RIDAR = REMOTE ID + AIRSPACE RECEIVER We set out to build the RIDAR field module that snaps onto the back of your EUD to do simple remote ID drone decoding + ADS-B receiving on a proprietary, low powered custom made board as we were frustrated with the lack of updates and capabilities in the government funded Drone Hone ATAK plugin. Our design philosophy with all GoTAK solutions has never changed, we develop turn key capabilities that don't require a manual to operate in the field. This led us down the path of a dozen enclosure revisions, hundreds of firmware builds and hundreds of ATAK plugin builds. What we are delivering is an all in one sensor for not only drones and ADS-B, but a powerful Bluetooth and wifi directional finding system. The RIDAR ATAK plugin runs a local AI model at the edge that does spectral scene analysis and entity correlation, even with MAC address randomization- we can still fingerprint devices and passively directional find the emission source. By deploying multiple RIDAR units on dismounted operators the directional finding capability becomes exponentially more accurate and faster built for teams using ATAK for situational awareness.
