Eine kleine Tagung, in Bamberg veranstaltet zuerst in Räumlichkeiten des Fachbereichs Theologie u... more Eine kleine Tagung, in Bamberg veranstaltet zuerst in Räumlichkeiten des Fachbereichs Theologie und dann im Haus der Leipziger Burschenschaft Alemannia zu Bamberg, hat den Versuch gewagt, einer Krise des Wahrheitsbegriffs in der Wissenschaft durch Rekurs auf die metaphysische Tradition beizukommen. Ausgangspunkt ist die Wahrnahme einer Einengung von Wissenschaftsfreiheit, konstatiert wird eine Verformung wissenschaftlicher Diskurse durch nominalismusaffin-postmodernistische sowie materialistische Theoreme, und erprobt wird die Option, durch Fachwissenschaft hindurchblickend eine Perspektive auf ein Sinnganzes von Welt und Leben zu gewinnen, damit von daher der Wissenschaft wieder Anhalt in einem gesicherten Wahrheitsbegriff gegeben und der Wissenschaftsfreiheit neue Weite erschlossen werde. Ein Tagungsband ist das beabsichtigte Resultat.

The AG katholische Sozialethik which represents the senior researchers of catholic social ethics ... more The AG katholische Sozialethik which represents the senior researchers of catholic social ethics in German speaking countries has published an open attack against the editor of the renowned journal »Die Neue Ordnung« considering that this journal be removed from the libraries and suggesting that the editor (Pater Ockenfels) be reprimanded by his order. The index librorum prohibitorum comes up again...
Here is an appeal to the AG to take up again and to enjoy the risk of an open academic debate. If points of view proposed in »Die Neue Ordnung« are wrong, misleading, even ethically suspect, then demonstrate that by good research! The better view will be successful in a free debate without censorship!

This sample essay aims at demonstrating how a typical exegesis of a pericope may be done. It is confined to a typical word limit.
It needs correction. Comments, also pertaining to the language, are welcome!
Perhaps the most serious mistake of this paper is that it exists. Should students not better solve the problem of disposition themselves? However, does that pertain to beginners? Learning always to a degree consisted of observing how teachers work.
Aim We have established an international network that gives research activities concerning Satano... more Aim We have established an international network that gives research activities concerning Satanology which already exist in Aarhus, Dublin, Durham and Kiel a sharper international profile and helps a group of 20 scholars of international standing (in different countries) engaged in this field to develop deeper insights by exchanging their views. This network should be a starting point for establishing PhD-and post-doc-positions. The central idea of the network is the assumption that new insights concerning Satanology can be generated by combining research on the Devil more intensively with research on the affiliated fields »dualism / dualistic structures in Judaism and Christianity« and »demonology«.
