The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has successfully processed U.S. trades using DTC-tokenized assets, marking a major step forward ahead of its Tokenization Service launch in October 2026. This initiative serves as a powerful proof point for the coexistence of legacy and Web3 ecosystems, successfully bridging TradFi and DeFi with the institutional rigor the industry demands. DTCC has spent more than a decade building the expertise that makes this milestone possible. This is the next big step for new infrastructure that will power the financial systems for decades to come. We applaud their vision and execution. As a founding premier member of LFDT (and Hyperledger too), DTCC has supported the open development and governance of ledger technologies since day one. Besu, an LFDT project, is one of the core technologies underpinning this platform. Today’s news is a defining moment for the digital asset ecosystem. Today, in partnership with The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), DriveWealth executed a real transaction involving a tokenized equity share on a regulated blockchain rail, then detokenized the asset back into traditional form at day's end — a live proof point that tokenized securities can move through their full lifecycle within the regulated framework investors already trust.
