  • Telehealth has expanded access to care for millions of people. But access only matters when it’s paired with quality, safety, and clinical rigor. As the digital health landscape evolves, consumers deserve to know what distinguishes a trusted telehealth platform from one focused on making a quick sale. In our latest newsroom article, we break down five key signs of a telehealth platform that’s built for your health because access to healthcare shouldn’t end at convenience. It should start with quality. Read more: https://bit.ly/4wajrc6

Could digital health transform access to obesity care? One of the key questions explored at the Economics of Obesity and Metabolic Health Summit was how digital health can complement traditional, in-person care to expand access to effective obesity management. In a thought-provoking discussion, Craig Primack, head of weight loss at hims & hers and practising physician, shared his perspective on the opportunities and challenges of digital obesity care. The conversation examined what distinguishes a credible, comprehensive service from a fragmented one, and whether digital health could help deliver quality obesity care at scale—not just through overstretched specialist clinics, but to people wherever they live. In conversation with Craig Primack MD, FACP, FAAP. MFOMA, Dipl. ABOM, head of weight loss, Hims & Hers, moderated by Elly Vaughan, principal, health policy and insights, Economist Enterprise #EconObesity #Obesity #MetabolicHealth #DigitalHealth #HealthcareInnovation #HealthTech #ObesityCare https://lnkd.in/en7xAVdv

For most men, health is about more than just losing weight, keeping your hair, or maintaining your sex life. It’s about trying to unlock a better version of yourself. The science is advancing and men’s options to feel great are expanding. That’s why I’m so excited to welcome Dr. Anant Vinjamoori to the team as our Chief Medical Officer of Hims. He’s a leading expert in preventive and longevity care, and is one of the few clinicians in the world that has deep clinical experience and a command of the latest diagnostic and therapeutic technology (including peptides). Joining Dr. Pat Carroll’s wider team of medical experts, Dr. Vinjamoori will provide the clinical guidance that shapes the next phase of the Hims brand across all of our categories – both existing and still to come. Dr. Vinjamoori’s been at the leading edge of care for men for more than a decade, and I can’t wait for our Hims customers to feel his impact. Welcome, Anant! https://lnkd.in/g5n6bvwy

Too often, healthcare journeys end exactly where they began: in uncertainty. Accessing testing can be a challenge, results can be confusing, and next steps are often unclear. That’s why we’re launching Labs AI — an AI care agent designed to deliver personalized insights and help address nuanced health questions. Labs AI is built with clinician-designed guardrails, never diagnoses, and draws from a curated medical knowledge base – not the open internet. • American culture has a complicated relationship with sex. We celebrate it openly, yet often avoid talking about it in healthcare settings. At Hims & Hers, we’re working to change that. To better understand modern intimacy, we surveyed 2,000 Americans ages 18–60. The findings reinforce a powerful truth: sexual health is deeply connected to confidence, identity, and overall well-being. 96% of respondents say sex is a regular part of their lives, and more than half say it shapes how they see themselves. Yet stigma still keeps many from seeking care—41% of men report feeling too embarrassed to get help for sexual health concerns, while 42% of respondents say menopause remains taboo. Encouragingly, technology is helping shift the conversation. Many respondents say digital health has made it easier to seek support discreetly and take control of their health. The takeaway: Sexual health is health—and closing the gap between stigma and care can help millions reclaim confidence, intimacy, and quality of life. https://bit.ly/425noBI

Design done right should attract people to a product while also building trust in the product itself. At Hims & Hers we use design as a strategic lever to build brand and community. It’s so much more than aesthetic polish. I recently connected with BuzzFeed Business to discuss how we’re refreshing the industry, pushing out the clinical coldness often associated with healthcare and replacing it with a high-design, consumer-centric experience rooted in trust, connection, and good vibes. My favorite example of this is the Biotin + Minoxidil Gummy. By prioritizing a high-end look and feel, we're moving this medicine out from the dark corners of the junk drawer to the top of a woman’s bathroom counter. And that’s intentional. Because when a product is beautiful and delightful, treatment adherence follows. I like to think that healthcare is finally having its Netflix moment. We are moving toward a personalized, vertically integrated model that treats our customers like people, not patients. We’re building a holistic lifestyle brand with a soul, not just a collection of care categories. A massive shout-out to our phenomenal in-house creative and production team. Driving this level of innovation from within is what makes us special. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gsD6CsH3

  • Last month, we announced a strategic shift in our US weight loss business that reflects the market transformation in FDA-approved GLP-1 treatments. As part of that shift, we’ve expanded functionality on our platform so that providers can prescribe treatments that are fulfilled by independent pharmacies, offering greater flexibility in how care is delivered. That means eligible Hims & Hers customers can now access the full range of FDA-approved GLP-1 medications, including Zepbound® and Foundayo™. All of this is supported by our weight loss membership, which includes access to 24/7 messaging with licensed providers and a dedicated Care Team for monthly follow-ups.
