These kits are designed to help young children ages 0–8 explore and express their feelings about grief and loss. This resource is made possible through a partnership with Cornerstone of Hope and grant funding from the Delaware-Morrow Mental Health & Recovery Services Board

Today, we celebrate 15 years of the Orange Branch Library as part of our Delaware County District Library system! On Saturday, May 14, 2011, the Orange Township community got its first look at the branch. Please stop by today for goodies, giveaways, and surprises, and to wish our staff a very happy anniversary! We're very excited for our upcoming COSI - Center of Science and Industry Science Festival partnership next week! Earlier this month, young learners at the Ostrander Branch Library did basic coding with MARIO! Participants had to create a basic algorithm for their avatar (another player) to move across the maze. If you want more opportunities to play with basic coding, be sure to visit our booths at the Main Street Delaware, Inc. May First Friday next week. We'll have coding, flight, Super Soakers, and everything in between!

Did you know that the America 250-Ohio Commission has designated each month this year with a theme? This April, we're exploring "Ohio Moves: Transportation" at the Library! And just last week, Delaware Branch tweens and teens experienced American railroad history by building their own model railroad. These displays will be shared at the next Biennial Winter Train Display planned for January 2028. They also learned about the Transcontinental Railroad and the tremendous challenge of building a railroad.

Teaching kids how to be safe online is a community effort. Many thanks to all the partners who helped make it happen!
