Şeyh Hamza ne zaman yaşadığı tam olarak bilinmeyen, Çorum'un Hacı Bey Ağacı köyünde medfun bulunan ancak mezarının yeri zamanla kaybolan dinî, manevi hüviyete sahip tarihi bir şahsiyettir. Şeyh Hamza'nın mezarı, arşiv vesikalarında geçtiği şekliyle Çorum'da ikamet eden Derviş Hıdır'ın onu rüyasında görmesi sonucu bqulunmuştur. Bulunan mezarın üzerine Derviş Hıdır ile ahalinin yardım ve gayretiyle türbe yanına da bir tekke inşa edilmiştir. İlk örneklerine nazaran hayli geç bir dönemde (18. yüzyıl ortalarında) ortaya çıktığı anlaşılan tekkenin resmen tanınması ve sisteme eklemlenmesi de hayli zaman almıştır. Tekkenin kamusal alanda karşılık bulmasında Çorum-Laçin-Osmancık güzergahı üzerinde yer alması ve bu bölgede benzeri hizmet verecek başkaca bir zaviyenin bulunmamasının etkisi büyük olmuştur. Şeyh Hamza tekkesi erken dönem örnekleri gibi zengin vakıf gelirlerine ulaşamadığından sosyo-ekonomik yapısı nispeten zayıf kalmıştır. Bugün tarihi yapılardan eser kalmamakla birlikte yeniden inşa edilen türbe ve mescit köyün dinî, sosyal, kültürel yaşantısında etkin rol oynamaya devam etmektedir. İşte bu çalışma Şeyh Hamza türbesi ve tekkesinin idari, sosyal, ekonomik yapısını ortaya koymak, zamanında toplum üzerindeki etkilerini araştırmak amacıyla yapılmıştır.

The Dative shift is observed in Brazilian Portuguese (BP), Mozambique Portuguese (MP), and San Tome Portuguese (STP). It comprises the alternation between a prepositional dative construction (PDC) and a double object construction (DOC) as complements of a ditransitive verb. DOCs are not detected in the Portuguese spoken in Portugal; however, we brought evidence of its presence in Old Portuguese, a pre-figured feature for the Contemporary varieties of Portuguese. The data showed that BP, MP, and STP converge by presenting the same structural possibilities to express the recipient. At least, for BP, as DOCs are detected among university speakers in different regional varieties, they can’t be attributed to the contact, due to slavery, with Bantu languages, whose grammars contain DOC. Since BP is also characterized as a Dominant Variety of Pluricentric Portuguese, we argue that specific linguistic features are not enough to establish the degree of submission to the original linguistic norms.

Kumalık kavramı, Türk kültüründe kadim devirlerden bu yana devam eden bir evlilik biçimi olmuştur. Türk mitolojisinin ana kaynaklarından sayılan ve ideal kağan tipini anlatan Oğuz Kağan Destanı’nda hükümdarın iki eşi vardır. Muhtelif Türk boylarının halk anlatmalarında da beylerin, hanların, padişahların birden fazla eşi bulunmaktadır. İslamiyet ile daha da resmiyet kazanan bu evlilik biçimi, günümüz modern Türk devletlerinde yasaktır fakat halk, asırlardır sürdürdüğü bu evlilik biçimine devam etmekte ve halk anlatmalarında da kumalıkla ilgili unsurlar bulunmaktadır.

Araştırmada, Türk dünyası efsanelerinde kumalık kavramı incelenmiştir. Tespit edilen efsanelerde, kumalık kavramının nasıl yer aldığı ve efsaneleri oluşturan toplumun kumalık müessesesine nasıl baktığı saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Mevcut literatür kaynakları taranmış, Türk lehçelerine ait olan kaynaklar Türkiye Türkçesine tercüme edilmiş ve bulgular tasnif edilerek çalışma tamamlanmıştır. Türk Cumhuriyetlerinin erişime açık çevrim içi akademik bir platformu bulunamadığından dolayı, araştırmada ağırlıklı olarak Türkiye’nin Ulusal Tez Merkezi üzerinden tarama yapılmıştır. Yapılan taramada konuyla alakalı olan 22 efsane tespit edilmiştir. Bu efsaneler Türkiye, Kazakistan ve Karakalpakistan Özerk Cumhuriyeti’nden derlenen efsanelerdir.

Türk dünyası efsanelerinde kumalar genellikle kıskanç, acımasız, çıkarcı ve aile düzenini bozan kişiler olarak betimlenmiştir. Bu anlatılar, kumalığın toplumda huzursuzluk yarattığı ve aile içi çatışmalara neden olduğu şeklinde yorumlanabilir. Ancak bazı efsanelerde, ilk eşin bilge, fedakâr ve koruyucu bir figür olarak kumasını ve kumasının çocuklarını sahiplendiği de anlatılmıştır. Kumalık olgusunun dinî ve mitolojik şahsiyetler üzerinden işlendiği örnekler de tespit edilmiştir. Hz. Fatma, Hz. Havva ve Hz. Muhammed gibi figürler üzerinden aktarılan efsaneler içerisinde, özellikle Hz. Fatma ile ilgili olanlar çoğunluktadır. Bu da Türk dünyasında var olan Umay kültünün, İslamiyet’in kabulü ile Hz. Fatma’nın şahsında tezahür ettiğini göstermektedir.

Efsanelere bakıldığında kumalığın yalnızca bir evlilik modeli değil, toplumsal değerleri ve sınırları belirleyen bir olgu olarak ele alındığı söylenebilir. Efsanelerde genellikle dram, trajedi ve eleştirel bakış açısı hâkimdir. Kadının statüsü bazen doğurganlıkla ilişkilendirilmiş, kuma rekabetinin aile dinamiklerini sarsan bir unsur olduğu işlenmiştir. Bu anlatılar, sadece geçmişin değil, günümüz toplum yapısının ve halk muhayyilesinin de bir yansımasıdır.

This article examines the folk ritual of sewing shut a live frog's mouth within the broader context of binding magic practices. Drawing upon judicial and investigative archival records from the Hetmanate period (18th-century Ukraine), the study analyzes the ritual's structure, sequence of actions, and place within traditional systems of magical belief. To assess the reliability of the historical evidence, a comparative approach is employed, juxtaposing Ukrainian materials with historical and contemporary examples of analogous rituals documented in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Western Europe. The study demonstrates that this ritual belonged to the sphere of sympathetic magic and functioned as a means of symbolic influence upon social relations, particularly in legal and judicial and political contexts. The evidence suggests that the practice was not merely a literary or judicial construct but formed part of the lived folk culture of the Hetmanate. The article also identifies directions for further cross-cultural research into the historical distribution and cultural significance of this ritual phenomenon.

I bet you have some questions about Bigfoot. The sorts of questions that make it difficult to easily dismiss it as a hoax or wilderness folk tale. Like, if the whole thing is made up, why do people keep encountering them? If the infamous 1967 Bluff Creek video of "Patty" is some guy in a monkey suit, then why do the muscles ripple on Patty's legs like a real creature when she walks? Why do indigenous peoples around the world (except Hawai'i) have stories of hairy humanoids they encounter in the wilderness? And why do scientists like Jane Goodall believe in the reality of Bigfoot?

Several years ago I was inspired to do a serious research project into this formerly taboo subject, and what I found changed the way I saw the world and universe. The research project grew into conversations with serious Bigfoot researchers, scientists at top universities, an Apache elder who enjoys calling me with updated sightings from the res, and an astrophysicist.

My sources urged me to publish, so I published a full book with my findings available on Amazon and the Kindle store.

For the sake of science, I'm also giving away free downloads of just the "hard" science evidence in hopes that it is helpful for the next generation of scientists who are growing up in a post-disclosure world where formerly taboo topics are now allowed to be openly looked into and discussed.

The science chapter includes examinations by medical professionals, footprint analyses, sound recordings of vocalizations, an extensive dive into the many DNA studies that have been done since the 1960s and continue to this day, and a consideration of hypertrichosis.

The book is dedicated to Venerable Irodion Iloezersky, a nowadays nearly forgotten saint, who lived in Belozerye in the first half of the 16th century. It dwells on his life and destiny, the story of his veneration by the local people in 17th–19th centuries, the story of composing his Life and its further existence as well as the story of the hermitage that has been founded by the saint’s worshippers in the place where he had accomplished his great deeds. The book comprises the texts of all the Life’s versions together with “Obysk o chudesakh” (“Investigation into the Miracles”), the unique text composed on the eve of Ven. Irodion’s canonization in the mid-17th century, and provides a thorough historical and philological commentary.

In this book, scholars drawn from across the country have studied, in their respective articles, the various art forms, traditions, beliefs, rituals and practices to contribute towards a dynamic and updated understanding of what constitutes the ‘folk’ in India. One will not only find in its pages erudite study on various folk texts like songs, tales, dance, drama, faith and festivities in different parts of the country but also on their interface with literature and critical discourse. With nineteen critical and perceptive articles on folk traditions and forms from across India this book is a humble attempt to offer a glimpse into the wide, if not bewildering, world of research on the broad theme of folk studies.

Medeniyetlerin estetik ve teknik açıdan gelişmişlik düzeylerine vurgu yapan mimarlık ürünleri, kültürel mirasın somut örnekleri olduğu kadar, geçmiş dönemden süregelen birtakım inanışları ve söylenceleri barındırmaları bakımından aynı zamanda kültürel mirasın soyut değerleri olarak da ele alınabilir. Genellikle bilimsel yayınlarda arka planda kalan ancak halk arasında mimari niteliklerinin önüne geçen söylenceler oldukça yaygındır. Mimarlık söylenceleri arasında "insan kurbanı motifi", Avrupa'dan Güney Asya'ya, Balkanlar'dan Anadolu'ya uzanan çok geniş bir coğrafyada etkili olmuştur. Ağırlıkla köprü, kale ve daha sınırlı olarak manastır ve cami türündeki yapılar özelinde izlenen insan sunusu efsaneleri, yerel şarkılara yansımış, dilden dile, nesilden nesile aktarılarak kültürel mirasın önemli unsuru haline gelmiştir. Öyle ki bu anlatılar günümüzde heykel gibi plastik sanat eserlerine ve bale gibi teatral performans sanatlarına dahi yansımıştır. Bu çalışma ile mimarlık eserlerine farklı bir bakış açısıyla yaklaşılarak dünyanın ayrı noktalarında yayılan insan kurbanı söylencesi, Anadolu ve Balkanlardaki çeşitli türdeki yapılar özelinde incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Birbirinden uzak konumlarda ve farklı tarihlerde inşa edilen yapılarda "insan kurbanı" efsanesinin ortak yönleri ve değişen özellikleri üzerinden evrimi ve yapı türleri ile ilişkisi irdelenmiştir.

Stoodley Pike is a peace memorial erected after the Napoleonic Wars by freemasonic subscription. It is located on the site of a probable prehistoric cairn, on a prominent headland overlooking the Upper Calder Valley of West Yorkshire, between Hebden Bridge and Todmorden. In its various historical guises it has attracted folklore, legends, perceptions and fortean notoriety. The author seeks out a metanarractive that links the various themes.

Structuralists, in the last century, have sought to obtain narrative maps and specific narrative patterns that can be used to examine folk tales, fairy tales, and legends of nations. After a lot of effort and presentation of various models, among them, Vladimir Propp was able to discover and present a diagram and model by analyzing a hundred Russian fairy tales and legends, which can be used to describe most of the folk tales and stories. Russian and even world fairies were adapted to it. This model and method attracted the attention of many researchers and became the basis of many investigations and researches after him. The story collection Narina Gulbarin is one of the Kurdish folk works that contains ten stories. In this article, an attempt has been made to apply Vladimir Propp's autobiography diagram and his morphological model to the story "Tomatin and Narin Golbarin", which is one of the stories in this collection, in order to determine how Propp's theory is applicable to this story. After the analysis of this story, it was found that the method and pattern of the prop are generally consistent with the diagram of the actions of this story. What is certain is that this legend is consistent with Propp's method and model, and a large number of actions. The actions in the mentioned story are identical to Propp's morphological model. And the main goal of this article is, the adaptation of the prop’s pattern to prove that it is applicable to the legend of "Tomatin and Narina Gulbarin". Another goal of this research is to make more students and researchers familiar with this book and its collection of legends.

Baba kelimesi Ata anlamında da kullanılmakta olup Türkçenin dışında Rus, Fars, berberi ve Romen dillerinde de kullanılmaktadır. Daha çok saygı duyulması gereken kişiler için kullanıldığı bilinmektedir. Türk Kültür tarihinde Baba kavramının biyolojik baba anlamının dışında koruyucu bir kutsal güç anlamında manevi olarak kullanıldığı görülmektedir. Türbede yatan ve Baba unvanıyla bilinen kişinin toplumu bir arada tutma, koruma, yol gösterme gibi özellikleri kapsadığı da bilinmektedir. Babalık unvanına sahip olmuş kişiler Anadolu sahasında bir hayli yaygın olup Kırşehir/ Mucur ilçesi köylerinde de Baba ve Dede unvanını almış kişiler bulunmaktadır. Bu bildiride Mucur merkez Acıöz mahallesinde Şeyh Hamza, Mucur ilçesi Aflak köyünde Aflak Baba, Geycek köyünde Geyikli Baba, Avcı köyünde Sait Dede ve türbeleri hakkında görsel malzeme de kullanılarak bilgi verilmeye çalışılacaktır.


In the history of Turkish culture, the words Baba / Bab, Ata were used before the conquest of Anatolia. The word Baba is also used to mean Ata and it is also used in Russian, Persian, Berber and Romanian languages besides Turkish. It is known to be used for people who need more respect. In the history of Turkish culture, it is seen that the concept of Father is used spiritually in the sense of a protective sacred power apart from the biological father. It is also known that the person lying in the tomb and known as the Father includes features such as holding the society together, protecting and guiding them. Those who have the title of father are very common in the Anatolian area, and there are people who have the title of Baba and Dede in the villages of Kırşehir / Mucur district. In this paper, we will try to give information about Şeyh Hamza in Mucur central Acıöz district, Aflak Baba in Mucur district Aflak village, Geyikli Baba in Geycek village, Sait Dede and tombs in Avcı village.

This article examines Peter Ackroyd's The English Ghost (2010) as a significant cultural archive gathering ghost stories that emerged over a broad time span, from the Anglo-Saxon period to the present day. Ackroyd compiles this collection by synthesizing accounts from diverse origins, ranging from newspapers, memoirs, and letters to ghost story collections and folk histories. Ackroyd's collection serves as a rich repository of ghostlore, often treated as a folkloric discipline dedicated to the study of spectral phenomena. By presenting various manifestations and haunted locales across different eras, the collection reveals the underlying cultural facets and the evolving heritage of the English supernatural tradition. The article draws on a methodology of close reading and folklore studies, specifically the theories of William Bascom and Richard Bauman, to examine how ghost narratives function in the construction of national identity and collective memory. Moving beyond their value as entertainment, the article analyzes how the narratives in Ackroyd's collection function as mirrors of English culture and heritage. This study specifically explores three recurring themes in the narratives: the persistent intrusion of the past into the present, the dichotomy between rational thought and supernatural occurrences, and collective fears regarding mortality and the afterlife. Ultimately, the article contends that this collection of ghost stories provides a comprehensive understanding of how a nation's enduring fascination with the spectral embodies its cultural identity and reinforces its connection to an ancestral past.

This study explores seventeen folk legends related to places and sacred waters in the locality of Markovi Kuli, Prilep, documented through original field research. These legends are presented in alphabetical order and visualized on a digital toponymic map. The analysis of the collected empirical material unveils the profound depth of collective memory, reflecting the cultural and civilizational evolution of this region over time, with a particular emphasis on the residents of the Varosh settlement, the cradle of Prilep's urban development.
The legends encompass captivating themes and motifs – historical, mythical, socio-normative, romantic, and everyday life – narrated in a fantastical and naïve style. Their primary aim is to elucidate or geographic names the origins of the toponymices of specific locations within Markovi Kuli. Although these narratives are characterized by brief and partially developed storylines, they hold significant value as Macedonian traditions, offering insights into the local toponymy while placing artistic expression in a secondary role.
A notable exception to this category of legends is the historical-toponymic narratives associated with the construction of Markovi Kuli, classified within the “Traces of King Marko” group, and the legend of Tapanche Peak. These stories, also recorded by M. Cepenkov, highlight their intergenerational transmission into contemporary times. Despite the gradual loss of certain folkloric elements, the stylistic and compositional features of these narratives, preserved for over a century, remain intact.
Similarly, the folk beliefs surrounding the sacred waters of Markovi Kuli, renowned for their healing properties, have endured to the present day. These beliefs were likewise documented by M. Cepenkov, attesting to their cultural significance.
In conclusion, this research offers a valuable contribution to the interdisciplinary study of Markovi Kuli and provides a foundation for future comparative research in the fields of folklore and ethnology.

Kharakarei Osa is a gradually disappearing Śākta ritual tradition of Odisha, primarily preserved in the cultural landscape of Paralakhemundi. Rooted in the ancient Tantric practices of Śakti worship, this observance reflects the syncretic folk-religious heritage of southern Odisha. The ritual is traditionally performed by women during the Sundays (Rabibāra) of the month of Chaitra, where various local manifestations of the Goddess are worshipped through ritual offerings, sacred narratives, and devotional performances connected to regional folklore. One of the most distinctive aspects of the tradition is the collective singing of lengthy ritual songs accompanied by the indigenous musical instrument known as Dhenu Kula, which contributes to the spiritual and performative atmosphere of the observance. The worship also preserves traces of medieval Śākta-Tantric beliefs embedded within local oral traditions and domestic ritual spaces. Despite its rich intangible heritage value, Kharakarei Osa is now facing rapid decline due to changing social structures, urbanization, and the diminishing transmission of oral traditions among younger generations. This study attempts to document the ritual, its folkloric associations, musical traditions, and Tantric dimensions as an important yet endangered component of Odisha’s living cultural heritage.

This dissertation offers an in-depth study of the caizi jiaren xiaoshuo 才子佳人小說 (scholar-beauty romances), presenting the first comprehensive overview of this literary subgenre in a Western language, along with an analysis of the discourses surrounding these works from the seventeenth century to the present day. It questions the structural and thematic hybridity of narratives commonly reduced to a mere vehicle for chaste and stereotypical sentimentality. By exploring their narrative richness, this research invites a reconsideration of the prejudices that have long confined caizi jiaren xiaoshuo to a one-dimensional model. This thesis focuses in particular on three little-known works that depart from the conventional codes of the subgenre: Lin er bao 麟兒報 (The Retribution of the Child Prodigy, 1672), Qingmeng tuo 情夢柝 (Awakening from the Lover’s Dream, Shunzhi era), and Guilian meng 歸蓮夢 (Return to the Lotus Dream, Kangxi era). These texts intertwine the motifs of caizi jiaren fiction with elements from erotic tales, military novels, and supernatural tales. They challenge traditional gender representations through depictions of warrior women, cross-dressing episodes, and same-sex unions between women,
thereby subverting conventional ideals of virtue and conjugal harmony. Furthermore, these narratives interrogate individual destiny by incorporating moral reflections drawn not only from Confucianism but also
from Buddhist and Daoist thought. In distancing themselves from the moral dualism characteristic of more traditional stories, these novels develop a more complex and nuanced authorial discourse on love, desire,
and fate.

This article explores Swedish midsummer traditions as a cultural and embodied practice in which ritual, dance, and symbolic action intersect. Drawing on long-term practical experience within folk dance, the study approaches dance not as a fixed repertoire of forms, but as a relational system grounded in interaction, presence, and shared meaning. Through a combined historical and performative perspective, the article traces connections between pre-modern ritual practices-such as herbal magic and incantation-and contemporary expressions within organized folk dance contexts. Particular attention is given to the transformation of midsummer from a functional, ritualized event rooted in agrarian life into a modern, partly institutionalized cultural performance. The analysis is structured around four conceptual dimensions: the ecological, the spiritual, the aesthetic, and the social aspects of dance. These are not treated as abstract categories, but as practical lenses through which embodied knowledge can be understood and articulated. In this framework, dance emerges as a medium through which individuals negotiate identity, community, and continuity across time. The article further introduces the notion of "future folk dance" as a way of rethinking tradition beyond preservation and reproduction. Rather than viewing folk dance as a static heritage, it is proposed as a dynamic and evolving practice, sustained by its capacity to generate meaning through lived experience. By situating dance within a broader cultural and historical context, this study contributes to ongoing discussions in dance anthropology and performance studies, emphasizing the importance of practice-based knowledge in understanding traditional forms as living processes.

Antes de pasar al análisis y a la reflexión, es conveniente conocer cómo es -¿cómo era?-la versión del extraordinario cuento que da pie al asunto que me propongo abordar, tal como la recogí de una de mis informantes principales: Catalina Tejera Cobo. Se la grabé el 7 de agosto de 1983, en Galaroza (Huelva).Tenía ella entonces 70 años de edad. Era una mujer muy viva, y muy considerada en el pueblo por su carácter afable y comunicativo. Al quedar huérfana de madre muy joven, había sacado adelante una familia humilde compuesta por el padre y cinco hermanos, trabajando al mismo tiempo en el campo. Por mote humorístico, era conocida también como "la Marquesa de la era". A los cuentos maravillosos ella les llamaba, como en otras muchas zonas de Andalucía, "de encantamento". Había ido a la escuela "mu poco", por lo que todo su saber cuentístico era de tradición oral, compartido con otros miembros de la familia. En el acto de la grabación dijo: "Me s´han orvidao la mitá".

The researcher has aimed to analyse Amitav Ghosh's Jungle Nama: A Story of the Sundarban in the light of environmental resistance it faced from the Anthropocene. The capitalist's paradigm and colonial regime have been exposed in the expounded study; which uncovers these oppressive practices which have poised challenges to the ecology. Ghosh's re-telling the legend of Bon Bibi-Bengali origin, which focused the coexistence of the human-nature binary. Ghosh's reimagination of myth in a form of oral storytelling in Jungle Nama: A Story of the Sundarban as a living ethical framework which foster coexistence, nature-human harmony, and moral ethical responsibility toward the natural world. This research paper expounds Ghosh's Jungle Nama: A Story of the Sundarban' use of myth: Bon Bibi a goddess who protects the forest as a form of environmental resistance; challenging modern human exceptionalism, capitalist extraction and colonial ecological agency. The inherent human greed for the advancement to claim the higher-rank in life; which human seek for material possessions even at the cost of the exploitations of the nature this has been exposed in the proposed study, and the rift between human-nature is apparent. However, eventually, the unification of human-nature binary is also evident in Jungle Nama: A Story of the Sundarban. The researcher has explored the above-mentioned thematic concerns especially with the consideration of the cause and effect of the capitalist extraction of the natural resources from the mangroves of the Sundarbans forests, thus exposed the complicated relationship of human with nature.

Bu çalışma, Safranbolu geleneksel konutlarında yaygın olarak görülen ancak mevcut literatürde sınırlı biçimde ele alınan “gliste” yapı elemanının tanımlanması ve mimari bağlamda değerlendirilmesini amaçlamaktadır. Geleneksel Türk konut mimarisi üzerine yapılan çalışmaların büyük ölçüde plan tipolojileri ve yapım sistemleri üzerine yoğunlaştığı; buna karşın gliste sistemi gibi özgün yapı bileşenlerinin yeterince incelenmediği görülmektedir. Bu durum, söz konusu elemanın mimari ve kültürel önemine rağmen literatürde yeterli görünürlük kazanamadığını ortaya koymaktadır. Ayrıca, geleneksel konutların değerlendirilmesinde yapı elemanları ölçeğinde yapılan çalışmaların sınırlı olması, bu tür özgün sistemlerin bütüncül bir yaklaşımla ele alınmasını zorlaştırmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışma, gliste sisteminin mekânsal konumu, yapım özellikleri ve işlevsel niteliklerini ortaya koymanın yanı sıra, saha gözlemleri ve yerel kullanıcı bilgileri doğrultusunda zaman içerisindeki kullanım değişimini de değerlendirmektedir. Araştırma yöntemi; literatür taraması, yerinde gözlem ve mimari rölöve analizlerine dayanmaktadır. Bu süreçte farklı yapılardan elde edilen veriler incelenmiş ve sistemin kullanımına ilişkin benzerlikler ile farklılıklar ortaya konulmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular, gliste sisteminin yalnızca bir cephe elemanı olmadığını; geçmişte özellikle depolama ve kurutma gibi gündelik yaşam pratikleri ile doğrudan ilişkili, çok işlevli bir yapı bileşeni olarak kullanıldığını göstermektedir. Günümüzde ise bu işlevlerin büyük ölçüde ortadan kalktığı ve sistemin çeşitli müdahalelerle dönüşüme uğradığı tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışma, gliste sisteminin mimari ve işlevsel özelliklerini ortaya koyarak literatürde tanımlanmasına katkı sağlamakta ve Safranbolu konutlarında bu elemanın belirleyici rolü dikkate alınarak “glisteli konutlar” kavramının değerlendirilmesine yönelik bir yaklaşım sunmaktadır.

Perhaps the most bizarre of the creatures told in Anatolian legends is “Al Karısı”. It pesters the women who have newly given birth, even kills them. This legendary creature has the appearance of half a giant, half a witch. In general the description about “Al Karısı” is like this: “She is a woman wandering alone, she kidnaps children. She has an ugly face, long breasts sagging to the ground (in some legends these breasts are seen to be thrown back over the shoulders) and long, iron nails. Here the description of Al Karısı reflects an image that represents the negative side of the “Mother Archetype”. The origin of this creature is related to the image of “fire”. According to Abdülkadir İnan, among ancient Turks, “Al”, who is the God of Fire, is the same as “Alu”, who is the Sumerian God of Fire. Also Al Karısı is seen in many Turkish communities. In order to get protected from them, an “iron” object (a pin, a packing needle or a knife) is used. If an Al Karısı, which is caught can run away, she goes to a pond. If we take “Fire, Iron, Water” elements as basis, we are faced with a different point of view. If we look at the issue from the view of “five elements” which has influenced the Turkish communities and has a significant place in Eastern philosophy, a totally different analysis of Al Karısı image emerges.

Апстракт: Музичка игра представља мултимодалну активност у којој се различите комбинације ритмичног говора, покретā и гестова, вокализација и песама преплићу; која тече и често је фрагментарна и која се пре трансформише него само понавља. Састоји се од активности које омогућавају деци да истражују, импровизују и стварају уз помоћ звука, али може укључивати и истраживање вокалних, инструменталних и звукова из окружења, као и начина на који се ти звуци стварају. У току музичке игре деца природно реагују на музику, текст, ритам и позитивне друштвене интеракције. Полазећи од чињенице да се многи аутори слажу да је игра важан чинилац савремене поезије за децу (остварен у језику, избору тема, форми и садржини ових песама), основна идеја рада била је да се из стваралаштва за децу Љубивоја Ршумовића изабере неколико песама које су садржајем, структуром, ритмом и римом, мелодичношћу стихова прикладне за децу предшколског узраста. Изабране песме су прво анализиране из угла датих компоненти, имајући у виду да управо поетски језик, уметничка форма и садржина представљају најважније елементе структуре сваког књижевног дела (Duran i sar., 1988: 264), али и значајне конструктивне факторе стиха и носиоце његове музикалности. У завршном делу рада песмама је додата инструментална пратња на дечјим музичким инструментима, која омогућава да се, уз упутства,  искористе за различите врсте игара у току музичких активности у предшколској установи.

EN DEL I HELHETEN Tillkomsten av musikforskning som en akademisk disciplin hör ihop med förändringar inom två samhällsområden. Det ena området är musiklivets successiva expansion och professionalisering. Det andra är motsvarande förändring i högre utbildning och forskning. Dessa båda i förening har bidragit till att skapa en grund för musikforskning som akademiskt ämne. Musikforskningens tillkomst och framsteg liknar i det stora hela andra liknande discipliners historia. Men det finns några särdrag. Sambandet med musiklivets utveckling är ett sådant. Det är riktigast att beskriva detta samband som en växelverkan. Musiklivets förändring har gett incitament till förändrad forskning och likaså förändrad högre utbildning. Men också det omvända gäller: musikforskning har på olika sätt påverkat musikutövning, -lyssning och -tänkande. Ett annat särdrag finns i den större musikutbildningssfär som musikvetenskap (som ämnet numera heter) ingår i. Den största utbildningsvolymen inom musikområdet står musikhögskolorna för. De är i dag sex stycken (Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö, Örebro, Piteå och Ingesund 1 ) och har huvudsakligen utbildningar för blivande musiklärare och blivande musikutövare. Musikhögskolornas historia i Sverige går tillbaka på de utbildningar som Kungl. Musikaliska akademien startade redan vid dess grundande 1771 och som benämndes akademiens undervisningsverk och senare musikkonservatorium, för att 1942 kallas musikhögskola. This text was another attempt by the author to convert the oral folklore texts and fragments of the original folk tale folklore of the population of Socotra - in Soqotri - into interesting and readable (aloud!) texts of the literature for children. Actually, this very tale is about a Socotran TRICKSTER being represented in local folklore by two such heroes as: Ali Bata`el (from Yemeni Arabic dialectal "ثعل" or "ثعيل" "a fox") and Be Nuwas/Benuwas (after the classic Arabic poet of unusual behaviour who became a popular character of folklore of different peoples and lands of the region) - was extremely wide spread among young Socotrans in the second part on the 1970s The starting conflict happenes between Ali Bata`el/Benuwas, who tried his agriculture startup and a lizard (a Socotran skink, soq. gimsh) that ate all of protagonist's works and dreams.

De pers kan, zeker voor de 19de eeuw, een waardevolle aanvulling bieden voor officieel bronnenmateriaal. Ook toen kwam er al eens nepnieuws voor. Het was misschien niet altijd bedoeld, maar het ontbrak de organen aan (degelijke) controlemiddelen. Rechtzettingen … bleven veelal uit. Hoe ontstond de kwakkel rond het levend begraven van een Aalterse burgemeester?

Упркос честој анализи Дамјановљеве прозе кроз призму гротеске, пародије и деконструкције ауторитета, контекстуализовање Божје фигуре у тим оквирима опстајало је тек као узгредна тема у досадашњим критичким разматрањима. Наш рад настоји да ту празнину попуни, позиционирајући Бога између смеховних и бласфемичних аспеката, при чему се посебна пажња поклања причама Зовем се Бог, Сава Пост-Дамјанов и Бог, Мање од раковог зрна и Повест о Смрдивоју Анђелу и Лепосави Ђаволу, које се за ову тезу показују вишеструко репрезентативним. Теоријско-методолошки ослонац пружају бахтиновска концепција карневалске слике света, постмодерна теорија идентитета (Хачион, Батлер, Шуваковић) и Лиотарова запажања о фрагментарности тзв. метанарација, што омогућава оглашавање актера из позиције маргиналног. Долазимо до закључака да се идентитет Бога у Дамјановљевој прози може одредити као "идентитет у сталној транзицији", будући да је реч о својеврсном кружењу од мушког ка женском полном идентитету (небинарни дискурс), као и сексуалној варијацији (хомосексуални, бисексуални дискурс). Ипак, Дамјановљев (под)смех традицији и монолитним религијским истинама, није разорнорушилачког, већ ревитализујућег карактера, у функцији стварања једне нове теологије -теологије смеха.

A personified wall clock is part of the life of a married couple — it constantly follows them, occupies their space, and quite literally counts down their time. The problem begins precisely with their different relationship to time: while the husband is calm and has no issue with the presence of the clock, the wife is disturbed by its incessant ticking, which makes her nervous and overly aware of the passing of time. She persistently urges her husband to go somewhere and begin doing something meaningful with their lives before it is too late, but wherever she goes and whatever she does, she cannot free herself from the ticking of the clock. Time guarantees no meaning — neither here nor anywhere.
This is a performance about the clash between objective and subjective time, which are rarely synchronized, but also about repetition versus transience — two opposites from which, no matter how much we try to escape, always, without exception, find us.

RITUAL FOLKLORE OF WESTERN AZERBAIJAN: POETIC STRUCTURES, ARCHETYPAL CODES AND THE SYNERGETIC MODEL OF COLLECTIVE MEMORY This study examines the ritual folklore of Western Azerbaijan as a multilayered cultural system that integrates mythological thought, social ritual, verbal art and collective emotional experience. Ritual genres such as saya chants, holavar, wedding songs, laments, rain-invoking prayers and sacrificial invocations form a syncretic structure in which word, sound, movement and symbolic objects operate as a unified performative mechanism. Through semiotic, archetypal and synergetic analysis, the research reveals that this folklore functions not only as an aesthetic tradition but also as a cultural memory system that preserves identity, restores emotional balance and rEkonstructs the lost homeland on the symbolic level. The post-1988 displacement strengthened the role of ritual folklore as a medium of cultural continuity and mnemonic resistance. The findings demonstrate that Western Azerbaijani ritual folklore represents a self-organizing poetic cosmos that regenerates collective memory and sustains national identity across generations.

This article presents a simplified and structured analysis of the motif of "Return to the Homeland" in the folk poetry of Western Azerbaijan. The study demonstrates that the concept of return is not limited to physical relocation but also involves the preservation of collective memory, restoration of national identity, and maintenance of spiritual connection. The poetic features, metaphorical systems, and archetypal images of the return motif are examined in detail. Additionally, selected examples from the Zangezur folklore collection are analyzed to illustrate how this motif is represented in folklore. The research concludes that the motif of return functions as a psychological mechanism of resistance against historical trauma and serves as a key carrier of cultural memory.

In folk beliefs the Chud are an ancient mythical people that lived in the territory of the
European North, the Urals, and Siberia. The article presents the results of a study of narrations about the Chud in Siberian chronicles, epics, and oral prose stories that were recorded in Western Siberia in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The author identified a set of motifs that are present in Siberian oral legends about the Chud and factors that determine the areas where stories about the Chud existed in Siberia. The legend about the Chud was brought to the Urals and Siberia from the European part of Russia, specifically from the Russian North. But the Siberian versions of such stories (found both in chronicles and in oral sources) are organically connected with the local geography and are confined to local Siberian realities and archaeological monuments, such as ancient burial mounds and settlements. These locations determine the areas where beliefs
about the Chud existed in the territory of Siberia.

      Lindahl uses the Epic of Defeat (a term coined by Bruce A. Rosenberg to identify a number of similarly plotted narratives commemorating lost battles from Mt. Gilboa and Thermopylae to Roncevaux, the Alamo, and Custer's Last Stand) as a lens for analyzing Thermopylae and the Alamo, two battles that diverge Rosenberg's pattern in similar ways. Thermopylae demonstrably shaped the Alamo narrative, and both Thermopylae and the Alamo have reached the status of "lived legends", narrative complexes that deeply influence their audiences and provoke them into action.
