Mental health is a journey, and for one family, it began with a courageous decision. “What started as a text from school became an emergency appointment with our daughter’s therapist and psychiatrist,” they shared. “As a parent, it is very humbling and heartbreaking to take that step for your child.” What they found at Bryan’s Youth Partial Program was more than treatment – it was a team of compassionate professionals who came together to create hope, support and a path forward. From helping ease the anxiety of starting the program to developing a thoughtful, personalized care plan, every member of the team made their daughter feel safe, heard and accepted. “The family meeting truly was beyond our expectations,” they said. “Dr. Wittry was so kind and patient. The team put a lot of thought into the conversation and plan, and it was all focused around what our daughter needed so she could keep the momentum going and feel better.” Today, the family says their future is brighter because of the care they received. “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for partnering with us and being such a shining light for our family.” Congratulations to Dr. Matt Wittry of Bryan Psychiatry and the Behavioral Health Services team on this well-deserved recognition!
