[UNITED NATIONS] Ten days ago, Business France and Mission permanente de la France auprès des Nations unies held their yearly UN Business Meetings in New York: two days dedicated to supporting French companies in understanding and accessing the opportunities offered by the United Nations. As the United Nations celebrates its 80th anniversary, the UN80 reform led by the Secretary-General is driving a profound transformation in the procurement methods and operational priorities of the UN system. France is currently the 7th largest supplier to the United Nations, with USD 755 million in contracts awarded in 2024. French companies boast many strategic assets, and their expertise, reliability and a capacity for innovation can help them further extend their presence in the future. The 2026 UN Business Meetings brought together industry leaders: - DAHER (Karolina Marchel); - VERGNET HYDRO SAS (Thierry Barbotte, Etienne Decherf); - Serco (Julien Rigot, Magdalena Wojtak); - Economat des armées (Arthur D., Clarisse Lavieu, Marion P.); - Airstar (Xavier Ponson); - PRO à PRO (Matthieu Saulières, Vincent Verrechia); - Schneider Electric (Anna Coby) - and Medicom Group (Gopinath Jeyabalaratnam). During the first day, participants were given the opportunity to meet with United Nations agencies in order to better understand their mandates, priorities and procurement procedures. The second day was fully dedicated to targeted one-on-one meetings, enabling concrete and operational discussions. This mission was made possible through the continuous support of the Permanent Mission of France to the United Nations, a sponsor for this initiative for over two decades. Many thanks to Ambassador Jérôme Bonnafont’s team, especially to Éléonore Peyrat, Tudor Alexis, Wissal El Mahmoudi, Arthur Bauer and Lieutenant-Colonel Sylvain Coat for their commitment and constant support. Our thanks also go to the representatives of the UN Secretariat; the United Nations Department of Operational Support (DOS); the United Nations Support Office in Haiti (UNSOH), the Office of Supply Chain Management (OSCM), the Procurement Division & Logistics Division, as well as the teams from UNDP, World Food Programme, UNICEF, FAO and the The United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) for the quality of their presentations and the depth of the discussions. Finally, special thanks to Pierre Antoine Levy and Maison des Princes (maisondesprincesny.com) for providing catering services throughout the mission. The next edition of the UN Business Meetings will take place next summer; if you would like to learn more or apply to participate, contact Nathalie Issa, Isabelle Raux or Faïz El Mamoune. See you in 2027!

[Sport Business Event] 🎯As part of Minister Marina Ferrari’s official visit to the United States, Business France North America organized three high‑impact sequences: a Women in Sports luncheon, a Sport Business Summit, and a Club Sport North America meeting — a unique platform gathering French sports subsidiaries across the continent to amplify their priorities and scale collective initiatives. ⚽ Leveraging World Cup 2026 momentum, the Sport Business Event hosted on June 15 at the Consulate of France in New York accelerated strategic conversations and forged concrete collaborations to seize a decade of business opportunity for French firms across North America. ✨We brought together nearly 200 C‑level leaders from US and French sports ecosystems, key institutional partners and French sports companies established in the region for an energizing afternoon of insights, networking and action. ➡️After an opening by the Consul General and Business France, we unveiled the Business Playbook 2026, a practical roadmap for French companies aiming to scale in the North American sports market. The program continued with a transatlantic panel moderated by Asrat Alemu featuring Victorien Tixier, Co-Founder & CEO, ScorePlay, Marcy Lefkovitz, Advisor, Dalet, Shirin Braden, VP Brand Strategy, New Orleans Saints and Amanda Herald, VP Global Marketing Strategy & Insights, National Football League (NFL). Together, they explored how sports organizations are capturing long‑term value beyond mega‑events through first‑party data, fan loyalty and new revenue models. 🗨️We were also honored to host a fireside chat with Philippe DIALLO, President of the FFF - Fédération Française de Football, and Jeanny Pak, Interim President & CEO of New York City Economic Development Corporation. Moderated by Daniel Cohen (Octagon), the conversation explored what a World Cup legacy means for cities, federations, companies and the wider sports ecosystem. ✨The afternoon closed with a special address by Minister Marina Ferrari? a partner showcase and a high‑energy networking cocktail. Warm thanks to our speakers and participants — the synergies and conversations sparked here mark the beginning of concrete initiatives that will define the next decade. The next decade of sports in North America is already taking shape, and French companies have a central role to play. 🙏We’re also incredibly grateful to our partners and supporters for making this event such a success: Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Jade FIDUCIAL, Team Green, Dalet, Withings, careXpat America (ex.
