Walking through both spaces, it was easy to see that these weren't just building projects—they were investments in Richmond's future. The opening celebrations of CoStar Group's new global headquarters and VPM's new headquarters represent two different industries, two different missions, and one powerful message: Richmond is a city where organizations choose to invest, grow, and build for the future. CoStar's investment reinforces Richmond's position as a premier destination for corporate growth, talent attraction, and innovation. Beyond the thousands of jobs and economic impact, the project reflects a deep commitment to place-making and community investment—helping to strengthen the connection between business growth and the vibrant urban experiences that make Richmond unique. Last week, East Broad Street became a canvas for creativity during Wet Walls on Broad, a two-day public art activation that brought artists, residents, visitors, and local businesses together in the heart of Richmond's Arts District.
