🎊Congratulations to the Lasting Hope Recovery Center Mental Health Techs named Behavioral Health Education and Center of Nebraska's Mentors of the 4th Quarter! Upon exit, our students nominate a staff member who served as an excellent mentor. Nearly forty nursing students were with us over the quarter and most of them mentioned the MHTs as excellent mentors. The techs welcomed our students and involved them in activities related to our patients. One student mentioned how much she enjoyed seeing the techs' dedication to patient care and how fond the patients are of the techs. 💙 While only some techs were photographed, there were many more recognized for their mentorship. We appreciate the entire MHT team, all of whom contribute immensely to our students' valuable experiences. #CHIHealth #CommonSpiritHealth #Hellohumankindness

Creighton University School of Medicine joined CHI Health to celebrate the grand opening of the new CHI Health Orthopedic Center at Lakeside in Omaha, NE. The new center brings together advanced technology, research, rehabilitation and physician training in one location, creating new opportunities to improve patient care across the region. It will also serve as the clinical home of Creighton's Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, where future orthopedic surgeons will train alongside experienced physicians using state-of-the-art equipment and simulation spaces. This investment reflects a shared with commitment to innovate, educate and expand access to exceptional orthopedic care for the communities we serve. A glimpse into the meticulous planning and exceptional teamwork that brought the CHI Health Orthopedic Center at Lakeside to life! Every detail within this state-of-the-art facility was thoughtfully designed with one goal in mind: delivering the best possible patient experience. Our comprehensive Center features: ▪️𝟒𝟖 orthopedic exam rooms ▪️𝟏𝟐 physical therapy exam rooms ▪️𝟒 radiology and x-ray rooms ▪️𝟑 video conferencing rooms This ambitious project was a testament to incredible collaboration that required more than 𝟖𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 labor hours from 𝟕𝟗 trade partners and 𝟒𝟕 vendors. The teams installed: ▪️𝟒𝟖 miles of data cable ▪️𝟑,𝟓𝟎𝟎 feet of mechanical piping ▪️𝟕𝟎𝟑 light fixtures ▪️𝟏𝟕𝟐,𝟎𝟎𝟎 square feet of drywall ▪️𝟑𝟖,𝟎𝟎𝟎 square feet of ceiling tile What truly makes this achievement special is that 𝟖𝟓% of the contractors on this project were Nebraska-based companies, reflecting our commitment to local expertise and community partnership.
