Functional Medicine Is Becoming a Core Part of the Preventive Healthcare Ecosystem. Healthcare is undergoing a fundamental shift—from reactive treatment to proactive, personalized care. Parsley Health achievement of nationwide network status marks an important milestone in this transition. By expanding access to its functional medicine programs, the organization can now make its preventive, root-cause-focused care model available to up to 150 million people across the United States. At Longevity PR , we see this as a strong indicator of where modern healthcare is heading. Consumers are increasingly seeking long-term health partnerships that extend beyond symptom management. Functional medicine, supported by personalized care plans, lifestyle interventions, advanced diagnostics, and continuous health coaching, is becoming an integral part of the broader longevity movement. As healthcare systems prioritize prevention, the integration of these care models into national networks has the potential to significantly improve accessibility while accelerating the adoption of personalized wellness solutions. ᴋᴇʏ ɪɴꜱɪɢʜᴛꜱ : • Preventive healthcare continues to gain momentum across mainstream medical networks. • Functional medicine is becoming increasingly accessible through broader payer and provider partnerships. • Consumers are demanding personalized, root-cause approaches to long-term health optimization. • Network expansion is accelerating the adoption of longevity-focused healthcare models at scale. ʟᴏɴɢᴇᴠɪᴛʏ ᴘʀ ᴘᴇʀꜱᴘᴇᴄᴛɪᴠᴇ: The future of healthcare will be defined by prevention rather than intervention. Organizations that successfully combine personalized medicine, continuous care, and data-driven wellness strategies are well positioned to shape the next generation of healthcare delivery and improve long-term health outcomes. 122 million Americans are using complementary health services right now. Gyms. Health coaches. Med spas. Functional medicine practitioners. They're ordering labs. Tracking biomarkers. Investing in their health outside the traditional system... and doing it in growing numbers. But there is no intelligence layer governing that space. No physician-overseen framework helping practitioners make sense of what the data actually means. No clinical infrastructure built for the wellness channel. Just raw results, handed to clients, with limited context and even more limited support. Hospitals aren't the gap. They have systems, specialists, and oversight built around them. The gap is the 122 million people seeking answers outside those walls, and the professionals serving them without the clinical backbone to go deeper. That's not a small problem. That's an entire economy operating without the infrastructure it needs. HealSoma exists to close that gap. Physician-governed clinical intelligence, built specifically for the wellness channel. So the practitioners who already have the trust can now deliver the depth. Nobody is building this for your market. https://lnkd.in/gPEhFYk6 #WellnessProfessionals #FunctionalWellness #GrowYourPractice #HealthCoach #MedSpaOwner #LabTesting #ClinicalIntelligence #WellnessIndustry #FunctionalMedicine #WellnessBusiness

We talk a lot about clinician burnout But spend zero time talking about clinician deconditioning Think about the modern healthcare workflow... • Hours sitting • Minimal sunlight • Meals between patients • Thousands of steps replaced by thousands of clicks Now ask a different question What happens when the people responsible for improving health... Have a work environment that steadily erodes their own? Physical activity doesn't just Improve long-term health It influences sleep, mood, stress resilience, Executive function, attention and even empathy Those aren't wellness metrics, They're clinical performance metrics Healthcare has invested billions in: • Reducing medication errors • Improving documentation • Optimizing workflows All important, But we've largely ignored the physiology of the clinician What if improving patient safety isn't only about better systems? What if it's also about healthier clinicians? Imagine hospitals designed to promote movement • Walking meetings • Protected exercise time • Recovery treated as professional performance We expect elite performance from clinicians every day, But aren't designing environments that support it The future of healthcare won't only be Defined by AI, digital health, or new therapeutics It will also be shaped by whether we recognize That clinician health and patient care are deeply connected Healthier clinicians don't just live longer... They care better

I have a very different opinion on what precision healthcare should become. Today, I had the chance to present to the Digital Health Association (DHA)'s Precision Health Group just that. #PrecisionHealth is delivering the right intervention to the right person, at the right time. But we're missing one more dimension. In the right place. Because for someone living with a chronic disease like endometriosis... The clinic isn't where most of their health journey happens. It happens on a Tuesday morning when they're deciding whether to push through the fatigue. It happens in the supermarket, wondering which foods might trigger a flare. It happens at 2 am when pain wakes them up and they're trying to decide whether this is "normal" or whether they need help. Healthcare happens in thousands of tiny decisions that no clinician has the time or capacity to be present for. After four years of building Endo45, one thing has become obvious to me. Patients are the greatest untapped capacity in healthcare. Today, I shared why I believe that platforms like Endo45, that provide precision self-management, can become another connected layer of a precision healthcare system. Not replacing clinicians. Extending their care. Not replacing appointments. Making the time between appointments smarter. Not just giving patients more information. Helping them make better decisions at exactly the moment they need it. Not because patients should carry more responsibility. Because they're already carrying it. The opportunity is finally supporting them properly. And empowering them may be one of the most untapped and scalable ways to improve health outcomes. I'm buzzing after sharing this perspective with those thinking deeply about the future of healthcare across Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Medtech-iQ Aotearoa, and the Digital Health Association (DHA) 💬 Who agrees? Precision health isn't just about helping clinicians make better decisions. It's also about helping patients make better decisions — every day, between appointments.

Patient Acquisition vs Patient Retention: What Matters More in Healthcare? Every healthcare organization wants to attract more patients. More campaigns. More referrals. More visibility. More appointments. But here's a question worth asking: What happens after a patient walks through the door? Healthcare growth is often measured by the number of new patients acquired. Yet one of the most significant challenges remains largely invisible—patients who begin their care journey but never complete it. They miss follow-up appointments. They discontinue treatment plans. They stop engaging with wellness programs. They quietly disappear from the system. The impact goes far beyond revenue. When patients disengage, continuity of care suffers. Treatment outcomes may be compromised. Trust erodes. And healthcare providers lose the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in that patient's life. The reality is that patient retention isn't simply a business metric, it's a reflection of the patient experience. Patients are more likely to stay engaged when they feel: ✔ Heard, not rushed ✔ Supported, not forgotten ✔ Guided, not overwhelmed ✔ Connected, not treated as just another appointment slot In an increasingly digital healthcare landscape, technology has an important role to play—not by replacing human connection, but by strengthening it. From personalized communication and timely reminders to digital engagement platforms and mental wellness support, the right tools can help healthcare providers stay connected with patients throughout their care journey. Because the goal isn't just to bring patients in. It's to ensure they feel supported enough to stay. As healthcare continues to evolve, perhaps the more important question isn't: "How do we acquire more patients?" But rather: "How do we help the patients who already trust us continue their journey toward better health?" After all, in healthcare, retention is more than a growth strategy. It's a commitment to better outcomes, stronger relationships, and lasting trust. #Healthcare #PatientEngagement #PatientExperience #DigitalHealth #HealthTech #HealthcareInnovation #PatientRetention #HealthcareLeadership #Aponiar #FutureOfHealthcare #AhamHeal Pic Credit: Aponiar Solution Private Limited

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌&𝐀 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 For decades, healthcare M&A was primarily driven by one Q: "Which hospital should we buy next?" However, I'm not convinced that's the right Q anymore. The smarter Q may be: "Which patient access points should we own?" ⚕️ 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙢𝙤𝙖𝙩 Health systems increasingly recognize that hospitals are becoming the highest-acuity destination—not the center of every patient relationship. That changes everything. The strategic assets of tomorrow aren't necessarily inpatient towers. Instead, they're: 🏥 ASCs 🩻 Imaging centers 🧪 Diagnostic facilities 🩺 Physician groups 💉 Infusion centers 🏡 Home health services 📱 Virtual care capabilities i.e., Where patients first enter the system is becoming 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 valuable than where they're ultimately admitted. 💰𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 Many systems are now selling hospitals in markets where they lack competitive scale... and redeploying that capital into outpatient assets that are less expensive to operate, easier for patients to access, and increasingly favored by reimbursement trends. This is 𝙣𝙤𝙩 a temporary tactical adjustment. Rather... this has all of the hallmarks of a reimagined capital allocation strategy. 🎯 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨𝙣'𝙩 "𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙈&𝘼." 𝙄𝙩'𝙨 *𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝙈&𝘼 The goal used to be ➡️ bigger health systems to maximize economies of scale. Now... the goal appears to be ➡️ smarter health systems: 🚫 Less emphasis on geography ✅ More emphasis on network density 🚫 Less emphasis on IP beds ✅ More emphasis on controlling the patient journey before a hospitalization is ever needed That distinction feels increasingly important right now. 🤔 𝘼 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 Five years from now, I wouldn't be surprised if a health system's competitive advantage is judged less by how many hospitals it owns... and more by how many convenient places patients can access care before they ever need one. That's a very different playbook than the healthcare industry spent the past >30 years running. Curious whether others think we're witnessing a permanent redefinition of healthcare M&A?..... or simply the latest cycle?

Premium Healthcare Shouldn't Be Reserved for the Wealthy Healthcare is approaching a defining moment. Around the world, ageing populations, rising rates of chronic disease and increasing pressure on healthcare systems are forcing us to rethink how quality care is delivered. The question is no longer whether healthcare needs to evolve. It's how we make better healthcare accessible to more people. For too long, premium healthcare has been associated with exclusivity—concierge medicine, executive health programs and high-cost private services available to only a select few. But premium healthcare shouldn't be defined by price. It should be defined by outcomes. Quality care means timely access to clinicians, personalised health insights, preventative strategies, better communication and ongoing support. These are the factors that improve health outcomes and create healthier communities. Technology is making this possible at scale. Artificial intelligence, connected health platforms, wearable devices, digital diagnostics and data-driven clinical decision support are helping reshape healthcare delivery. By reducing administrative complexity and improving access to meaningful health information, technology allows healthcare professionals to spend more time where it matters most—with their patients. Innovation has consistently followed the same pattern across industries. Capabilities that were once available only to a small number of people become increasingly accessible as technology matures. Healthcare has the opportunity to follow the same path. The future isn't about creating a more exclusive healthcare system. It's about raising the standard of care for everyone. At Caason Group, we believe innovation creates value when it improves people's lives. Supporting technologies and businesses that enhance accessibility, strengthen resilience and deliver better long-term outcomes is central to building a more sustainable future. Healthcare is one of the greatest opportunities of our generation—not simply because of its size, but because of its potential to create meaningful social and economic impact. The future of healthcare will be more connected. More personalised. More preventative. More intelligent. And ultimately, more accessible. That's a future worth investing in. https://lnkd.in/gjBS9nrt #Healthcare #HealthInnovation #ArtificialIntelligence #DigitalHealth #PreventativeHealthcare #Innovation #Technology #Investment #FutureOfHealthcare #CaasonGroup

Radicle Science was founded on a mission to transform wellness products into proven, precision health solutions—accessible to all, without gatekeepers. Consumers want to take greater ownership of their health, but too often struggle to identify which supplements are safe, effective, and right for them. The wellness industry has an obligation to generate credible evidence—and advances in large-scale, rapid, representative clinical trials now make that possible. Better evidence allows companies to develop products proven to work for specific populations. It helps consumers make informed choices and gives healthcare providers the confidence to have meaningful conversations about wellness products and integrate them into care. In a new position paper, the American College of Physicians calls for premarket approval and mandatory product listing to address adulteration, fraudulent marketing, and unlawful claims. These are serious concerns—but they are already prohibited under existing laws. What is needed is stronger enforcement, alongside substantially more high-quality clinical evidence to ensure claims are substantiated and compliant. A sweeping premarket approval model risks stifling innovation and moving wellness closer to a pharmaceutical system in which development is slow, costly, and centered on treating disease rather than advancing health and healthspan. At Radicle Science, we believe the answer is proof: greater transparency, rigorous clinical research, and precision insights that help identify what works, for whom, and under what conditions. Consumers deserve access to credible research on the products they take. Manufacturers must generate the evidence needed to earn the trust of consumers, healthcare providers, and regulators. The future is proven, precision wellness—accessible for all. Getting there will require evidence, dialogue, and common-sense enforcement that protects consumers while supporting responsible innovation. #EvidenceBased #PrecisionWellness #DietarySupplements #ClinicalResearch
