This morning the Diamond District team broke ground on Dōma, the first private building at the Diamond District. Located at 2707 Diamond View Drive, the Class-A apartment building will bring 276 market-rate residences, 4,000 square feet of retail space, and wellness-focused amenities, including a rooftop gym and lap pool, to Richmond’s newest mixed-use district. Under the leadership of Diamond District Partners, and brought to life by Baskervill, Kimley-Horn, Waterstreet Studio, EM Structural, CMTA, Inc., Campfire & Co., J&G Workforce Development Services, LLC, KBS and financial partner SouthState Bank, Dōma is helping define the emerging identity of the Diamond District—expanding opportunities to live, work, and gather in a connected urban neighborhood. Dōma is part of the larger Diamond District redevelopment project, which is a partnership between Diamond District Partners, the City of Richmond, and City of Richmond Department of Economic Development. We were honored to have Mayor Danny TK Avula, Council Member Katherine Jordan, and City staff Sharon Ebert and Angie Rodgers join us at the groundbreaking.
