Q2 has been a travel quarter for the Presto team, connecting with fleet, charging, and other partners at ACT Expo / ACT News and Home Delivery World. Whether you are scaling a nationwide charging network or electrifying a delivery fleet, the resounding focus is now on operational reality and the hard work of scaling - rather than initial pilots. For both, ensuring reliable access to charging infrastructure where and when fleets need it is still the major constraint and challenge. Are you working to ensure the best user experience for drivers at your charging stations? Expanding from initial pilot routes to more challenging EV operations? Not sure how to make your charging strategy more resilient? Whether we were able to meet in Las Vegas or Nashville, we’d love to continue the conversation. Check out the team’s full recaps (links in the comments).

We’re excited to announce our collaboration with bp pulse to expand fast-charging access for EV drivers and fleets across the U.S. Through this partnership, drivers using Presto will be able to locate bp pulse sites, view real-time charger availability, and seamlessly start charging sessions directly through the Presto platform. bp pulse is building a high-quality fast-charging network, including flagship Hub locations near major airports like LAX, BOS, and ORD. We’re thrilled to work with such thoughtful, collaborative partners to help deliver a seamless charging experience for high-mileage EV drivers and fleets. Rental cars are a great way for fleets and drivers to experience EVs for the first time, and a major support for the fleets we power. They were also early partners and supporters of Presto, understanding that fleets and drivers need a seamless and magical charging experience at all stages of the journey. Thank you to our partners, and looking forward to the next ten thousand EV renters and charging sessions!
Hundreds of locations, over two years, and tens of thousands of EV renters later...here's what I've learned about EV charging in the rental car industry from visits to airports, charging stations, and local rental car counters from LA, to NYC, to Miami. 🪫 The "23% battery" headache. Opportunity cost is real. Renters in a rush to catch flights will happily pay a fee to drop a car off empty. For fleet managers, this is a logistical nightmare. For the next renter? It's a bad first impression. 🤝 Trust is key. Drivers need to know the session will work, the price is fair, and that if something goes wrong, someone has their back. 🥇 The best fleet operators are the best coaches. High-performing locations don't just hand over the keys. They provide advice on nearby stations, regen braking, and charging speeds. What’s something you’ve learned from renting an EV?

Conference season doesn't let up! If you will be attending ACT Expo / ACT News next week in Las Vegas, reach out to our team to find some time to talk improved resilience and vehicle utilization for fleets, and more successful stations for networks with demand where and when they need it. #ACTExpo JJ Raynor, Scott Oltmann, MBA, Ally Leighton and Madeline Zhu

Thanks to our hosts Andrew Beebe and Brook Porter, and all participants, for a great conversation at #SFCW! The conversation hit on some key truths about fleet electrification, where the real head (and tail!) winds are, and powerful effects like demand shaping and management that can be unlocked by fleets at scale.

Congruent Ventures' 2025 Impact Report is out! We’re proud to have contributed our ~20,000 MWh of energy provided to vehicles, and 20,500+ metric tons of CO2 avoided to the powerful impact of the portfolio.
For nine years, we’ve been making investments in founders solving climate problems that felt too hard, too capital-intensive, or too early. Our annual Impact Report for 2025 is what it looks like when those investments start paying off. Not in projections. In product shipped, megawatts managed, acres monitored, tons avoided. In companies that started as seed investments now operating at meaningful commercial scale and generating real, measurable climate impact in the process. The climate challenge runs through infrastructure, food systems, supply chains, insurance markets, and the lived experience of everyday life. The companies in this report work at all of those intersections. Increasingly, they’re doing it at scale. This is our sixth impact report, we’re moving from potential to proof. Get onboard! Full report in the first comment.

San Francisco Climate week is right around the corner, and we’re delighted that our co-founder and CFO, JJ Raynor will be speaking on what it really takes to support at-scale fleet electrification. We hope to see you there! #SFCW
SF Climate Week is almost here and the future of autonomy is taking center stage. 🌍 At Obvious Ventures, we’re diving deep into how transportation is being reshaped across air, ground, and sea. One theme keeps surfacing: electrification and autonomy aren’t just parallel trends—they are a positive feedback loop. I just published a new piece on Obvious Ideas, “The Next Phase of Electrification Will Drive Itself,” exploring why autonomy is the intelligence layer that finally unlocks the full potential of electrified systems. 👉 Read the full piece here: https://lnkd.in/ga_T7K-w If you’re in SF for Climate Week, join us for our three-part Autonomy Series to hear about these systems in action: ✈️ April 20 | Autonomy in Flight Focusing on autonomous air mobility and electric propulsion. Thank you to NAFA Fleet Management Association for having us, and to all the partners, future partners, and great people who wanted to talk electrification, operational resilience, and charging with us. If you didn't catch Madeline Zhu and Scott Oltmann, MBA this week in Cleveland, drop us a note to keep the conversation going. Big congratulations to all the fleets in the 2026 100 best fleets, both public and private - including #1 public fleet City of Salem, and #1 corporate fleet Florida Power & Light! FPL is also one of our valued charging network partners, so double congratulations are in order. Extra thanks to the folks from Leke Services, Inspiration Mobility Group, Environmental Defense Fund and City of Carlsbad (congrats on being #9!) who welcomed Presto's perspective on The Electrification Stack!
NAFA Fleet Management Association Day 1, whew! Incredible to see so many fleet operators and real-world deployers together in one place, and having so many conversations about electrification. We had great participation in multiple consecutive electrification sessions - awesome to see. It’s been great to catch up with folks and really dig into what fleets are seeing on the ground, especially around: 🚛🛻🚘The critical importance of selecting the right solutions for each fleet - and they’re different, fleet by fleet. 💪Finding ways to do more with less - including using the infrastructure (like public charging networks) that are already installed, around us. 👷♀️👏Not being afraid to ask for help. No one person, or one fleet manager, should have to be an expert in everything. There are other people and companies here that can help a fleet design the right mix of solutions for them as they electrify. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the great conversation earlier today. Let’s keep the conversation going - come find Scott Oltmann, MBA and I at booth #492 for the next two days!

Awesome job Ally Leighton and the Monta team. We look forward to continuing to improve visibility, reliability, and strategic positioning for all our charging partners so that the fleets that need them can find them.
I was delighted to join the team at Monta for their recent webinar on roaming, and to share Presto learnings from fleets with many of our network partners. Key takeaways included: Visibility is the start, not the end: networks must get in front of fleets and drivers, but reliability, price, availability, and other factors play a big role in driving fleet utilization. Regional coverage and key locations can be strategic, especially for fleets - sometimes more so than sheer density. More fleets (and networks!) are looking at site factors like amenities, size, maneuverability and more to create valuable places to stop and charge. Webinar available here → https://lnkd.in/gQButSda
