It’s every interaction, every touchpoint, and every impression your patients have with your practice. From the first Google search to the front desk experience to the care they receive, every part of that journey shapes trust. And trust is what drives referrals. In Episode 1 of The Chiro Companion, Caitlin Smith shares why brand is about more than visuals and how a strong patient journey builds loyalty.

One of the biggest risks in selling a clinic is not always poor revenue. It is concentration risk. Joshua Catlett from Verilo explained a mistake many clinic owners only discover when they start thinking about exit. If 90% of the revenue depends on the owner, the business becomes much harder to sell. A buyer is not just asking, “Is this clinic profitable?” They are asking: Will the revenue stay if the owner leaves? That does not mean the business is unsellable. But it changes the deal. The clinic needs other transferable assets: a strong brand, a loyal patient base, solid systems, good data, and a clear operating model. The owner may also need to stay involved for a longer handover period. Watch the full episode.

"Most practitioners are fantastic clinicians. They know their job, they know their anatomy, and when it comes to customer care they're quite good. The challenge is running a business with the processes to protect yourself. Ten years to build a business — ten minutes to destroy it." In this clip, Eddie Hooker names something many aesthetic practitioners feel but rarely talk about: clinical excellence and business resilience aren't the same skill set. Without robust processes underneath the practice, even the best clinicians are exposed. A timely reminder that what protects your business is the work you do behind the scenes. A lot of OT programs teach you how to be an incredible clinician, but not necessarily how to build a business around your expertise ✨ https://lnkd.in/eTx-R_Et

𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞. Last night, a patient message came in at 11:47. Answered in nine seconds — warm, accurate, appointment booked. And it wasn't a person. Every clinic can buy that now. So when everyone's response time is nine seconds, what are you actually still selling? My answer and the one thing I'll never hand to a machine — in this week's edition. Link in the first comment. 👇

Turns out, you can take the hygienist out of the operatory... but not the scrubs. Victoria Martinec, RDH caught up with April Lowry as we put the finishing touches on Voice Perio ahead of Dykema. They talked about why she still wears scrubs, how years in practice shaped the product, and why building technology starts with understanding the people who'll actually use it. Sometimes the best product meetings begin with clinical experience. We'll see you at Dykema!

We all speak movement — just in different dialects with different brands & logos. Now Prehab supports both of these options for clinicians on our platform ⤵️ 🎥 Upload your own exercise videos — your demos, your cues, your names & instructions. They live right alongside our thousands of videos available to you for tagging, and they are searchable in the same builder. 🏳️ Add your logo in a few clicks — your branding across the entire patient experience, so every program looks like your practice. 🔒 Everything you upload stays yours — private to you and your team if you're on a group plan, never pooled into a shared community library. Your patients chose you and trust your eyes, your cues, your standards. Now their home program can further reflect that. See what's included → https://lnkd.in/gTECz39c

Game changer. Prehab continues to deliver what clinicians are actually asking for. When a product is designed for ideal performance without trade-offs, it becomes compelling enough that customers gladly pay. If you are a physical therapist who has ever thought, “I wish an xyz-style HEP platform existed,” consider exploring this option.

When you're sick, do you go to the hospital or to the doctor you trust? For most of healthcare's history, the doctor's name mattered more than the hospital's. So what happens when a clinic tries to build a brand around a clinician who's already the brand? Two identities, one pitch - this episode calls it a volcano.

Opening your own practice is a strange thing. You spend all your money on the buildout and staff, then unlock the door and realize the hardest part isn't medicine. It's that nobody knows you're there yet. A new practice starts at zero. No reviews, no search history, no word of mouth. And if you came from another office, none of that comes with you. We wrote the honest first year plan: what to build first, why ads matter early, and how to get reviews from patient number one. https://lnkd.in/eAYx8tBX #HealthcareMarketing #PrivatePractice
