year's Randy Boileau Storyteller Scholars, Abbi Rozman and Logan Adamski! Hannah Grant and Erich Boileau had the privilege of attending the Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area scholarship event earlier this week to get to know Abbi and meet other scholarship recipients. Each year, Boileau & Co. works with the Community Foundation to vet numerous applications and select recipients of a $3000 scholarship to study storytelling at one of our region's qualified universities. This year, the company selected 2 recipients, awarding $6000 total dollars. Randy Boileau started Boileau & Co. over 20 years ago with the belief that storytelling can bring people and communities together to accomplish great things. This scholarship was created to honor this belief by encouraging more participation in the communications fields.

Meet Logan Adamski, our second 2026 Randy Boileau Storytelling Scholarship recipient. Logan is a Holland Christian High School graduate heading to Calvin College this fall to study sports communications. He's passionate about bringing people together through sports, and plans to get involved with Unified Sports, connect with Calvin's athletic teams, and play intramural sports along the way. Congratulations, Logan!

Meet Abbi Rozman, one of our 2026 Randy Boileau Storyteller Scholarship recipients. Abbi is a Black River High School graduate heading to Hope College this fall to pursue her passion for communication right here in her hometown.  Outside the classroom, she plans to stay plugged into her community and participate in intramural soccer, choir, theater, and the Outdoor Adventure Club. Congratulations, Abbi!

We are pleased to award the Randy Boileau Storyteller Storytelling Scholarship to TWO exceptional students from the 2026 graduating class! This year's winners come from Black River High School and Holland Christian High School. Each will receive $3,000 toward their next steps in communications, administered through the Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area. Stay tuned as we introduce each of them later this week!
