🔬 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 #RUNFASTER4EU During the RUNFASTER4EU General Assembly, project partners had the opportunity to visit the Novamont R&D Centre of Piana di Monte Verna, gaining first-hand insight into the research and technological innovation that support the development of sustainable bio-based products. 🧪 The laboratory visit offered a closer look at the research and processing activities that support biomass valorisation, bringing RUNFASTER4EU one step closer to innovative and high-value bio-based solutions. 🌱𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱: 𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝟰𝗘𝗨 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 As part of the RUNFASTER4EU General Assembly in Caserta, Italy, project partners visited the safflower replication field sites, where sustainable cultivation practices are being implemented and evaluated under real farming conditions. 🌾 The visit opened with a welcome and introduction by Coldiretti, highlighting the importance of involving farmers, local stakeholders and farmers’ associations in the development of resilient bio-based value chains. This was followed by a presentation by Novamont on the safflower fields and the activities related to their cultivation and valorisation. 💬 The field visit brought together project partners, farmers, local stakeholders and representatives of the agricultural sector, creating space for questions, discussion and open exchange.
